The Journey through the GCOE, Amravati.

Faculty: The syllabus is quite hard. Autonomy comes with its own rules, like separate passing and no grace marking, which makes it quite difficult for students to focus on extracurricular activities rather than the traditional pattern. The new education policy has been implemented, but it’s a new trial.

Satisfied with college, really good education.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and full of knowledge, which helps us with studies and understanding. However, due to the autonomous college, the exam and curriculum pattern are difficult, and students have to study. The passing criteria for the end-semester paper is 60 marks.

Placements are very low. Teachers show attitude. They don't teach properly.

Faculty: They don't teach properly. Sometimes they don't even complete the syllabus and just declare that it's over. They cannot complete just one chapter in four weeks. They inform you about assignments and practicals just before the deadline ends. Some faculty members are pedophiles.

A genuine review of my college .

Faculty: The faculty of our college are highly educated and help you in many ways, such as having students for different labs. The curriculum of our college consists of two semesters per year, in which a semester consists of two exams: a midterm exam and an endterm exam.

An average college. Could be made better if in a better city.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. All teachers are Ph.D. candidates. They are not very helpful. They are not willing to conduct lectures. The course curriculum is very relevant, but it is outdated and needs updating. The difficulty of examinations is average. Exams are not very difficult, you can easily score.

Student view of the GCOEA .

Faculty: Each and every faculty member is highly qualified and experienced. Faculty members are comparatively approachable. There are 2 exams to qualify: the mid-semester examination (MSE) and the end-semester examination (ESE). These are somewhat difficult to pass. To pass, you have to get 40 marks out of 100, and ESE has a separate passing criterion of 20 marks.

Reviewing Government College of Engineering, Amravati.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. Our course makes the students industry ready. The difficulty level of the semester exams depends on the subject and the syllabus. Some papers are quite lengthy. The overall passing score is 40 out of 100.

Why should we take admission in GCOEA?

Faculty: The faculty are helpful and friendly with students so that they can ask doubts without any fear. The course is quite theoretical and doesn't prepare students well for industries. College exams are tough, and there is a separate passing criterion which reduces the passing percentage but also increases the overall CGPA.

Why should we take admission in GCOEA?

Faculty: The behavior of the faculty members is good. Each faculty member has their own special cabin, making it very easy for students to clarify any doubts they may have. The electronics branch is very helpful in industries and is growing day by day.

Satisfied with this college regarding the infrastructure and the facilities.

Faculty: The curriculum is really good. Practicals are performed during practical sessions. So many different varieties of equipments for practicals are available in the lab. Costly equipments are also available in our department for performing practicals. The students are allowed to use the equipments whenever they want.

Good infrastructure and helpful faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; almost all are qualified from reputed colleges and are all Ph.D. holders. They are knowledgeable as well. Teaching is closely related to the curriculum. The course curriculum is relevant to the course, but it is more theory-based. Exams are normal at difficult levels.

Towards developing ourselves.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is not so good but okay. Yes, the curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for jobs and the skills they require. Semester exams are not so hard and are average. The pass percentage is 40 marks out of 100 and 20 marks separate passing for the end-of-semester.

It's a good college, and I am satisfied with all aspects.

Faculty: Since our college is government-owned, the teachers are toppers and highly educated, with some being IIT graduates. Our course is rarely available in other colleges, but the curriculum is closely aligned with industrial requirements. Each year consists of two semesters, with exams being challenging. A minimum score of 30 out of 80 is required for the final semester exam.

I am little bit satisfied with the college infra. But the development is in progress.

Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and solve our doubts if any. Teaching quality depends on faculty to faculty. Our curriculum is as per the New Education Policy. Semester Exams are not too easy and not too hard also. Passing percentage is 40%. Also 75% attendance is mandatory to give the End Semester Exam.
