This is a college to start your career.

Placements: I got selected for Epic Research, which is in Indore, and I also got selected in Pet Past India Inc, which is at Faridabad. I got selected Pet Past over Epic Research as it belonged to my branch, which is mechanical. It is a good experience working over there.

The infrastructure is good. Faculty members are below average. Placements are the worst.

Placements: The placement is not good, and they brought those companies who don't fill the basis as they told us during the interview. They arranged placement programs which are not helpful for the future interview. HR isn't good at handling the companies. So many of my friends got placements, but they left the job because of the work environment, and the company didn't fulfil their promises as they said. The placements are very worse here.

There is good Wi-Fi, faculty are bad, and there is a weak study environment.

Placements: Placement is poor in our college. I am in the 4th year now. Just two companies came for the placements, and none of them is reputed. One is Etech and the second one is Motivation. The role offered was chat agent. Seniors also have the problem in their companies. Most probably, the companies which came to the campus drive were fake. Our seniors said that they had been informed about different salary structures, but after joining, they were offered less money.

A good college to shape your future.

Placements: I was among the first few to get a placement in a consulting firm. The students should research about the company before sitting in the interview. They should ask their seniors who are working in those locations where the company is located as many fake placements are also done.

Satisfied with the course and knowledge given, but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: No placements were provided for our branch. They have given placements mainly for CSE and electrical branches. They have conducted placements in all the branches. Good companies were invited to the college. Some of our branch boys were selected in those companies.

Dissatisfied because of bad placements in 2016.

Placements: I got KYP infrastructure Pvt Ltd placements, and my senior batch got some companies like HCL, Gammon India, etc. All percent of students got the job in many other companies. The highest package offered was 3.4 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 1.8 lacs per annum by the companies like KYC, Gammon India, HCl, Infosys, etc., and they offered the roles like an engineer and executer to the students. 50 percent to 80 percent of the students got an internship from the college. The 65 thousand is the h...

A quick review of GIET, Bbsr.

Placements: Placement is not very good so far. Good campus drives for IT sector & bad for core. Very poor for civil engineering stream. Some of the placements are fake. But some campus drives are so good that the candidates who got a job got a salary hike in just 9 months.

The college is one of the best colleges in Bhubaneswar and is best for engineering career.

Placements: The placement in the college is not a one day programme. It is done for over 30 companies, starting from the 7th semester. Till the end of the final semester, nearly all the desiring candidates get placed in a multinational and branded company. Core companies also visit the campus for the core branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical. And over 80% of the students get placed.

Overall, the college is nice having little trouble in hostels but it is manageable.

Placements: Companies like Citrix and Data64 have come. The placement is good for electrical and computer science branch. Other branches haven't got any placements yet. Our college brings more companies for electrical and CSE branches as compared to other branches. The highest package was 2 to 3 LPA. Internship is provided to every branch students. We have done our internship from Adityapur Auto Cluster. The stipend offered to the students depends upon their categories.

The worst college a student can ever study. Spoiled the career. Doesn't have a proper management only money suckers. Faculty Members are average. College demands money for everything. No picnic or educational tour in 4 long years. Pros: Hard to find. Cons: Everything.

One of the good colleges in Odisha. Though it needs more campus life improvement but a student will get lots of freedom in his academic year. Faculties are good but not so hardworking. Placements I would say its ok. Still needs more valuation. But it’s a good college as per the standards of students getting in her. Students have to try hard as it’s in lone location. Communication systems need to be improved. Fee is manageable as compared to other college facilities.

Exam pattern is also good. College library is very big. Library is open for 24 * 7. Hostels are also good. But no single room and girl’s hostel are outside the campus. Food provided in hostel is hygienic. Placement preparation is very good. People who want to do CS, ECE and IT should opt for my college. Lot of com...

Hostel facility is available. Hostels are of very good quality with attached washroom and Wi-Fi facility. Canteen is a large building of two floors with TV. Placement is good. If one has talent and is capable enough then surely he/she will get a good job. Cons: Mobile networks- sometimes BSNL 3G network w...
