Course Curriculum Structure for B.Sc. at Government College, Angul

The course curriculum for B.Sc. at Government College, Angul is structured in a way that provides a strong foundation in the subjects of physics, chemistry, botany, and biology. Here's what we've gathered:

* Relevant Course Content: The course curriculum is relevant to the course of study, making students industry-ready. (Student)
* Basic Chemistry Course: The course is basic chemistry, which helps students gain knowledge about chemistry. (Alumni)

Unfortunately, there isn't more detailed information available about the structure of the course curriculum beyond these two points. However, it appears that the focus is on providing a solid understanding of the core subjects involved.

Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, the placement record of the college is not impressive, with fewer than 10% of students getting placed in reputed companies. Internship opportunities are scarce, and most students opt for further studies instead.

Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure, with good labs, libraries, and hostels. However, some areas, such as medical facilities and playground maintenance, require improvement.

Scholarships: Various scholarships are available, including Medhabruti and Prerana, which cater to deserving students.

Campus Life: The college organizes several events, including welcome and farewell ceremonies, and provides a range of extracurricular activities.

Government autonomous College is the best.
Placements: Placements are very low and could be said that it's nill. Very low percentage of students have been placed in companies whether large or small. It is the only demerit of the institution that the number of students placed is very low as compared to private colleges.
Infrastructure: The college is well maintained by the organisation. 2 Hostels are present, one for girls and one for boys. Hostel wardens are well supportive and encouraging also. Full-time Wi-Fi facilities are available all around the campus for the smooth running of internet access for both students as well as teachers. Hostels are created more conducive to learning. There are 2 hostels available with 200 boys and 150 girls approximately.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, encouraging, and bring off-course help. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes it very easy to learn and remember easily. Semester exams are average as they should be. If a student does not study then obviously he will face the semester hard but at the same time, the students who have an interest in studies will find it easy full on.
Other: I was in this course named B.Com because students all over the world pursuing B.Com will be able to work in a variety of sectors and roles such as account manager, finance manager, project manager, accounts executive, financial advisory, executive assistant, chartered accountant, cost and management accountant and many other courses etc. Large numbers of events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings scholarships, extraordinary and extracurricular activities all around the corners of the college in each and every department of the college.

It is an average college with traditional-style teaching, and there are no placements in 2020.
Placements: There are no placements available in 2020, and this needs to be improved.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available, but not for students. The lab is good and well-maintained. Classrooms and a library are also available but not well maintained, but the hostel is very good. The food here is the best. The environment in the hostel is too good.
Faculty: All our teachers are highly qualified and helpful, and whenever a student has a doubt, they clear it up in the class. The course is basic chemistry, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that hard and the passing percentage is more than 35% in every subject.
Other: My course was a B.Sc. in chemistry. There are 60 students pursuing this course. I chose this course since it was a basic course to gain knowledge about chemistry. Improvements should be made to the curriculum to make students industry-ready. Events like welcoming newcomers by the seniors of the respective departments and farewell ceremonies are held here. There are various scholarships like Medhabruti available for meritorious students.

Highly skilled faculty members and good infrastructure.
Placements: Mostly the students having above 80 percentage are placed in this college. There is no placement facilities in this college. Students getting higher marks or percentage will get some benefits. There is no recruiting companies which will offer any job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is well developed and very neat and clean. The environment is quite good and well maintained for study atmosphere. Students enjoy the most. The labs, classroom and library is well organised and different types of books are available also. Food and canteen facility is quite good in hostel also.
Faculty: All the faculty members of this college is well trained and very skillful. There teach us life lessons as well as guide us nicely. The curriculum is very good and exams are occurred very strictly and in discipline manner. The semester exams are good and well organised.
Other: I choose this course because I like this subject from my school days. I was very much good in this subject so I choose this course for my graduation. The life in this college campus is good and very much enjoyable. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surrounding and extracurricular activities are also well organised.

I am satisfied, but there are some lacunae in the availability of faculty members.
Placements: Below 10% of the students get placed from MBA and computer science branch from our college. Only 5% of the students got internships. Only 30% of the students go for post-graduation. The salary offered is Rs. 20,000-50,000 per month. Only a few students get a PhD after post-graduation at this institution.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available around the campus. Physics labs are well-furnished, and botany, zoology and chemistry labs are average category labs. Some of the classrooms are air-conditioned. All the classrooms are provided with bench desks. The library is very good with versatile books.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are on a contractual basis. So the ratio of highly qualified teachers is low. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant up to a certain extent but not completely relevant. Semester exams of this college are not much difficult, and the pass percentage is 65%-70%.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the job and teaching perspective. The best thing about our course is various career aspects for the future, including teaching, research and jobs at IOCL, ONGC, etc. It is better to gain practical knowledge in this course. Many events like annual functions, welcome ceremonies, farewell ceremonies are celebrated at this institution. Prerana, e-Medhabruti scholarships are available here. Connectivity is very good because the state highway connecting Mahidharpur to Angul goes through it. Extracurricular activities like NCC and gym are available here. Surroundings are very good with a big campus.
