Placements: They give placements in Wipro, TCS. It is not very frequent that every year students get a chance to these placements. Moreover, the students opting for CA CS aren't included or allowed to participate in the interview for placements. The package given was around 2.8 LPA to 3 LPA. Very few students got through like 2-3 students. Most of the students apply for CA and CS.
Placements: Many of the big corporates visit the college for the campus placements. The recruitment process is involving and interesting. Around 10 - 15% of the students get placed every year. Many of the students in the college does CA/CS, so less number of students appear for the college campus. So the students appearing for B.Com (H) only, have the higher chances of getting placed in the college campus recruitment. Many of the companies like EY, PWC, ICICI Bank, KPMG, and many others visit the campus. Th...
Placements: During the time of final year, various private enterprises like Wipro, TCS, HSBC bank came for campus recruitment, but the chances of students get selected is little. The salary offered by them will range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, so the maximum students go for the further studies instead of working right after the graduation.
Placements: The placements can be better. More number of companies are needed to be brought to the campus though. The placement procedures generally took place outside the campus. No internship was offered for B.Com (Hons). The senior batches are all doing good in their respective fields. Most have opted for job interviews from outside the college.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. The college provides placements to most of the students. However, the packages provided by the companies are low. In 2017, many companies like EY, Futures First, HSBC, Amazon, Godrej, etc., visited the college and hired the students. The best package was provided by Futures First, and the rest all were on the same page.
Placements: The placement cell in the college works well. The previous batch, as well as our batch, were offered campus placements from reputed organisations like KPMG, EY, Capgemini, Godrej, L&T, PWC and other few companies. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. The salary range varies from company to company, and also on the roles offered. The roles offered to the students were of junior accountant, associates, sales executives etc.
Placements: Deloitte, E&Y, LG and many other companies were available for placement. The package offered was good by most of the companies. Our seniors didn't have their placements as it started 1st from our batch onwards. So, I expect it made significant progress from now.
Placements: One of the most respected commerce colleges of Kolkata, GCCBA offers enough opportunities for its students to excel in both studies as well as other activities. Some premium companies like L&T, MGH, HSBC, Futures First, etc. recruit the students. The placement opportunities are good with most of the companies offering an average CTC of Rs 25,000-30,000 within India, which is good for graduates with no other professional degrees. On an average, around 50-60% students are offered placements but fr...
Placements: There are placement opportunities for B.Com students by the big 4 auditing firm like Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ernst and Young, and KPMG. Many other companies like Futures First, HSBC, Amazon, etc. also visited. The average salary offered is between 3.5 LPA and the highest package offered was Rs. 920000 CTC by Future First and the lowest was offered by Amazon for Rs. 270000.
It is the best commerce college in Calcutta University. Cut-off percentage is really high. So, if you get into it once, you know that you are with quality of students that makes healthy competition to score good marks and pass graduation with first class. Teachers and principal are very cooperative as well as strict at same time, punctuality and discipline is of utmost advantage.
It is one of the pioneers in commerce with an adequately good campus. The faculty is quite good. Library is also very good. Student Politics can be reduced to a certain extent. Regarding facilities for commerce study, it can receive 9/10 marks. But facilities are not that much modern in type. More than 92% is required to get a chance there for Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Intake of students is around 400.

Its a well reputed college when it comes to commerce graduation. Its among the top colleges in Kolkata. Morning college education is better than evening college. Campus life is cool with many events being organized on several occasions. CA aspired candidates must target this college.
It is the best Commerce College in town and is very disciplined. The Members of the faculty are very supportive. The best thing about the college is its brand name and it’s complementary. The College Administration is very systematic and helpful. But the college need to have nice placement cell. The faculty members always encourages the student to do well. The Lectures are not restricted to only book learning. The Professors focus on knowledge about the real practical world. The best thing about...
It is the best B.Com College in Kolkata with superb surrounding and environment. It is located at Bow Bazaar, the centre of Kolkata. No doubt, we have brilliant teachers giving their best efforts. Buildings as well as ground are systematic and well defined. Everything goes on a systematic way. There's no politics or ragging inside the college.
Apart from the stellar academic environment, opportunities for a few more extra-curricular activities for students would be an asset for the students, helping in the overall personality development. The faculty is good, though the placement cell needs to be more effective.
Placements: Placement is a little good, but only a small number of students get a chance to be placed. Out of 600 students, only 20 to 30 get placed. Companies like Deloitte, HDFC, and Dshaw come here for placement, and they provide associate or entry-level positions with an average package of 3 to 4 LPA.
Placements: Well to be honest accoto the reputation of the college the placement % is really less and disappointing. The highest package went to 9LPA as far as I remember. Companies like Deloitte visit the college. But the placement percentage is really less as I mentioned earlier.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in our batch. Students got many opportunities from good organisations like Deloitte, EY, etc. Many of my friends got placed in the top four companies. The placement cell worked very well. The staff members of the placement cell are helpful.
