Review of Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: This university was founded in 2015. Around 20% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Lupin and Aimil. Almost 35% of students got internships. Top roles offered are in production, analysis, and pharmacology. You can either open a drugstore or become a researcher.

Not good packages but teachers are helpful.

Placements: More then 60% is enough to enroll in any courses. Packages were not more than 4 lacs minimum 1.5 lacs. TCS, infosys I recommend don't depend on college for placement, just increase your skills, if you have enough skills no one can take your opportunity. 50% approximately got internship. 5) Trainee.

Dissatisfied with the placements, infrastructure is good and facilities is also good.

Placements: No placements in core branches. Only 10% of students were placed. The highest CTC per annum 8 lacs, 2.5 lacs average and the lowest CTC of 1.8 PA is offered. Companies like byjus, ola, accenture nestle etc. Visited the campus. Technical Sales, marketing, coding jobs and back office jobs were offered. Not many students got internship. Yes, there is a placement cell. It is useful but not that efficient.

Experience of B.Tech in ECE at GZSCET.

Placements: Placements are very few. Not even a single company came during our time. So below average placements are there. Study is okay. Teachers are also helpful. Students go on internships based on their own relations. The college does not provide any internship.

The college is good, but the placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Byju's visited our college this year, and around 7 to 8 students got placed with a package of 10 LPA. Around three students from the civil branch got placed. None of the students got placed last year. L&T Trident visited the college almost 5 to 6 years ago.

I would suggest you to keep this college as your last option.

Placements: Apart from B.Architecture and textile engineering, placements are below par for other branches when compared to market standards. As the college is located in a far-flung area, the HRs of companies would prefer to pick students from other good colleges that have an advantage of location.

Satisfied with the college because of its infrastructure and discipline.

Placements: Placements in the college are very low. There are no placements for the civil branch. The highest salary offered to textile students was 16 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 1.5 LPA. There is a placement cell in the college for the students.

Satisfied with the college because of the teaching style of the faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. Placements mainly depend on your aptitude. According to my knowledge, the maximum salary package offered was approximately 10 LPA, and the minimum was approximately 2 LPA. Placement cell in the college is good, and it brings the good number of companies to the college for placements.

Excellent facilities and infrastructure, but poor faculty and placements.

Placements: If you are looking for placements in any of the core branches, then it's a big no to join the college. Being a constituent college of MRSPTU, many companies recruit students from the college during the job fair conducted by the state government, but the salaries offered by them are low. But if you are planning for textile engineering, then the college will provide you with placements in India's leading companies with a handsome package.

I 'll give it average review. I am satisfied by where I am at present.

Placements: There are just few placements in each branch. Since last 2 years I hadn't seen something good about the trainings and placements. Placement in each branch is about 20 - 30% of total batch. As I 'm in civil, I hadn't seen companies visiting here rather than Punjab government. Job fair.

Good reputation of university.

Placements: Placements are very good here. There always held job fairs, public interactions, etc. The no. Of companies came here for the selection of the jobs. The last the highest package attain by our senior is approximately for the 20 lacs rupees. Big companies such as Infosys, creta etc. Came here. It's good for students to have such a university.

University not for Education, but to take fines from students.

Placements: Placements are not good that much as we expected and we heard from our mentors. The companies came here are select only few students by the reviews of our teachers. There is no proper guidance for GATE preparation also. Many students don't get job after passing out from the college. Such a waste of money to take admission in these types of college where only discrimination between student have to take parts and clashes between teachers won the perspective. Can be very much improved in all fields.

Placements: Placements are according to the type of branches. Branches like textile have almost 100% placement. But other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical have less placements. And those who are placed also they are getting around 10 to 15 k per month.

Dissatisfied in regard of placement.

Placements: Placement for my batch was not up to the mark, whereas placements for my junior and senior batch were quite good, as Trident came for campus placement. They offered a package of 9 LPA to the selected students. Although a lot of small-scale companies visited for placement, the packages were dissatisfying. Placement cell was not very active during my course. Companies like Centre, Shiva Spinners, etc., visited for placements, but the packages they offered were very low.

The college is great as it helps in overall development of the student.

Placements: The placements of this college are good. The placement department is growing slowly. The packages offered are satisfactory. The placement department is helping students to get placed according to their interest. Once the student is placed in one company, he can sit in the other placements as there are no such restrictions on it as in other colleges.

It is okay college. If you want to learn, you can learn here and get a government degree.

Placements: I would say, a job of Rs. 8,000 per month should not be considered as placement here, but for the placements, you can take your government degree and apply urself. You need to have the talent or good knowledge to get placed. No good companies come for the placements. Worst placements are there, so never expect a job from here.

Absolutely Disgusting in terms of faculty -Students co-ordination.

Placements: Placement is Less than 5 percent because lack of co- ordination between Students and Placement Cell of college. Students mostly depends upon GATE or JE exam for tier better career option, Hardly any core sector company visit here. The Higher authority of College is most irresponsible and don't care about future of students. No good companies visits in the campus because of disinterest of placement cell.

In 2013, the placements were not good. The faculty and the infrastructure are good.

Placements: GZS College of Engineering is a government college. The placements for my batch were not good. A few companies visit the campus for the recruitments. Only a few students get the job at that time. Now, the college became the university, and I heard that the placements had been improved.

If you are planning for a better future in engineering, then this college is not recommended.

Placements: The placements are not really good at this college. Small companies from nearby, i.e., Chandigarh/Mohali come for placements that too with the minimalistic package. But, since the college has formed the new university, it is trying to conduct job fairs. If you want to be written as an engineer in front of your name, then go to this college.

A college with good infrastructure, but worst placement records.

Placements: The college has a very bad record of placement. Very few companies came during the placement. The package offered by the company is the worst. The college is good only for its infrastructure. Very bad placement record. 15-20% students are placed, and they were also placed at a very low package of about 1.2 lakhs per annum.
