The best college to be in for engineering, in Gujarat.

Placements: The placement assistance is provided by the college, but it does not ensure 100% placements. The placement is very fair and not biased to specific students. TPO works hard to get right companies on campus and get students placed. The major visitor to the company was TCS and Infosys.

Absolutely satisfied with this college because of its faculty, facilities, placements, labs, etc.

Placements: Placement in this college has been one of the most integral part which highlights the quality of engineer that it produces. Last year, placement in this college was one of the highest in entire Gujarat. And this year also placements are going on very nicely.

GCET- Worth visiting for your admission

Placements: Many good companies like L&T, Infosys and many more visit here to hire fresh GETs. Around 60% students get placed. The students of every branch get a good opportunity to get placed according to their technical & personal skills. The placement cell of the college is hard working & brings as many companies as possible.

A very good and strict (for UG students) college, promoting education and self development.

Placements: Talking about the placements for ME students, core field companies are less interested in recruiting the master's students. The placement coordinators of the college try to pitch in the companies to recruit the master's students. So some companies do agree over it. Considering my batch, two of my colleagues were places in Infosys. Many companies visit this college for placements, out of them if they require master's candidates, the placement team informs us. The T&P cell is excellent here. Now ...

The college provides excellent theoretical and practical knowledge.

Placements: This college provides good placement for the students. Every year, 50 to 60 students get a job from the college campus. In this college, many MNCs arrive for talented students like Alstrom, Reliance, TCS, L&T, TGB, Siemens etc. In my batch, out of 77 students, 40 to 42 students were placed. Out of them, 2 students were placed with the best package of 45k per month in Alstrom company. The average package provided by the companies is around 30k per month. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Placements: The placement for 2011-15 batch was good. If I re-collect correctly, then above 90% students were placed through campus interviews in core as well as MNCs. The highest salary offered was around 8.0 LPA and the lowest was around 2.30 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Linde, Capgemini, L&T Infotech, Alstom and many others came for recruitment.

I have completed my B.E. in Computer Engineering in GCET, Vidyanagar, Gujarat. At that time, our and other 3 colleges were the only colleges those did not joined in JACPC for admission committee. Our batch was fine and was well placed. But my senior batch was not placed properly, as in India in 2008-10 there was recession time. So believe me that was not college's fault. In most of the colleges of India, not just in Gujarat, placements were not happening. GCET college campus is not that much...

College is really good. Lot of value addition is there as faculty members are the key asset for college. Campus is small compared to other top colleges but its architecture is really good. Plus placements are also good. They had called Microsoft during our time and it was for the 1st time for Gujarat to get companies like Microsoft in on-campus drives. Lots of events happen which are actually very good and helpful.

You should take admission here. I am very satisfied.

Placements: In our course, the previous year there was around 70% placement ratio which was good enough. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. So it was good enough. In our college, an internship is compulsory, so all the students have to do internships.

The college has friendly professors and good placements. Teaching is excellent.

Placements: Seats in mechanical are full. The average package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package offered is 21 LPA. Many top recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, UPL, Birla, Godrej, MG Motors, etc. Almost everyone gets an internship. The college is good, but there are very few girls than boys in the college.

If any student can study at GTU University, then for those students, our GCET college is the best.

Placements: In GCET college, placements are very good. Last year, 444 students out of 560 were placed. Top companies visit our college for placements. In the year 2019, MG Motors will also visit our college to hire students.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Placements are average. It depends upon the performance of students. Most of the students opt for PG and others go for a job. Some look after their family business and the person who want to get placed then they will get it because of it very easy. Overall, the performance of our college is good.

Placements: Placements are a good factor of this college, especially in the soft branch departments like a computer, IT, and EC. Last year all the students of electronics and communication got placed in campus placement. The mass recruiter here is Infosys. Overall the college has good placement ratio.
