It is the best commerce college in the city.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our course is 70%. The salary packages offered are low. Top recruiting companies here are Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, Ernst & Young and MNCs. Top roles offered are banker, accountant, international banking, insurance services, SBI Clerk, SBI PO, financial consultant, managers, etc.

Review of Gauhati commerce college.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. But last year BBA students do get to work with local companies as internships. The college arranges internships for all the students, and they can choose. There are various government scholarships available to students, some are more than 100% of the total fees.

The environment of the college is quite positive.

Placements: The placements are very negligible. It is more or less non-existent. Very few people get placed by pursuing B.Com here. The ones getting jobs are below par. However, there may be few exceptions, but in general, it is very bad. People should not have many expectations regarding this.

It has been 1 year I joined this college, and it's worth it.

Placements: About 10%-20% of students get placements after postgraduation from our college. The highest salary package offered is around 8 LPA-10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA-5 LPA. There are many recruiting companies for B.Com students like Google, SAP Labs, American Express, Axis Bank, etc.

I just loved my 5 years of college life here.

Placements: There are no placements for B.Com students. Our college has MBA and M.Com courses, and they get placements after post-graduation. The placement rate of postgraduate students is 30%-50%. Internships are available only for postgraduate students.

It is one of the best commerce colleges in northeast India.

Placements: Students who score above 75% in higher secondary are placed in our B.Com Hons course. There is no such salary package in our B.Com Hons course. Companies recruit students usually after the completion of a masters degree in our college. There is no such internship from our college, and students do internships on their own. No such roles are provided after the B.Com Hons course.

I am satisfied with 5 years of college life.

Placements: There are no placements in our college for B.Com students. For MBA and M.Com students, the placement percentage is 40-50%. The highest salary package offered is almost 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is almost 4-5 LPA. Almost 20-30% of the post-graduate students got internships.

One of the best commerce college.

Placements: The placement in our college is very rare. 20-30% of students hardly get placements after B.Com. And after pursuing M.Com and MBA in our college 40% students get placements. 10+20% students get internships. Coming to package, the highest package is almost 7-10 Lacs and lowest is 3-4 Lacs.

Our college is improving the quality of imparting commercial knowledge.

Placements: Due to this situation, we did not come across any placement opportunities. Still, I heard from seniors that placements are not that great as very few students get the opportunity. Top companies come to recruit. I want to be a part of the placement session soon.

It is the best commerce college.

Placements: I'm a student of B.Com 6th semester with management as a major subject. The placement percentage of our course is average and is almost 30-40%. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is almost 5 LPA. Around 60-70% of the students get internships. It is a beneficiary for students if they pursue master's degrees like M.Com and MBA after B.Com. They get good placements and salary packages.

It is an amazing college to get a BBA degree.

Placements: Placements are given to students from higher secondary to MBA and M.Com degrees. Only roles and jobs are different from one educational level to another. Various companies like Flipkart, Vishal, Bigbazar, etc., and banks like HDFC, ICICI and Axis Bank are some recruiters of the past years. Almost 95% of the students got successful placements. From BBA, you can get an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month from a company.

A college with great capabilities to do well overall.

Placements: Despite being the best college for Commerce in the entire North East region, the college can not manage to bring in the offers for its students. On an average 20-30% of the batch gets placed in companies doing sales job or back end office jobs. But, in the subsequent batches, there is a change with good companies coming in for placement but the ratio is still very minuscule.

A really good environment and a good infrastructural facility makes it worth mentioning.

Placements: Placements depends upon the quality of a particular student. A student who has a good knowledge and marks gets good placement with a starting salary of 25000 pm. Icici bank, axis etc. Are some of the top recruiting companies as far as I remember. Approximately 30 percent got placement.

Top Notch college for higher secondary and basic degree courses in the field of commerce.

Placements: There a fairly good placement opportunities for the post graduate students. But not upto the mark. Percentage of students placed in master degree courses are around 60-70%. Mediocre level income is offered to the students. The basic fact about this college is that it is a government college and is best suited for undergraduate and higher secondary courses. The post graduate courses are non government and there the students get mediocre placements from companies like Vestige, Vodafone etc. For a ...

Really very good infrastructure.

Placements: There were no such facilities such as internship and placements. So no exposure to any kind of practical knowledge only there were field trips of 1 day and also there were only projects which we have to do on our own. And also they recruit very less students There are no proper placement or training that is provided to students.

Highly satisfied with the college and it's outcomes.

Placements: Since M.Com course is a traditional course and is not a professional course, therefore there is not any campus recruitment or college placement. Placements do not come for M.Com Course. But if a student has a good academic record then the college itself provide an opportunity of employment in the junior sections, I. e the graduation or higher secondary section. Moreover colleges and institutes, like the KC Das Commerce College, NERIM or Icon Commerce College provides recruitment to the students ...

I am dissatisfied with the facilities of GCC. Overall, it is the best commerce college.

Placements: Almost 5% of the students got placed from B.Com. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. ITC is the top recruiting company. BPO roles are mostly offered to B.Com students. There are no internships, and none of the companies visited our campus for internships.
