Worth the money, despite all facilities.

Placements: Placements are not that great; totally average companies came to college for interviews. Teachers are good, and other types of services are quite convenient. The college also has a canteen for providing food facilities for everyone, where teachers and students all eat together.

I am not satisfied because placements provided are not good.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Airtel, Capgemini, etc. Almost 10% of the students got internships from our course in Oracle, and Airtel. Role offered was a junior employee.

GIMT is an average college and is value for money.

Placements: Almost 45% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our college is 6.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is probably 1.1 LPA. However, in future, it may change. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, TCS, ITC Infotech, etc. A few students got internships from our course. The top role offered in our course is a senior software developer.

Our college provided good placements in 2018.

Placements: During our course duration, good placements were provided. Even the placements are increasing in B.Tech. In 2014-2018 batch, around 80-85% of the students' got placed from the electrical department. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA. They were providing summer training and winter training in various companies rather than internships. Shift engineer, software trainee and junior engineer were the roles that were offered in our course.

Good infrastructure but faculties should take studies more seriously and discipline should prevail

Placements: 50% got internship. Mostly civil and mechanical department students. CSE student didn't get any internship. Pwd, national highway, hscl are some complies who gave internship opportunities. CSE students did internship from Globsyn and CmC mostly during our batch.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of NO placement, faculties are too much friendly and qualified.

Placements: 1. Below 10% students are placed in my Course. Only one student of my year got placement from college. 2. The highest 15k, the lowest 10k, average 12k salary packages offered for my course. 3. No comment on the companies visited. 4. Operator roles is the top roles which is offered in my course. 5. The highest 2L, the lowest 1L, average 1.5L packages offered in my course. 6. Below 10% of students got internship from my Course.

Global Institute of Management and Technology.

Placements: The college has no placements. No single student got placement in any good company. WBUT recognises the college, or we can say the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. I think this is not a good college, but it's okay. Facilities are good, and our TPO cell is the worst. So, overall, it is okay.

Good for knowledge but don't expect much from placements

Placements: The placement cell is effective yet struggling to get good companies. Many among us and our senior batch were placed in a few IT sector companies like Oracle, RMB, Skysoft, Videocon, etc. There were no core companies for civil and mechanical streams. About 40% students were not placed at all. Mostly, people were offered between 1.4 LPA to 3.2 LPA at various field jobs (surveying, execution, operating) as well as office jobs (software-oriented). Internship programmes were not being provided from ...
