This is my experience at our college.
Placements: Placements offered at the campus are good. Top companies visit our campus to offer placements. 100% placements are provided. The average salary package offered is 11 LPA. Most of the students are being placed every year.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well-equipped with modern teaching aids and equipment. Computer labs have high-speed internet and updated computer systems for research and course-work. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with comfortable rooms, clean washrooms, and recreational space.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty nice here. We have a mentor for a group of students to discuss our issues. During each semester, students are allowed to provide course feedback, which is taken into consideration.

Hub of engineers at Gaya College.
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students get on-campus placements in this college. The rest have to apply for off-campus placements. Overall 50-60% of students get internships. Top companies who visit our college are Cisco and Wipro. The highest salary package offered in our college is 18 LPA and the average salary package offered is about 3 LPA - 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very impressive. It is newly made. The hostel buildings are also very new and good-looking. The mess food is hygienic and average in taste. The medical facilities are a little bit poor. Students have to go outside for some serious medical issues. Overall everything seems good here.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for students. They always clear doubts of students. They also allow students to come in their cabins for any doubts. The course curriculum is very relevant to our career. Semester exams are not very difficult. They are easy to pass.

Need more company tie-ups for growth
Placements: 30-40 % is selected. The highest package is 12 lakh and the lowest is 2.5 lakh. At least 80-90% get internships in government as well as private companies ( BHAWAN NIRMAN, NEW STARTUP COMPANIES).
Infrastructure: Classroom and laboratory are good. All types of lab equipment are available. Wi-Fi is not proper. The library has less capacity. In the hostel, infrastructure is good, the quality of food in the mess is average, and the canteen is good. No medical facilities or doctors are available. All games are played.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, but the quality is below average. Yes, the curriculum is relevant and can help to get into the industry. Mid-semester exams are easy; end semesters take a week before exams to crack with good marks. The pass percentage is 85% .

Approximately 50 to 60 percent of students got internships from the college. Overall, the placement cell is very active here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good; it is spread over 82 acres. The academic building is also very newly made. Library facilities are very good; anybody can go to the library for studies, and you can allot any book on your library card. The food quality of the hostel is on the average side—not too good, not too bad.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are very knowledgeable. They do not just teach the academic syllabus, but they also spread general knowledge. The course curriculum is very much relevant to our field. Semester exams are not very difficult. You have to get 33 percent only to pass.

Gaya College of Engineering - One of the top colleges of Bihar.
Placements: Around 20-30 % of students are placed in the Electrical department. Most of the students opt for higher studies or government jobs. Recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, etc. visit our campus. Some of the sales companies visit our college and offer a basic LPA in their companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has two big academic buildings and two engineering workshops. There are five buildings for the hostel, three are for boys and two for girls. Hostels are big and the environment inside the hostel is too good. The food in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Faculty in this college are well experienced and helpful. Course curriculum is best for engineering including mid-semester and final semester exams. The duration of each semester is six months long, but the duration is reduced for each semester to four months due to additional activities.
Other: I chose this college for my B.Tech course. Fees are very low. Our project course should be improved. More hackathons to be introduced.
