The college has good teaching quality, but the hostel and mess facilities are bad.

Placements: The placements in the chemical engineering department are average. But the teaching process is good, and practical laboratories are good with good instruments. Overall, it is good for learning, and you get good knowledge. Other activities are conducted on campus, so it's very good.

I had a good experience overall according to the fees.

Placements: Almost 70%-80% of the students get placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3.6 LPA. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Here internships are not conducted, and students have to find internships on their own.

It is a good college, but I suggest thinking again.

Placements: It is the best college in the region, and they teach you every theory in the syllabus. Students only have to do assignments and give mid-semester exams. Our college won't give funds for your group projects like Robocon.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: As far as the electrical department undergraduate course is concerned, every student who wants to get placements will get placed in companies like L&T, Torrent, TBEA, etc. Companies like Infosys, etc., also visit the campus for placements. A lot of students also opt for higher studies as better coaching is available for GATE, CAT and higher studies at abroad at VVN.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: As per my knowledge, and which I gain from the seniors and our TPC committee, about 30-40 students out of 60 in our course got placed. But sometimes about 20-30% of the students not even sit in placement because they opt for higher studies. So about 80-90% of the students get placed. My two seniors got a salary package of 5.5 LPA from Godrej. I also read about Alpha 9, which offered a salary package of 13 LPA, but I listened that they initially charge 5-6 LPA and gives fake promises. I think God...

It is absolutely perfect for students who are willing to study well.

Placements: GCET assured almost 70-80% of placements with almost 28 companies visiting here. Furthermore, computer and information technology (IT) branches have a placement rate of around 90%. The average salary package offered is about 3.35-3.75 LPA. Even many students get jobs through internships, and many are planning their masters.

Overall, I had a very nice experience here.

Placements: In our branch (CS&IT), almost 90% of the students were placed. The average salary package offered was around 3.0 LPA, and some of them also got a salary package of 7-8 LPA. If you research on google or college portal, the numbers might get differ because the salary packages mentioned in the site has also included the offline placement records. Almost 90% of the students who want to do jobs got placed from our class, and more than 20 students didn't want jobs as they opted for further studies.

Placements in this college are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not on par. The average students get placed in software companies with average packages. But no hardware-based companies visit the campus for the interview. These companies hire only a few students and reject all others.

GCET is one of the top colleges in India.

Placements: The college conducted campus interviews, but I was not selected. Overall, the placements were good. Approximately 60-65% of the students were placed. But, most of the companies are from the sales sector. It is not good for a B.E student. MNCs visit the campus, but they hire very few students from the college. Only 2-3 students are selected from the whole college, and it is not fair enough.

I am pretty satisfied with the faculty and the efforts they put, but placements can be better.

Placements: Almost 270 students are currently placed during our academic year 2018-19. Out of these, almost 48 students are from the mechanical branch. In mechanical engineering, placements are provided, but there are very few students who are placed in core technical jobs. Most of them are placed in technical sales. Some people are also placed in IT companies because our mass recruiters are IT companies. The placement statistics are also manipulated in the way just like other colleges. If a student is plac...

Placements: The placement record of our college is 70-80%. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, L&T, and Alstom, etc., visited our campus for placements. Our senior batch students were also offered placement opportunities, but we had better placements than our senior batch as many new companies have visited the college to hire the students of our batch.
