Review of G.B. Pant Engineering College.

Placements: Placement opportunities in this college were low as our seniors hardly got any good salary package. However, the trend is changing, and the placement rate and salary packages are increasing significantly now. Almost everyone from the CSE department got placed in good companies, and some students even got 2-3 job offers. The placement cell of this college is now focusing very well on the recruitment drives. They are organising an ample number of on-campus and off-campus drives for students. Compa...

Although the campus is small, this is a beautiful engineering college.

Placements: It is a good government engineering college in terms of placements for CSE batch. The placement rate was about 70-80% when I passed out and have significantly increased to 100% now. A CSE student on an average will fetch a package of around 3-4 LPA. The highest package offered at my time was 10 Lacs by Microsoft. Moreover, Infosys is the home company of our college, and it visits the campus every year. Apart from this, companies like Wipro and Capgemini, etc., visit the campus for placement driv...

The college provides engineering degree at low cost.

Placements: Placements in the college are less as compared to other engineering colleges, specifically for ECE branch. Only 20-30% of the students from ECE branch get on-campus placements. The placement rate is better in other branches, i.e., CSE (40-50%) and MAE (50-60%). Major companies like Infosys and Maruti visit the campus for recruitment drives. Apart from on-campus drives, students get to attend off-campus drives which are organised jointly by other colleges, in companies like Wipro, Accenture, Hewl...

Review of G.B. Pant Engineering College.

Placements: Around 75-80% of the students got placed last year. Many companies visit our college in the starting of the fourth year of a batch. Companies like TVS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., have visited our college to offer placements. The packages offered depend on the knowledge of students. Sometimes, average students get better packages than toppers.

Overall, the college is up to the mark according to its fee structure, faculty, and placements.

Placements: Although the college is known for its mechanical branch, placements for all the branches were good. Placements for our computer science batch was good too. I don't know the exact figure of the highest salary package offered, but it was good enough. Around 50% of the students got placed. We do have a placement cell, and the members of the cell are very helpful.

The best college for mechanical students besides IITs and NITs.

Placements: The Placements in the college are good. The average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. Most of the companies visit for mechanical students. Only a few companies visit to hire the students from the computer science department. Placement record of the mechanical stream is good. Every year, companies like Honda, Maruti, and Godrej, etc., visit the campus.

G.B. Pant Engineering College is the best.

Placements: The college has a placement cell and is very useful for students. It helps us to make good decisions for our future and to get placed in a good company. Our batch achieved 100% placements. Students attended the interviews conducted by different companies like Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc. Packages offered were good.

GB Pant government engineering college - A government Tag only?

Placements: Placements for our college are much lower than the expectations from a government. College. Although few good companies visited our campus but the total intake capacity of placements for our batch remained upto 15 to 20 out of batch of roughly 90 students. The highest package was approximately 6.5 LPA CTC. The companies include Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Infosys, Tata AIG, etc. Are few major companies visited our campus.

The best education at low fee.

Placements: This year almost 132 students got placed out of 190 with very good packages in top MNCs. Even the students who have backlogs got placed. We have the best training and placement cell in town. Mr Rohit Anand and Ms Sunita Tiwari are pillars of the training and placement cell. They invited almost 39 companies for placements.

I am really disappointed with this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not reliable. According to the head of our training and placement cell, performance of students in the exams conducted for placements and interviews has been decreasing. Around 30-40% of the students from various branches got placed last year. Some good companies like Maruti, Infosys and Godrej visit our campus for placements. The average package offered is around Rs. 3.5-4 LPA. In 2016, 17 students were hired at Infosys. The students who got an internship through c...

Good faculty, average placements in '14, infrastructure should be improved.

Placements: When I was in 1st year the placements were really good nearly 150%. Then for 2 years it was on downward path. Luckily, when I graduated placements were average with around 60-70% students placed. Minimum was 2 LPA and Max was 6.5 LPA across all branches with an average salary package of 3.5lpa.

The best college to provide good education.

Placements: The placements in our college are good compared to other private colleges. Many companies offer internships to students to get best jobs. The salary package offered is also good. Though I participated in many companies, I chose that one company which provided a good annual package, and it is my core branch related job.

Placements: Placement is good but few students are placed. Companies like Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, TCS visited our campus for placement. They will organise a written test, Group Discussion and Interview for taking the students for his company. After completing the final step Interview student get placed. Minimum percentage criteria for such company is 60% for taking the test.

In short, I'm satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The placements are good for students, who score more than 60% in academics. Almost 60% of the total students got placed in well-reputed companies like Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Infosys, Horiba, etc. The companies offer the salary packages up to 8 LPA. If you are good in academics and have good practical knowledge of theoretical concepts, then you will get placed in any companies whichever you want.
