The Journey through the GCOE, Amravati.
Placements: This is a tier 2 college, the average package one can expect after graduation is 5.5 to 7 LPA. Placement rate is up to 70% as other students opt for Masters and Entrance Exam. The cost of living and fees is quite affordable, so it’s a good college for Vidarbha students.
Infrastructure: The college was established in 1960. With time, the infrastructure has become old, and some buildings are declared dangerous. Some new departments have been started to be built, but it will take half a decade to be in use. There is a central library facility and computer labs for students.
Faculty: The syllabus is quite hard. Autonomy comes with its own rules, like separate passing and no grace marking, which makes it quite difficult for students to focus on extracurricular activities rather than the traditional pattern. The new education policy has been implemented, but it’s a new trial.
Other: You will find your colleagues from Washim, Nagpur, Wardha, Akola, Bhusawal, Buldhana. All from nearby towns and districts. Brilliant students with low economic support choose the college as an option to metro cities.

Satisfied with college, really good education.
Placements: The college have better placements offered by top companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T and gives an average package which may depend on your CGPA score. In some cases, the company selects students that do not have any backlog in any subject in each semester.
Infrastructure: The college have all laboratories and a central library and also have free Wi-Fi service across the campus. The hostel facility is also available with the best rooms with all facilities including Wi-Fi and mess. The games are also arranged on campus, named as KCT.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and full of knowledge, which helps us with studies and understanding. However, due to the autonomous college, the exam and curriculum pattern are difficult, and students have to study. The passing criteria for the end-semester paper is 60 marks.
Other: The course in civil engineering offers more opportunities and the options for government jobs are also more. The college has arranged events named as Zenith, and you can get a scholarship from the government of Maharashtra.

Placements are very low. Teachers show attitude. They don't teach properly.
Placements: The highest package is 15 LPA. Campus placements are very low. The highest placement they tell you about is not campus-based. From campus placement, the lowest package is 2 LPA. The training and placement cell is not that well updated. Campus placement is like 20 students out of 400 students.
Infrastructure: The majority of buildings are under construction. In Basic Electrical Engineering and Basic Electronics Engineering, lab kits and multimeters are not available. In the chemistry lab, they make chemicals on their own, due to which readings cannot be made accurate. In the computer lab, most of the computers are damaged.
Faculty: They don't teach properly. Sometimes they don't even complete the syllabus and just declare that it's over. They cannot complete just one chapter in four weeks. They inform you about assignments and practicals just before the deadline ends. Some faculty members are pedophiles.
Other: There are many events. The three main events are: Zenith, which is the cultural festival, Prajwalan, that's central India's biggest tech festival, The Kalpana Chawla Trophy is basically a sports event.

A genuine review of my college .
Placements: The placement of our college are good. The average package our college is 550000. The top companies which visit our college are TCS, Wipro, Samsung, etc. The college also provides internship opportunities in various companies that meet certain criteria. There are certain criteria to apply for a company, and the main criteria for many companies is that a student should be clear in his exams throughout his four years of Engineering .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has many lamps, such as mechanics lab electronics lab computer lab and other particular labs. According to the departments, our college has a huge library, which consists of thousands of books and loads the course books with the books used for higher education, such as GATE books.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are highly educated and help you in many ways, such as having students for different labs. The curriculum of our college consists of two semesters per year, in which a semester consists of two exams: a midterm exam and an endterm exam.
Other: The campus life of our colleges is good because it provides a lot of opportunities to participate in several fests. The major fests conducted in our college are Zenith and Prajwalan. Okay about the scholarship opportunities: there are several scholarships given to students according to their caste and categories.

Genuine review of my college.
Placements: The placement of a college is good but has certain criteria, such as a student being clear throughout his four years of engineering, and this must be a little challenging for students. The average package offered is 5.5 lacs, and the companies that recruit the most college students from our college are TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good; we have different lives, which consist of Wi-Fi, which provides students with very good exposure. The hostel facility for our college is very limited; there are only 16 students in the first year and 8 students in the second year and there is no hostel facility for the third and final year.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are very highly educated and the curriculum of the college consists of 7 branches, which are computer engineering, information technology, information engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering, instrumentation engineering, etc.
Other: The fest of our college is good; it provides various opportunities to students. The main fest of our college is this, which provides good exposure to students, but their college students are not on this. Our college also provides scholarships to students based on their caste and category.

Reviews about Government College of Engineering Amravati.
Placements: Around half of the students in our course have been able to secure placements, with salary packages ranging from 3.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Prominent recruiting companies include L&T, Renata, and Reliance. Additionally, around 40% of the students have also obtained internships with these companies. The course offers excellent opportunities, with the top roles being Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET).
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are neither that good nor that bad. But it can be even better to be a government college. And the quality of the facilities provided is below average. The hostel building is not that good; it is just like surviving.
Faculty: The teachers are always available to assist you with any course-related or other issues you may have. They are willing to provide guidance and support whenever needed. Moreover, the knowledge they impart is of high quality, ensuring that you will be well-prepared for the industry if you actively engage in lectures. Similarly, by paying attention and studying diligently, you will achieve success in your exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Before engineering, I did a diploma in the same course, so I believe I should continue with that only. May be the practical knowledge; if you offer the practical knowledge more than the theoretical one, I think it will be more helpful.
