Gargi college, Delhi University
Placements: Placements in the college is really good. All big companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY come to the college for placement. 20-25 people get placed with a minimum package of 3 lakh to maximum 22 lakhs. I think it is really good for a graduate student. One must try placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is really good, small and cozy. The cafe are really good and will be your best leisure place. The college is equipped with modern classrooms, many of which are air-conditioned, with projectors and smart boards for interactive learning. The library is well-stocked, with an extensive collection of books, journals, and online resources. It also provides access to digital libraries for e-resources. The laboratories (science, computer, etc.) are modern and regularly updated with the necessary equipment for practical work.
Faculty: Gargi College follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as per the University of Delhi's framework. This system provides flexibility for students to choose courses from a range of electives while pursuing their core subjects.
The curriculum is designed to give a comprehensive understanding of each subject, including theoretical and practical knowledge.

Overall, the college is very nice. Just the canteen’s hygiene has to be taken care of.
Placements: In 2023, out of all the streams, 60% of the commerce student got placed. The average package offered was 5.70 LPA l, the lowest ranged between 3-5 LPA and the highest was 21 LPA in 2023. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Bank Of American, Wipro, Genpact and DE shaw & company. In my course, 60% of the students got placed in the above companies and others. Most of them got placed in Deloitte and Bank of America. Top roles offered in my course were in Marketing and as sales manager, HR, auditor, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a very good infrastructure. We have good Wi-Fi facility too. The classrooms are good and even the benches are comfortable. We have 3 computer labs with good working systems. The library is also quite big and peaceful for studying. The faculty is very good. Overall, it's a very nice college. Only the canteen isn't good in terms of hygiene. We don't have any hostel facility.
Faculty: The teachers are gems and they are very knowledgeable. Our core teachers have more than 20 years of experience. Both male and female teachers are very helpful. They even take feedbacks from us so that they can teach in a better way. The semester exams aren't tough at all. In a class of 60 students, only 2-3 students fail. In Maths, the failing percentage is a little high, but overall, the exams aren't hard.
Other: I chose this course because it was in my interest. Since I have been learning about business, company, etc. so this field interests me. I have tried teaching at home, taking tuition classes for around one year but that didn’t interest me. So I'm studying B.Com (Hons) for now. Let’s see in the future if anything interests me. The fest are amazing. The students council called Nikhil D'Souza in 2024. We enjoyed a lot.

This is a good college and I would recommend it to people.
Placements: I have heard that the placements are good too from the seniors; being a first-year, I can not comment much on placements. Reputable companies participate in the college as the placement cell of Gargi works very well in these terms and tries to bring out the best companies out there.
Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are well-equipped and the library has a good selection of books, although one limitation is that the library closes around 4 p.m., which according to me is a little early as students like to study in the library till longer hours. The infrastructure of the college gives you authentic vibes with the red brick walls too.
Faculty: The faculty is great and the professors are very helpful. Their teaching methods are also quite good, although they can differ depending on what subjects you are going to study. As for the commerce department, the teachers have a great deal of knowledge about their subject.
Other: The campus crowd is very positive and helpful. Seniors are very friendly, too. The campus surroundings are very clean and good. There is a bus stop just in front of the college and the nearest metro station is just 5 minutes away.

Satisfied with good placements, amazing faculty, fair infrastructure, and great crowd.
Placements: The highest package offered is 32 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include Bain & Company, Deloitte, and many more. Internships are accessible to everyone as long as they take the initiative. I have no clear idea about the top roles offered, but consulting is one that many pursue.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are good, though better lighting and air conditioning for summer would be beneficial. The quality and variety of food are average. The sports facilities are really nice, with all kinds of equipment available. There is a great ground where everyone can play. We also have an extracurricular activity period on different days, so everyone can find time for activities beyond studies.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely qualified and very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't fully prepare students for the industry since more focus should be on personality development rather than bookish information. Semester exams vary in difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because it has a huge scope for employment after graduation. However, I wish there was more practical knowledge, as there is too much focus on theory, which might not be as useful in the industry. The campus crowd is really nice—everyone is well-spoken, kind, and considerate. The surroundings are friendly, and I feel we should be less restricted when it comes to events or other activities in college.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my course, the college Environment is also great.
Placements: Gargi College provides ample opportunities to students for various programs, and there is a placement cell in the college. There are top companies, i.e., KPMG, Wipro, PWC, and Zomato, that come for placement every year. Gargi College is a well-known college for women's education and offers courses in various fields such as arts and humanities, commerce, science, and education for women. Gargi College, University of Delhi, has a good reputation for courses like B.A., B.Com. (Hons.), B.Com., and B.Sc. The highest package is INR 21.25 LPA, and the lowest package is INR 10.35 LPA.
Infrastructure: The area of the college is large. But the infrastructure is average, as there's still a lack of rooms for classes, and facilities for water, canteens, fans, etc. still need to be developed. However, Gargi College has big fields for basketball, tennis and volleyball.
Faculty: The teachers at Gargi College are very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff does great work to make the students learn about the subject and also help them feel confident in class. They are very friendly, and thus, the students are not hesitant to ask anything. The exams are moderate to difficult, but students still perform well in academics.
Other: Gargi College is a very great college for women. The area is great as well as providing various opportunities for its students to showcase their talent. Gargi College events and festivals are always the best. There's a good campus life. The course I chose, B.Com. Honours, is great and I'm enjoying my life here at Gargi College.

Satisfied ewith overall college's faculty, curriculum and syllabus.
Placements: As a 2nd year student from b.com(h), I am very much satisfied with the placement oppurtunities provide by our college. The career service department has been very helpful in providing guidance and resources, such as resume workshops and internship fair.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quiet old in our campus, we even lack lifts and have small pocket sized rooms too but, on an average can say that it can be an average it is a good campus but it does require some development and modification in rooms and overall building.
Faculty: Faculty is really nice the teachers are helpful and supportive unlike other colleges. They are eager to help whenever you want.
Curriculum is good too but to NEP sometimes it really gets difficult to cope with 7 subjects and it reallly becomes a headache for us students. But, overall it does help in our future.
