Placements: First batch completed college with 150% placement, but after that, it is always decreasing. Till 2015, some companies have blacklisted the college from placements due to lack of basic amenities. Sometimes, Infosys visits but selects very few students on random basis. Right now, confirm is very poor with regard to placements.

Placements: The placements for MAE students are limited. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Wipro, Elmex, Piston and Rings visit the college. The placements for ECE and CSE are also limited, few companies visit our campus. Companies like Infosys, AIG, etc., visited the college. More companies are coming nowadays.

Placements: The placements are average for CSE and ECE. About 40-50% got placed. While for MAE, it is best in all IP colleges. Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Godrej etc. visited every year. The highest package offered in 7.2 LPA by Maruti Suzuki. So, whoever wants to take MAE, this will be the best college for them.

Placements: Overall, the placement of college students was good. Almost 70% of the mechanical engineering students got placed in more than 20 companies. Major companies for mechanical students which come in college yearly are Hero, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, TATA, IGL, Bajaj, Sriram Piston, BlueStar, OMAX, L&T, Thermax, ABB, Minda, TVS, and many other companies. The average salary package per month was approximately 15-16K. In the companies like ITC and IGL, the salary per month was 40K.

Placements: If you are from MAE, then chances are Nice. The companies like Maruti and Godrej give a nice package, but other than MAE, the placement is not good. For CSE, the companies like Infosys and Wipro are there. Overall, I would say if you are good, then you don't have to worry a lot about placement because the college placement is increasing year by year.

Placements: The placement of this college is not good. The package in the college is also not good. Only 10 to 20 percent of students got placement in good company as told by our seniors. The company like Maruti Suzuki, Omax private limited, ITC limited come to the college. The average package is 3 to 4 LPA.

Placements: Companies like Maruti, Honda, Rapid Metro, L&T, Tata Motors frequently come every year. These are like permanent companies that give placement, and besides these, many more small and big companies come for placements. In 2016, approximately out of 60 students, 25 to 28 students are placed. Placements: There are good placements. It is the top college after Ambala in North India, regarding the placement. Very good placement techniques are taught. Good companies like Honda, Maruti etc. come to this institute. It is best polytechnic college in whole over India.

Placements: The placement for CSE is not good, but mechanical students have good placement. The principal is too good and trying to call companies on the campus with handsome packages. When I pass the degree, its performance was average. Senior batch placement was not good except mechanical engineering branch.

Placements: Placements in our college are not reliable. According to our training and placement head, the performance of students in placement exams (written and interview) had been decreasing. Earlier 40 to 45 students were able to crack the interview. Now, barely 4 to 5 students could even pass the written exam. Infosys takes most of the students (around 20 students were offered with 3 LPA to 5 LPA package). Placements: The placements scenario is not good. Only one core company for mechanical and automation visits every year. This company is Maruti Suzuki which places 5 to 6 students in their core department. Infosys and Godrej also visited in 2017 with mediocre CTC offers. The highest package was offered by Maruti Suzuki which was around Rs. 5.8 LPA. The lowest package was offered by Infosys which was Rs. 2.8 LPA. Placements: In terms of placement in ECE branch, there is very disappointing because for ECE. No core company will come to placed students. Few companies come with an IT background, so, unfortunately, students familiar with some programming language. Only, mechanical department placement cell is the best in this college.

Placements: The placement here in ECE totally depends on the coding skills, if you can code, then you can clear any written test. Companies do visit, but that does not guarantee placements as one needs to work on coding. Core companies do not visit, so the students rely more on the GATE score than the college's, in order to get placed in core companies.

Placements: The training and placement department is very poor in the G.B. Pant Government Engineering College as they seen in the brochure of GGSIPU is completely different from inside. Our batch has no core electronics placement, and all the companies are for CSE or MAE. If you want placement, then take MAE which is good in this college.

Placements: The college is mediocre in terms of placement, and a few telecom company visited our campus. In the previous year, Infosys visited the campus, and about 17 students are selected from CSE. If you have no other better option other than this college, then only join this college. If you are a self-learner, then come and explore your talent in this college.

Placements: The placements are average. It depends on TNP coordinator for the college. They don't usually put many efforts into getting some good companies to campus. So, get ready for your own off-campus search. I'm 2014 passed-out batch, and we had only Infosys as an on-campus company. A couple of 3rd-grade companies were also there as well and can't expect much from them.

Placements: Placement of GB Pant Engineering College is average. Around 30-40% of students were placed in various branch last year. Some good companies like Maruti, Infosys and Godrej visit our campus for placement. The average package here is around 3.5-4 LPA. In 2016, 17 students were placed in Infosys.

Placements: CSE placements are good. They were not that good for mechanical students during my time, but it depends on the TPO. If he/she is good, companies will be there. It also depends on the students how they perform and how active they are. Companies like Maruti, Honda, Godrej, etc. come here most of the time. So, one can grab the opportunity if he or she is good, but they take 5 students each. Rest, depends on the person's calibre.

Placements: Only 2-3 core companies visit for placement drive in our college. Last year only 3 students were selected in Maruti Suzuki company and that was the only core company last year. No internships were provided by the college to the students. The placement package is also not good.

Placements: The placement cell in this college is pretty good. Being a mechanical engineering student, I can certainly say that. Maruti for a package of 7.40 LPA and Godrej are regular recruiters. Other companies like TCS, Infosys, etc .are also recruiters with packages of around 3-3.50 LPA.
