A Detailed review on-GIMT.

Placements: I am currently pursuing this course, and many of our seniors have secured placements in various companies. The comprehensive study methods have also led to the emergence of many entrepreneurs and businessmen. Many students from this department are now working in the transformed manufacturing industry, while some have pursued higher studies and become assistant professors.

I am very dissatisfied with campus life, crowd, high fee, and worse value for money.

Placements: Placement system is average. There aren't many top recruiting companies and even if there are, no students get placements. There are no students who got internships. Around 30% of seniors got internships from average-level companies.

Friendly college with friendly staff.

Placements: Placement is there, but the number of students trying out for placements is limited. The highest package was somewhere around 4lpa, and the lowest package was around 1.2lpa. There is no active internship offers from the college. You'll have to find them off campus on your own.

Students with backlogs were also placed. 2. 6 LPA to 1.5 LPA was the salary range offered. 3. For Mechanical branch: Bosch, royal enfield, federal bank, infosys, sriram finance, luit minerals etc. 6. Compulsory internship for every 3rd year students. BARC, Hindustan shipyard lmt etc.

Good training and internship opportunities are there. Faculty members are really good. Workshops facilities are also provided by the college.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: Lack of placement. Only sale company came last year. Less than 20% of students were placed in our batch. Some were placed in Harley Davidson, some in the local company of the state. The placement cell doesn't take any responsibility until now. Maximum students are left without being placed.

The best private college in Assam in terms of faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but the salary packages offered are very low. Branches like mechanical and ECE have good placement records overall. Reputed companies like Cummins, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Infotech have recruited students from our college.

The average package offered was 2.5-3 lacs per annum. The college has a dedicated placement cell that looks after placements. They make sure everyone gets a chance to sit for at least one interview.

Highly satisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Placements in our college are below average. There are a handful of core companies for each engineering sector. Most of the companies coming for placements are IT based which doesn't suit the ideal placements for an individual. The placements are degrading day by day due to increased competition.
