Gaighata government Polytechnic 2020 pass-out student review.

Placements: I was a 2020 batch pass-out student. Due to covid, the placement is less, and we are also the first batch of this college. Many students got placed in companies like Centum, Joyson, etc., including me. More placement in the electrical branch as compared to mechanical civil.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available for students, and the canteen was good and clean. Smart classes are available for all branches. The teachers are good. The hostel is available in college, and you can book mess outside of the college. No ground floor sports till now, but it will be ready soon.

Faculty: Our college AICTE-approved college and syllabus are based on WBCTE. The first-year syllabus is the same for all branches, and the teachers are friendly. Teachers are very experienced. Placements are less due to the new college. The college is established in 2017 so development is going on till now.

Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. Candidate appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit.
