Faculty is poor and only few deserved faculty. Placements is a good option. Good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in gitam is a dominating factor. Most students who come to our college pass with flying colours. GITAM makes sure that most of the students gets placed. Every year gitam makes sure that atleast 50% placed. But now a days students intake is getting higher and placements are getting decreased. Average salary of 3.3lpa is offered.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management is a very good college.

Placements: My seniors who got scored above 65% got placement companies. About 85% of the students got placed in campus placements. There is a training session for the placements known as campus recruitment training where training is given for the upcoming placements.

Overall it is a very good place for education and some enjoyment.

Placements: The top companies and MNCs come to recruit GITAM students. There are almost 99% placement opportunities. Almost every student is placed with a good salary package and very good place in the company. Placements will be continued up to the end of the academic year, and they make sure that every student gets placed. A student with the hope of getting into a good company can join GITAM. They will be placed in companies according to their performance in academics. There are a lot of MNCs coming to th...

It is an excellent choice because of good faculty members, placements, infrastructure, etc.

Placements: No college in Visakhapatnam gives you placements like in Gitam University. You will get placed 100% if you are capable. Gitam will prepare you for the placement recruitment programme, and you should be well-prepared for the placement exams. Faculty members are good, and they will help you at any cost.

Gitam is one of the good colleges in Andhra pradesh that provides good knowledge to the students.

Placements: I haven't attended my placements yet as I'm studying final year. The placements will happen after the start of the college(Early July). As I'm from the Electrical department, I have fewer chances of attending the placements. There are more opportunities for Computer science students when compared with us.

If you want a blind s/w job followed by reckless 4 years of B.Tech life, GITAM is the correct option

Placements: TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE are the companies which visit the college every year and they offer around 3,40,000 CTC. 50% of the college strength will be recruited by TCS & 50% of the remaining will be recruited by both WIPRO & ACCENTURE. If luck favors, product based companies like DELL, TECHASPECT, INFORMATICA, GENPACT, SYNTEL which offer 3,20,000 to 6,00,000 CTC visit the college after November every year. A student is allowed to participate in this recruitment process until he got placed. A student...

Gitam University is deemed to be simply excellent.

Placements: It is simply good news to have the highest rate of placements in Visakhapatnam when compared to the other colleges like Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Vignan, ANITS, etc. The main point you need to keep in mind is, when you get placed in a company, you will not be allowed to attend other interviews.

My view of Gitam University is, It was a super college to read, gain knowledge and enjoy.

Placements: Accenture, Tata consultancy services, Microsoft, Verizon, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra and many more companies will come to college. College provides training for aptitude. We have more chances to crack job. We should write cocubes exam conducted by college, by which we can try for off campus jobs too.

The college with great ambience, and less quality of education.

Placements: I can tell GITAM has got the best Infrastructure but of less use. The students are exposed to placements in a traditional way than following or choosing the modern ways. However, it's not easy to get better placement also. They will train the students for software companies even though people are from the electrical or mechanical background. This is not good for one of the top-notch college in Andhra. But I am okay with placement that I got but not satisfied. We didn't have offered with any core...

This college won't satisfy if you want knowledge, because of unqualified faculty, good placements.

Placements: Placements are good, in our year out of 2045 students around 1400 were placed, packages are of range from 2lpa to 12lpa average package is of 3 LPA, 540 students were recruited by TCS and 384 by Accenture, rest of the companies recruited 600 students. Placement cell is good but the problem here is if you got a placement offer in a company you can't attend any other campus interview, for example, if you were selected by TCS (package: 3.5 LPA ) then you can't attend the upcoming companies, so wha...

Placements: Placements were good for our batch and for our seniors as well. The percentage for our batch is 97% and for our senior batch the percentage is 94%. The highest salary for mechanical is given by maruti suzuki and the salary is 6 lacs for the training after it is 9 lacs per annum and the lowest salary is given by tcs and the salary is 2.5 lacs per annum the average salary offered is 4 lacs per annum. Placements: The placements were quite good this year and approximately 3200 students are placed in various companies beating our senior batch. More than 90 percent of students were placed. Starting from Deloitte to Bosch many companies visited us and offered various roles from software techie to sales with the highest package of 11.5 Lacs per annum. Dissatisfied because of faculty, no campus placement in 2017 for civil engineering students.

Placements: At the time I started my B.Tech in gitam there were a kind of opportunities for civil engineering students but when the I passed out not even single company visited to the campus for civil engineers. If you are interested in software side some companies with basic amount will recruit you.

Top infrastructure&faculty,Decent placements,High fees,If you want to study in AP then Gitam is best

Placements: Our batch contains 195 students and nearly 70-80 people applied for placements and 12-14 students were selected to IT companies (Tcs, accenture) with a package of 3.5LPA. If you expect core placement you have to work hard for it. In our super senior batches placements were better compared to our batch. The number keeps on decreasing year by year and only few were selected to core companies in Civil Engineering from our batch. If you opt CSE, IT, ECE then you will have high chances of getting pla...

Really good infrastructure with placements.

Placements: We get only one job per person. If the individual gets any other job, he/she won't be able to apply for any other job applications. I think this is also helpful sometimes because everyone gets a chance to get placed even if he/she is an average student.

Placements: The placements in our college are from different and many top notch companies like maruthi, tcs, infotech and many more. Almost every student with a good percentage are placed in good companies. Many people are settled in good positions in national and international companies.

Dissatisfied because of regarding placements for our branch.

Placements: There is no core placements for our batch (2012-2016), only 4 software company (TCS, Accenture, Tech mahendra) accsepeted civil engineering students for placements and around 120 civil students 40 placed TCS and Accenture. The management don't invite any civil company for the placements.

Placements: Placements in this camp is really good. You'll definitely get a job if you don't have any backlogs many international companies will be visiting the campus. Many companies like Google Microsoft apple will be visiting the campus and you will get very good packages.
