A better place to study, but not recommended for placement.

Placements: It's quite good but not up to the mark. For better placement, you should prepare by yourself. The highest package our college achieved in 2017 is 4 LPA, and if we talk about the average package, it will be 2-2.5 LPA. In 2017, roughly around 70-75% students got placed.

I am happy for choosing GIFT college for my B.tech.

Placements: The placement is very bad but still need some improvement. The companies are coming, and the maximum companies are not technical. Many MNC's are coming, but that is not up to the mark. The college is also conducting placement oriented courses like java, c, c++, aptitude, GD and mock interviews.

One of the best college in Odisha.

Placements: The placements are good for our batch. Almost, 60% of the students are placed. The salary offered is 3-4 LPA. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Hi-tech visited the campus. The high salary, good placements, and good post are offered to the fresher students. Around, 50% of the students got the internship from the college. The stipend offered is 2-3 LPA.

The college is very good and provides scholar students.

Placements: Most of the companies visited for campus interviews are related to software. The salary package offered by the companies are also good. The students related to mechanical engineering can also sit for the placements. Many famous companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra etc. visit the college to conduct campus interviews. The college conducts job fair. Other college students can also come for the placements. The placement criteria are excellent. The students having average percentage can also get a pl...

Preferable college for engineering aspirants

Placements: Placed in an MNC as a software engineer and got the joining letter with a good package. This college has a good placement record and students were placed in good companies. It is an emerging college day by day and it is gaining quickly in the field of engineering. My batch has a 95 percent placement record and those who are not placed by the college are self-established due to the teaching system.

Most of IT companies are come to our college also core companies will come but few core companies. Some companies name are amazon, wipro, tech mahindra, tcs, tvs, tata etc. They offered average 10 thousand per month. According to our eligibility they offer various Post.

If you are a self study-type student, then this college is the best

Placements: As in today's time getting placed is one of the most important aspects of higher education, this institute does not seem to satisfy candidates, though the chances of getting placed increase if you are in IT work field. Major companies select one or two candidates but it happens in other colleges' campus selection. The salary range is about 8-18,000 for core and varies from 20-40,000 for IT. Overall, the placement percentage changes every year.

A honest review by a 3rd-year student

Placements: Placements are decreasing day by day. I don't know why but the demand of the core industry is decreasing. Our seniors have about 70-80% placements but our last batch had a 60% placement rate. But the placements in other branches related to the IT industry that is MCA and CSE branches were good.

The college you can rely on.

Placements: The placements are good. We were given pre-placement training by the T&P cell. Almost 80% of us were placed. Companies like Tech Mahindra, HGS, Koide India Pvt. Ltd., Sri Ram Panels, Kalyani Technoforge and many others came for recruitment. Several pool campus drives also took place.

Better to do regular graduation instead of studying in this college.

Placements: In this college, placements with low packages are done. Some good companies which recently visited either on or off campus some are HP, TCS, TNS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Collaberra, etc. Overall, 30-40% students get selected, out of which, I think only 5 percent get placed in a good and reputed company. The average salary you may get from this college is 1.70 lakh per annum.

Good placement and good infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, the placements are very good. In our batch, a record of 94% students got placed in different companies such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, Vodafone, HCL, L&T Infotech, Telecom Network Solutions and much more. Coming to me, I got selected in Telecom Network Solutions as a GET. As I am from the ECE background, I was lucky to work with a telecom company. Our college in my time got an award of the best placement given by any institute in Odisha at the education fair which was held in 2015 at...

Infrastructure – College campus is equipped with classrooms, library, labs, sports and hostels. But there is no gym facility. Placements – Placement is average. Few MNC visit the campus. Maximum and good placement is off campus. Highest about 3.6 lpa and lowest may be about 1.5 lpa. Faculty –Few good faculty members with a good academic record. But they try to improve the student and the teaching methodology is like spoon feeding.

I would say apart from the location constraint, the college has all facilities for a top B.Tech college under Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The faculty is really good and always tries to cooperate with students. Infrastructure wise, buildings are interconnected and well designed. The location is almost near Khurda which is too distant from the Bhubaneswar market. Transportation facilities are provided by the management on weekends, but it takes a lot of time to reach the town. Overall,...

This is a good college for study & make a friendly studious environment. Campus is almost 8 km away from Bhubaneswar town. So it’s full of piece for study. The college lab conditions are satisfactory. The library facility is very good, you can study there if you want. Sports facilities are also good.

I have completed B.tech (IT) from this college but I never feel like I am in a good college. At the time of my joining, its infrastructure was worst and it had only 2 floor building but before coming here I had already paid the fee at city office so I had no option but to continue. In first year, I suffer with ragging and on complaining to management they didn’t take any action. Only 3-4 faculty was good. Faculty was so bad that they asked me to take the class just because I was the topper of m...

Placements: 90% of students are placed in this course. The highest package of the course is 9.5 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. And the lowest package is 4 LPA. Many companies like Infosys, tata, maruti, etc. Are offering the package with a high package. It is very exciting.

Affordable fees, good teaching, and placements.

Placements: For the 2024 batch, a recession was going on so no big companies came; 3–4 companies came, but there was zero selection. Some new startups came and took students at a 2–5 LPA with a 2-3 year bond. Total placement is 40%, CSE is 20% and EE, MECH, and civil are 10%. Placement officers are not as active; they are just picking up the company through different job portals .

Placements: About 80% of students get placed every year in the civil branch. There are 49 students in our course. Out of them, about 40 students got placed in good companies. Almost every student gets internship opportunities. The highest salary package offered in the civil branch is 6.8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.9 LPA.
