Best College for Commerce Students.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students in my course were placed. The highest package provided to us is around 3.5-4 LPA and the lowest is around 1-2 LPA. The top recruitment companies were Godrej, TCS, and Federal Bank. Many students are doing internships either through online programs or in companies that visited our college. The top roles were that of an account manager, project manager, and business process services, among others.

All I can say is that I had a good experience at this college in these 3 years. And I'm satisfied.

Placements: Though the college is a reputed institution, it is least known for its campus placements. There is a placement cell (over WhatsApp), which is not very reliable. For placements and all, you'll have to apply somewhere else, as I've heard from some professors.

Things you need to know before going in to Gauhati Commerce College.

Placements: The number of students getting selected is a handful with a negligible package. The highest to lowest package is around 500000 per annum to 150000 per annum. The top recruiting companies are mostly banks and other insurance corporations. The top roles offered are those of managers and other junior accountants.

Review of Gauhati Commerce College.

Placements: The placements are very low. Only the top-ranked students get placements, and sometimes they don't. I haven't seen any companies coming to college. I don't know. I really don't know anything about the placement programs held by the college. Not good in placements.

The final piece of information you will need to decide your dream college.

Placements: There are only a small number of students who get placed after completing their bachelor's. The highest till now is around 7 to 8 LPA, and the lowest is around 2.5 to 3 LPA. Most of the companies that hire are in insurance or banking, which require accounting. An internship from a college is very rare and only one or two are selected.

The best and one of top commerce college in northeast region for good quality and fabulous campus.

Placements: Gauhati Commerce College is one of the best colleges in the region that provides one of the best courses along with internship facilities. Every now and then, one interested can join, and moreover, after completing, one can apply for placement. The placement is not that good, with an average annual package of 2-3 LPA, though most top companies do ground visits and interviews for selection. One can create the best career around the region. Only keep a check on your CGPA for better selection in pl...

The faculties are qualified and knowledgeable; most of them are authors; they even published books.

Placements: The students of B.Com. don't get any placement, but the students of MBA get placement from companies like banking, finance, and mutual funds that come for campus placement. Most of the students in MBA got placed in the banking sector and only the students in MBA and BBA got placement.

I recommend students to take admission to this college.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students get placed in our college. Our college did not offer any salary package rather than MBA. There is no recruiting company. Since it is a reputed college, students who try for off-campus placements get placed easily.

Review of Gauhati Commerce College.

Placements: Our college does not offer good placements for B.Com courses. MBA block has a placement cell where you can expect placements at small and mid-level companies. Internships are provided. There are CA firms offering internships.

Upset regarding the placement and teaching quality but the good campus life.

Placements: Around 25% of students were getting placed in the B.Com course. The highest salary is about 4 Lacs, and the lowest is approximately 60,000 to 70,000 per year. Most of the students get offered around 2,00,000 per year. Top recruiting companies are ITC, Reliance etc. Internship opportunities are equal to zero as the companies show little interest—in student job positions like accountants, managers etc.

It is a good commerce college.

Placements: I am not in a position to say about placements as I'm currently pursuing UG course in the same college. I've not graduated yet but I would surely tell that most of the students who did graduation from our college have got pretty good placements in some well-known MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, etc.
