Can be very much improved in all fields.

Placements: Placements are according to the type of branches. Branches like textile have almost 100% placement. But other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical have less placements. And those who are placed also they are getting around 10 to 15 k per month.

Good engineering college.

Placements: The college is very good with well-educated staff, and the placements are also good. Every year, many companies visit our college and hire students for their company. So, many students were selected in various branches, and they are well-placed in well-known companies like Infosys, Swaraj Tractor, Maruti Suzuki and many more.

Overall, I enjoyed my college life. All things were good. Nice faculty, good environment.

Placements: Our college consists of many departments. For civil engineering department, the placements were average. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 6.60LPA. The overall placement percentage is around 30-40%. The company L&T visited our campus.

Dissatisfied in regard of placement.

Placements: Placement for my batch was not up to the mark, whereas placements for my junior and senior batch were quite good, as Trident came for campus placement. They offered a package of 9 LPA to the selected students. Although a lot of small-scale companies visited for placement, the packages were dissatisfying. Placement cell was not very active during my course. Companies like Centre, Shiva Spinners, etc., visited for placements, but the packages they offered were very low.

Finally infrastructures are best, faculty is too good, placement here is average.

Placements: Placement year was not so good. But many students got placed in on-campus off-campus job fairs because it comes under university campus and all job fairs are organised in its campus. The average salary offered 3 to 4 Lacs per annum. Good company from Chandigarh and Delhi come here.

The course curriculum require some changes, otherwise everything else is good.

Placements: Well, placements were just okay in my college, that was not very good and not very bad, but the main issue was that the companies used to approach were the ones with more conditions, so hardly 10% students were there of the total who were placed directly from the college.

Good infrastructure and facilities but no placements.

Placements: Unfortunately, there are no placements for our batch till now & seniors also didn't get placements from the college campus. HDFC Verka Ira group, Airsoft, and many more companies visited the campus. Some offering jobs like call center agents, etc. There are no placements for civil engineering.

The college is great as it helps in overall development of the student.

Placements: The placements of this college are good. The placement department is growing slowly. The packages offered are satisfactory. The placement department is helping students to get placed according to their interest. Once the student is placed in one company, he can sit in the other placements as there are no such restrictions on it as in other colleges.

Placements: Excellent placement for those students who all clear in time. And placement also depends on the interest in Industrial training. Completed good and different project work. Top industries recruitment some excellent student like trident, vardhaman, nahar, sports king, saluja.

The college and the placements are good.

Placements: There are 100% placements in this college, so I suggest every student join this college. I have joined in this college, so my experience is nothing, but now, I suggest as this is the best college in Bathinda. The college infrastructure is good and beautiful.

It is okay college. If you want to learn, you can learn here and get a government degree.

Placements: I would say, a job of Rs. 8,000 per month should not be considered as placement here, but for the placements, you can take your government degree and apply urself. You need to have the talent or good knowledge to get placed. No good companies come for the placements. Worst placements are there, so never expect a job from here.

The best Campus of Punjab, with some weak areas.

Placements: Campus placements usually do not happen here, the top reason being the college is government owned. Even though, some senior faculty have links with local level industrialists. But even then, placement from top MNCs and Level-A companies is almost zero.

Unhappiness with placements even after having well qualified facilities and national level labs.

Placements: Placement here is little less than the fair one. College use to organize job fair inside the campus but only local companies visit. If any one have will to have a job anyhow, he or she can definitely get one for sure but the package will not exceed 2 lac per annum. But in case of Textile department, Placement condition is best. None of our senior or our batch have been offered any internship from college. In civil department, only software related demand is high rather than the field work.

Absolutely Disgusting in terms of faculty -Students co-ordination.

Placements: Placement is Less than 5 percent because lack of co- ordination between Students and Placement Cell of college. Students mostly depends upon GATE or JE exam for tier better career option, Hardly any core sector company visit here. The Higher authority of College is most irresponsible and don't care about future of students. No good companies visits in the campus because of disinterest of placement cell.

This college gives you the way how to survive, compete & chances to learn and grow.

Placements: Before two or three years, the placements are huge in the college. The companies came to the college for giving jobs and that we called as job fair (the largest job fair in Punjab named as Ghar Rojgar), but selection rate is not good. Only a few students got selected and qualified in the final round of selection. The placement package is also not good for our department (mechanical), but for textile engineering it is good. The placement package is good, and the average package is about 4-5 LPA.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements offered are average. The highest package offered in this college to the mechanical student on off-campus is 4.5 lacs per annum only. But now in these days, the government of Punjab will originate the job fair in this college. There is a placement cell in this college.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college in my field, but people don’t prefer this for engineering.

Placements: For the architecture stream, there are no in-campus placements, but you can get the job easily once you get the degree. The college has a good name in the market. But on the other hand, for engineering streams, the college organises job fair. There are many companies come to the college to recruit the students.

In 2013, the placements were not good. The faculty and the infrastructure are good.

Placements: GZS College of Engineering is a government college. The placements for my batch were not good. A few companies visit the campus for the recruitments. Only a few students get the job at that time. Now, the college became the university, and I heard that the placements had been improved.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the staff behavior and operations.

Placements: It was a real waste of time and money. There was a selfish and uncaring staff. Here, paid placements were done just for the sake of the reputation, but a very few students got selected. Overall, it was just a fake formality done by the college as they are not at all concerned regarding the student's job or placements, They are just filling their own pockets and the bank accounts by conducting fraud placements.

Absolutely rubbish, worst college where i have wasted Rs. 6-7 lakhs for my BTech and regret forever.

Placements: There are no placements in this college as this is a government college. So nobody bothers about the placements and the recruiters. This college behaves rudely with the recruiters, and that's why they don't come back after they went through this scenario like ugly food is offered to them when they came for the placements and full harassment during the course and after the course when refunding your security.
