It's not worth it if you want to do BBA here.

Placements: There are no placements available from the college. They won't provide internships, even though they will make them compulsory.

Overall, the college is very good.

Placements: The placements are good, and only the students who secured above 80% are placed in this college. The highest package offered is above 1 Lac, and the lowest salary is 25,000. Above 75% of students got internships from my course. The top recruiters for my course are Tata, Maruti, Star Cement etc.

I'm satisfied with the college. We have good infrastructure facilities.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in our course is about 40%. The highest salary package that was offered to us was Rs. 70,000 per month, the lowest salary package was Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average salary package was Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 per month. Recruiting companies are nestled every day, etc. Students got internships in law at this college. The top role is just of student in the college.

It's a college with good facilities, exams, and sports.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not so good in our college. They should improve this system. In terms of the percentage of students placed, in my view, it will be around 2%. That's why our college should improve upon this system.

I am satisfied with the average placements, good infrastructure, and the best location.

Placements: GCC placements are not that good. Only a few students are selected for placements, and the salary is also average. Companies like MRF and others come to our campus for recruitment. Roles like assistant manager, sub-orientates, etc., are offered.

Even if there is 5-10% of students present in the class, the professors never miss the classes.

Placements: The campus placement in this college is relatively high among the other colleges in Guwahati. Students from the 5th semester become eligible for campus placement in several cases. The companies like Axis Bank, Canara Bank, Nestle Ltd, Bata, etc., approach campus placements. The highest salary packages go from 8 LPA to 10 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA to 6 LPA. About 30-45% of students get placements either from campus or outside the campus after completing their degree seri...

One of the most prominent commerce colleges of Northeast is Gauhati Commerce College.

Placements: Most placements are for the B.A. and M.B.A. students. For B.Com, there are less options for placements and careers. It is a prestigious college in the Northeast. The degree received in this college is more useful than in other colleges. The reason to take admission to GCC is it has maximum benefits.

Placements: About 15% of students were placed at our college. The highest package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, Nestle, Reliance, etc. About 30% of students got internships in audit firms. The top roles offered were sales executive, marketing manager, and manager.

I am satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, and placements of our college.

Placements: Every semester has 600-700 students. Almost 79% to 100% of students were placed in our college. But the reservation is there. ITC and Tata Motors are major recruiting companies. Around 50% of students got internships in the placement programmes. Leadership, communication, and HRM roles are provided under the proper guidance. There are various programmes that are also held to value-add to our lives.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The BBA course does not lead to any placements or jobs directly after graduation but, students who have passed out from Gauhati Commerce College are in a good position for their careers as entrepreneurs, managers, bank employees, etc. This course gives a good opportunity to bring new and innovative ideas to the students.

I am dissatisfied because of the newly appointed teachers.

Placements: Almost 620 students are studying in our course, we didn't get the job, so don't know the package. Our college is best for skill programs but not so good for placements. The principal is not student-friendly. Some teachers are nice. During any admission, you gonna suffer the most.

I am very happy for supportive faculty members and facilities which are available in this college.

Placements: At Guwahati Commerce College, placement facilities are available for BBA, and MBA students. Our partners are ONGC, Nestle, and many other companies. For B.Com students, there is no placement facility. If you pass out from Guwahati Commerce College then you will get a good job because Guwahati Commerce College is one of the most prestigious colleges and the number one commerce college in North East India.

I am satisfied by the teachings of the teachers and professors in this college.

Placements: I have not seen a student getting placement in this college till now. So I would like to rate with only 1 star. They should take necessary steps in giving placements to the students, as it is a government college. So I would like to say that the placements in this college are below average.

Overall, it is a good place to pursue commerce.

Placements: Placements have not been provided yet for our batch. Overall it is a good place to study, and I am sure good companies will visit here soon for our batch. Moreover, from the placements report of the previous year, it has been seen that the placements are good with an average salary of about Rs. 15,000 per month.

It has well-trained and skilled faculty members.

Placements: Students have to pursue additional courses in order to get placement. Since this is a graduate degree, the college does not provide campus placement. After pursuing this degree, a student is eligible for all kinds of competitive exams. For more information, you can visit the official college website.
