Infrastructure and facilities are really good, and faculty members are kind-hearted.
Placements: About 280 students are placed, and some leave course after one or 1.5 years. The highest salary is Rs. 55,000 per year, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per year. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). We are in the middle of the course, so students have not received any internships. Roles offered include Web Developer, Data Scientist, Hardware Engineer, and Cyber Security Specialist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is average in college, so students will not worry about it. Labs are good, but their computers are not up to date, and software is outdated. The library is okay for issuing books for courses, but sometimes the books are unavailable, so we have to study from the notes provided by professors. Hostel has one of the best infrastructures in the college. There are two to three single beds in one room, and there are separate buildings for boys' and girls' hostels. Food quality is average, and snacks are provided in the evening. Medical facilities are not available on a large scale, but they treat wounds and injuries and provide basic medicines. Sports day events are held, featuring games like cricket, chess, and others.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. students can clear their queries and doubts by talking to teachers. Teachers are kind-hearted, and their teaching quality is good. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study the subjects or topics carefully. The pass percentage is about 33%.
Other: I want to become a web developer, which is why I chose this course. The course is good itself, so I don't think I need to improve anything. there are several events in college, like Freshers, Achievers, and other events.

B.Tech. in Fire Technology and Safety - Batch of 2026
4.2
5Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
B.Tech in fire technology and safety from GITAM is a good option.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placed through college placements every year, especially for our course, which is an underrated course with high industrial demand. The average salary package is around 5 lacs, but it can range from 3 to 8 lacs depending on our skills, extra merit, and overall personality. This year, all students with no backlogs got internships at various places. For me, it was DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation). Future job opportunities are not limited to one field. We can also join services like state fire service at various levels, from fireman to station officer. Alternatively, we can join as an assistant safety officer in any PSU or private firm as a fresher.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are spacious enough for us to spend our four years in comfort. The mess food is edible, but don't expect it to be like mom's cooking. The college campus is decent with proper desks, whiteboards, and projectors, but no proper sports facilities. We can bring our own equipment and play on the college grounds. The library contains all the books we need for our academics, but no other books.
Faculty: The teachers at Ganga Institute of Technology and Management are freshers and lack somewhat deep knowledge. However, they are qualified enough to prepare students for exams. The curriculum is somewhat relevant because the course has more of a practical aspect than the theoretical part. With various internship opportunities and ground operations practice, students are prepared for the industry. The semester exams can be easily cleared with minimal study because the course focuses on practical aspects, leaving room for students to perform in the semester exams. The pass percentage is around 80%, and if we study just one week before the exam, we can pass with flying colors.
Other: Ganga Institute of Technology and Management offers a comprehensive course that covers many aspects of safety and fire hazards, preparing you for a diverse industry. The course is underrated but in high demand, making it easy to land a decent job without any struggle. College life is fun, although there are few extracurricular activities and only two fests throughout the year. The fees were INR 70,000 when I enrolled and have now increased to INR 78,000 per year. I am not a hosteler, but the hostel fee is approximately INR 1,00,000 per year for an air-conditioned room.

B.Tech. in Fire Technology and Safety - Batch of 2026

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Average infrastructure and placement.
Placements: Around 50-60% of the students studying in college are placed successfully and hired by the good companies. Some of the recruiting companies that are coming to our college are Bajaj, Denzo Private Limited, and many others. The highest package is around 5 lakhs per annum. Our college offers varieties of degrees, such as B.Tech degree in Fire technology and safety, computer science, MBAs, BBAs in architecture, town planning, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our colleges is average; we can see big classrooms that are occupied by students. There is one library where you can find all of your books related to study materials and exams. The quality of food available in the mess is not so great; sometimes we found a tiny animal in one of our foods. There is one canteen, and occasionally sports and games activities are held.
Faculty: Yes, most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; they have done there in graduation from reputed universities. The teaching qualities are also good, but sometimes they lack behind technology. If technology can be improved, we can have a better teaching quality in our college. As of now, the college has been upgraded to autonomous, which means the college can itself conduct exams; they can prepare exams, check exams, and also conduct activities in the college only. Semester exams are average, but I want to mention that most of the students cheat in the session exams when the teacher helps students cheat in their respective subjects. But the final exams are very difficult to cheat; everything is strict, and the question papers are coming from previous years.
Other: It's not my personal opinion about choosing the course; actually, one of our relatives was doing a B.Tech in fire and technology from Indore, so he suggested I take this course as the course has zero competition and a great advantage in the future. Also, we have high demand in fire technology and safety. I wish placement can be improved; big companies also should come to my college to have a great package. Events, festivals, and campus crowds are conducted regularly, and extracurricular activities are also held regularly.

Good infrastructure, placements, and faculty, but transportation and activities need improvement
Placements: Placement in my department is not that much I am not saying that they are not getting higher the Suraj but it is that because of skill, a student is capable to get that job. The highest package in my college is 22 LPA, the lower is 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh. We have received in internship in last two semester for the experience of real work place.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my course and department is very good for example the Wi-Fi is working 24 hour and the classroom is very neat and clean and infrastructure of classroom branches are good and library is up to the work highly recommended. But if I am talking about the hostel, I am not a regular students so I can't give review on that but the food quality of my canteen is good and infrastructure of canteen is not that much. Good rush is there.
Faculty: Teacher are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching method is very different and I like that. Course is relevant but we need some more experience. College provides internship, it is enough to make student ready for industry. The semester exams are not difficult but the examination center and the exam is difficult and I like that.
Other: I am not aware about that I need this course but someone recommend me that's why I choose. The best thing in my course is I like management studies. And for the improvement I need some practical example and practical classes of real workplace. Event, fest, campus, crowd, connectivity, campus extra curriculum all things are good and I like the scholarship department because I belongs to SC category and I am receiving scholarship from there.

Excellent and honest review.
Placements: Almost half of the students get placement from college. The average package of placement is 500000 per year, and it also depends on the student's skills. Many companies visit here every year. A job fair is also conducted for students so that students can participate in it.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, labs, and projector facilities are available in the classroom. Hostel life is very good at every point in hostel. CCTV cameras are installed, and a gym facility is also provided by the college to hostel students and sports activities.
Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative, and all the teachers are good at their respective subjects. Teaching quality is awesome. Exam difficult levels are not too high, and 40 percentage marks are required for passing subjects as per university criteria.

It really a good and a decent college with proper faculty and facilities provided.
Placements: 70% of the students were placed. The highest package was 10 lakhs, and the average package was 4-5 lakhs. International companies were also interested in recruiting our graduates. In addition, 80% of the students got internships, and the rest got others opportunities. These were good and very precious moments in our lives, and we appreciate the efforts of the college administration in making this happen.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was awesome and well-developed. Wi-Fi was available in the hostel and dorms, and the speed and network were good. The quality of the food was okay, but it was good enough that we ate it in our homes. There were also several types of games available in our college.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful regarding our studies and exams. They have a lot of knowledge in their subjects and are always willing to help students. The semester exams were not easy., so we had to study hard to pass. If we hadn't studied, we wouldn't have a future.
Other: I want to pursue my dreams to become an engineer and have to develop my country.
