Here placement and college life is very poor.
Placements: I have admitted that in 2022, in EEE (electrical and electronics engineering), placement in the core company is not all. Some placement is available in TCS. Some students have an inclination towards CS, or if they move to do a job at the company. I personally recommend you please do not take admission to any Bihar government college.
Infrastructure: Very poor condition; Wi-fi is not available in labs, classrooms, and even the library. I had lived in a hostel for the first six months; hostel facilities are up to par; sometimes there is a little bit of a problem with food. There are no medical facilities, even a first aid kit.
Faculty: All faculty had no previous experience, and they are not fit to take a lecture in any engineering college. Anyone who wants to choose the GCE as an option in their college, I strongly recommend you please do not take admission in any Bihar government college.

Everything you should know about GCE Gaya before becoming part of the family .
Placements: In this college, there are many students who get placed in my course. The highest package would be 700,000 and the lowest package would be 100,000. The average package would be 350,000. The top recruiting companies are NTPC, Wipro, and Hitech. Almost half the students get internship chances at this college with a good stipend. Companies like LNT are the most likely to offer internship opportunities .
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure was newly made and all the old buildings were discontinued. We have all new labs, academic buildings, and hostels with full high-speed Wi-Fi support. We get three days of non-vegetarian food at night in our mess and all other days of vegetarian food. The food is not the best but it is not bad and perfectly edible .
Faculty: We have highly qualified senior teachers in our college and they are best at teaching. But we have some newly joined teachers who have the degree but lack the teaching experience as of now but with time they will also learn. The course curriculum is very theoretical and not practical, which is not good for real-life work. We also have regular exams in the college midterm and endterm, which are not very hard if you focus on studying and complete the syllabus on time .
Other: I chose this course because it is hard and a challenge and I like challenges. Something that would be better is having access to more practical knowledge. We have regular festivals and other activities happening in the college campus and everyday is fun for everyone .

Gaya College of Engineering - One of the top colleges of Bihar.
Placements: Around 20-30 % of students are placed in the Electrical department. Most of the students opt for higher studies or government jobs. Recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, etc. visit our campus. Some of the sales companies visit our college and offer a basic LPA in their companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has two big academic buildings and two engineering workshops. There are five buildings for the hostel, three are for boys and two for girls. Hostels are big and the environment inside the hostel is too good. The food in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Faculty in this college are well experienced and helpful. Course curriculum is best for engineering including mid-semester and final semester exams. The duration of each semester is six months long, but the duration is reduced for each semester to four months due to additional activities.
Other: I chose this college for my B.Tech course. Fees are very low. Our project course should be improved. More hackathons to be introduced.

Our college provides great faculty members but infrastructure is not good.
Placements: There are huge placements in branches like mechanical, civil, and EEE. There are no placements in CSE branch. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Voltas, HCL, etc. All students got offline and online internships in companies like BSNL and Tata. Teachers focus on coding for the CSE branch.
Infrastructure: During courses, Wi-Fi, projector, library facilities and well cleaned classroom and other areas. Hostel are so good and buliding of hostel are attractive. Mess facilities, medicle facilities also available. Mess gets him to good healthy food in every day.
Faculty: Teacher arranges doubt session everyday. Teacher have higher degree like Ph.D. M.Tech from IIT college and have teaching experience. As I am CSE student so am actually focusing on coding so teacher provides good resource for study and learbing purpose. There is 8 semester and a midsem sem exam is completed for each semester. Almost all student got passed semester.
Other: I chose CSE branch because there is huge scope in that course as all the system is running through computer network. All works are done with involvement of software. There should atleast improvement in coding to all student for getting placement point of view.

I am Naman Singh, a student of the 1st year, and my experience is great.
Placements: Average 80 to 85 percent of students were placed last year. The highest package was 20 lakhs, and the lowest package was 12 lakhs. Last year, a minimum of 55% of students got internships. The EEE branch is one of the best branches of my college, Gaya College of Engineering. This branch offers some of the best roles in electrical engineering and related companies.
Infrastructure: The campus provides high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the academic buildings, ensuring students can stay connected for research and online resources. Well-equipped laboratories are available for practical sessions, featuring modern equipment and technology relevant to the course. Specialized labs cater to different subjects, enhancing hands-on learning.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most have practical experience that enhances the learning experience. The curriculum is mostly relevant and aligned with industry standards. It includes practical components that prepare students for real-world challenges.
Other: In this course, the crowd was very low. I chose this course because of my passion for technology and electrical engineering. The rapid advancements in the field intrigued me, and I wanted to be part of this evolution.
