B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2022
4.2

College is good but very far for Delhi students.
Placements: There was a placement cell at this college. They organise pool campus placements regularly. Many students were placed. The minimum salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 12 LPA which I observed in the drive. Top companies like L&T visited for interviews in our college.
Infrastructure: I am not living in hostel. But infrastructure was good and had a huge space for civil engineering projects. Some of my friends told me that the food was good. Medical facilities were also available. All sports were conducted. Sports day was also celebrated here. Wi-Fi connectivity was available on campus.
Faculty: Teachers were very qualified. They graduated from NIT and IIT. They give training to students about their trade. Exams were not much harder but moderate in nature. Pass percentage according to exams was 33%. When we attend class regularly, we can easily get passing marks.
Other: Best thing about this course was the field visits. More use of modern equipment was provided in engineering. Events were organised annually. Scholarships were provided according to students income or capability.

An honest review about my college.
Placements: Almost 20 to 25% of students got placed. In our college, the highest package was 8 Lacs per annum, the average package is 5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, and many other companies come for placement purposes. 40 to 45% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc., are available on campus. They charge extra fees for a course, IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). This course’s fees are 25,000. The hostel facility is not good as I expected. At the start, the hostel was good, but as the second year started, the management of the hostel became poor due to a large number of students taking admission, and it became hard for the warden to maintain.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful. They help to gain knowledge about life and our subject with real-world examples. Some of the teachers are qualified, like Ph.D., but not all of them have completed their Ph.D. Some teachers are really good at teaching, but not all teachers. Overall, it's average.

B.Tech. in Fire Technology and Safety - Batch of 2026

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Average infrastructure and placement.
Placements: Around 50-60% of the students studying in college are placed successfully and hired by the good companies. Some of the recruiting companies that are coming to our college are Bajaj, Denzo Private Limited, and many others. The highest package is around 5 lakhs per annum. Our college offers varieties of degrees, such as B.Tech degree in Fire technology and safety, computer science, MBAs, BBAs in architecture, town planning, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our colleges is average; we can see big classrooms that are occupied by students. There is one library where you can find all of your books related to study materials and exams. The quality of food available in the mess is not so great; sometimes we found a tiny animal in one of our foods. There is one canteen, and occasionally sports and games activities are held.
Faculty: Yes, most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; they have done there in graduation from reputed universities. The teaching qualities are also good, but sometimes they lack behind technology. If technology can be improved, we can have a better teaching quality in our college. As of now, the college has been upgraded to autonomous, which means the college can itself conduct exams; they can prepare exams, check exams, and also conduct activities in the college only. Semester exams are average, but I want to mention that most of the students cheat in the session exams when the teacher helps students cheat in their respective subjects. But the final exams are very difficult to cheat; everything is strict, and the question papers are coming from previous years.
Other: It's not my personal opinion about choosing the course; actually, one of our relatives was doing a B.Tech in fire and technology from Indore, so he suggested I take this course as the course has zero competition and a great advantage in the future. Also, we have high demand in fire technology and safety. I wish placement can be improved; big companies also should come to my college to have a great package. Events, festivals, and campus crowds are conducted regularly, and extracurricular activities are also held regularly.

The college is average, but the location of the college is not good.
Placements: The placement cell is very poor. They don't offer any good jobs. They bring very bad companies, so they don't give good placements. The package for the placements is also not as high as they show and present on the website. The main placements are given to the B.Tech students, and the rest of the courses suffer from bad placements.
Infrastructure: The facility is very poor. The college is situated at a very bad place, between the farms. The transportation near the college is very bad as it is away from the city. I live in the college hostel, and the hostel facility is also bad. The food they give is not good. Sometimes, there is no drinking water for 2-3 days.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is kind of okay or I can say average, as the knowledge provided is good, but the teaching quality is not as expected by the college. The exams they conduct don’t go well every time, due to bad faculty members. But the college is average in teaching quality.

Gitam College: Not Good Infrastructure, Not Good Placement, and No Good Faculty.
Placements: Very few students get placement, and the percentage is even lower for MCA students. There is placement in B. Tech, but only 30% of its students get placement. Placement is available only in startup companies, and it happens in one or two good companies too. These are the colleges that provide internships.
Infrastructure: The college library is good, but there are very few smart classrooms, which should be there. The hostel mess food is very bad; it is not worth eating, and there is no medical facility in the hostel. There is also no facility for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers in the MCA course are very good and helpful, but they do not know how to teach. They just make you write from notes and nothing else. You cannot get a job in any company by studying here; you will have to study on your own if you want to get a job.
Other: No other program is good; everything is just for the sake of it, and whatever program there is, everyone has to pay money for it.

Average college with average placement .
Placements: The percentage of placement in my college is around 20%. The highest package is around 8 LPA. The top recruits are Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc. Around 20% of students got internships in different companies like Wipro, TCS, and IBM. Top roles offered are like salesman, etc.
Infrastructure: For my course, facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms, a library, etc. are available for all students. There is also a hostel for students who live far from college. The facilities provided in the hostel are average. It provides facilities like Wi-Fi, food, three-person rooms, etc. The food is average, and the canteen is available till 4 pm. The facilities for sports are less.
Faculty: Some teachers in my course were helpful as they teach about both my subject and about future opportunities. Some of the teachers have Ph.D.s and are qualified. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is average, and it does make students somewhat ready for the industry. The semester exams are passable even with one week's study.
Other: The reason I chose this course is because I wanted to enter the IT sector, and I had done commerce. The best thing about my course is that I get to experience coding and other things. My college organizes fests like fresher's party, achievers, convocation, etc.

You can get admission without JEE-Mains, however, then you may need to take HSTES to get into this college. You can not get into this college without an entrance exam. However, there may be a possibility of getting a management quota seat, for that you need to inquire from the admission office.
