Placements: Placements are not good, but college does makes ensure that the extraordinary students to grab the best. As per the other colleges, our college is the perfect college. About the cultural activities, our college has to win the overall title since the last 4 consecutive years, and more than 300 students participate.
Placements: The placement was on the campus, wherein different companies from a different background as in a different line of business visited our college. Around 60% of the students were placed. The companies, for example, Ernst and Young, Vardman visited the campus. The salary offered was starting from 3-4 lacs per annum. The students got the role of advisor, content writer, etc.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Companies like Google and Ernst & Young, PNB, visit the college for placements. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Basically, the students get good exposure to the outside world even before they face the real world. The theoretical and also practical aspect go hand in hand. Thus they are providing students with a good experience.
Placements: Around 25-30% of the students were placed, 3-4 companies visited the college for the placements for our batch, and the same was the case with our senior batch. The minimum package offered was 2.5 Lacs per annum. Majorly, IT companies visited the college. Also, the students were informed and taken to the different placement fairs by the college for the off-campus placements.
Placements: The placements of the college were very good with around 60% of the total students placed, and the highest salary offered was around 7 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 2 lacs per annum, and the average was 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies like Byju's, C&C construction visited the campus for placements. The roles of leadership developer and sales executive were offered. The students who got internship were around 40%. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 8,000, the lowest was Rs. 1,000, and the...
Placements: Placements are not good as only a few companies come to college, that too mostly regional offering a sales role directly or indirectly. Most of the students prefer further studies. The college doesn't work for improving placements and students also do not acquire much skill during graduation.
Placements: There are not enough opportunities for placements. Most of the students have to get jobs on their own, while the rest may apply for higher education. The students get jobs of 3-4 lacs per annum on applying for jobs at an individual level, after BBA. So, this encourages students to opt for higher studies instead.
Placements: Many companies visit our campus. All the deserved students who are all-rounders in both academics and sports are being selected. Companies like E&Y, Deloitte, Wipro, etc visited. On an average, 55% of the students are placed with an average package of 3 lacs, though the rest of the 45% were not able to get on-campus placements because of their attitude and behaviour. Moreover, they didn't get enough grades to be selected.
Placements: There are no placements for the psychology honours department, however, the placements for b.com batch are average wherein almost 50% students got placed in IBM, TCS, L&T, etc. in the 2016 batch. There are generally no internships either for our department and hence, no stipend offers.
Placements: No direct campus placements from my field. Many students do go for internships but on a very personal level. I do not feel the college quite helps in the process. I did two internships, six months each while in graduation. But those which I did on my own, my college didn't even provide attendance for the same and I really had to manage between both the things, classes and a job. I think the placement cell must invite companies and also give better exposure to their students. We need to empower y...
Placements: I have done my bachelor's from this college. The companies that visited for campus placement are Aircel and EY. Although the number of students that got placement from my college was quite low. The students were offered a package of around 3 to 4 lacs and the location was Gurgaon.
Placements: The placements in BBA are comparatively very low. In fact, there are no placements at all. Various companies did visit the college but none of them were there to recruit for BBA. While the course stood at the 13th rank in the northern region, the college failed to get us any placements.
Placements: Placements were poor and a few of the companies which came to campus were E&Y, ZS Associates and IBM. E&Y offered 3.3 LPA and the role the company offered was audit assurance. Internships were no compulsory in the college and the college does not provide any kind of assistance for the internship.
Placements: Students get a lot of exposure to companies. The placement cell is very supportive. I got a job in Infosys through a joint campus placement. Many MNCs come in GGDSD College and students get to know about it at the early stage so that they should be well-prepared. Overall, the placement is very good.
Placements: For placements in Chandigarh after BCom, SD college is the best. Don't expect the type and number of companies which come to colleges in Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore. After BCom, you can expect companies or local firms offering you at least 10,000 per month depending on your practical knowledge.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the campus to take care of all the placements for the students. I was also placed in two companies and 5 companies came this time - L&T, Aquasoft Solutions, Himalayan Solutions, IBM, and Concentrix. The companies were good and the average package was Rs. 22000 p.m.
Placements: As a fresher, I would say placements at SD College are quite good. They provide you job packages of 18 to 25 thousands per month in companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, etc. About 70 percent of people got placed from our batch. They rarely provide you internships but if you get one, your average stipend would be 2 to 3 thousand only.
Placements: Placements for NCAA students are average. There are companies like Wipro, TCS and Infosys which came for placement for a package of about 2 to 4 lakhs maximum. As a fresher one can opt for this package. Students are generally provided with the roles of data handlers, operations etc. They do not provide much of internship opportunities to students of BCA.
Placements: The placement is nearly 90%. The highest salary was around 1 lakhs for the ones who were selected as college professors and the lowest was Rs. 40,000 per month for contracts and stuff. Roles offered were teachers, professors, bioinformaticians and lab assistants, etc. About 50% got an internship from the college.
Placements: The placements were not up to the mark. Not many companies visited. The percentage of students who got placed were low, about 25% students got placed. Mostly financial institutions and training institutes visited the campus. The roles offered were of financial advisor, analyst, auditor, etc. The internship was provided by Ernst and Young only.
