Placements: Placements in the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology are pretty good for textile apparel branch students. Almost all students in this branch are placed through on-campus placement. It provides pretty good internships for students.
Placements: Placement is very good for APM and TT branches with almost 100% placement, but for IT and CSE, it is worse. Good average government college with fewer feels. Recently, there was a placement in Aditya Birla, Raymond, and many valuable companies for the Textile department.
Placements: Currently, because of the recession ongoing, the placements scenario is not so good. Placements are not good due to the recession. Only 50% of students got placed as of now till March in Computer Science and Information Technology Department (which is my department). The highest package offered has been around 10 LPA in textile and computer science department. The lowest salary package offered is of 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizan...
Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed in our course, and the rest get off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. Almost 80% of students got internships from our college.
Placements: Generally it provides 100% placement however the reach is pretty average. Top recruiting companies vary for different stream such as Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Jayashree Textiles, Trident, Vardhaman etc. It may vary. Average package goes around 3-4 LPA.
Placements: Around 60% Of students were placed in different companies. The highest package was 7 LPA AND the lowest was 3.6 LPA which has been offered till now. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc., Almost 50% Of students got an internship in different fields in different companies. The roles offered by companies are PAT (Programme analyst trainee), SDE, etc.,
Placements: Actually, the placement of the colleges depends neither on the College Tag, nor on the Tier of the college, it only depends on the skills of the students graduating from that college. So, if you are determined and capable enough to be able to boost your skills to the level required by the top tech giants (FAANG), you can get the go out of it. Now, if you wanna know the current placement trends in our college, then I must say, its Average. Students in the departments of Computer Science and Engin...
Placements: Seats are available for 40 students. Maximum students get placed through off-campus placements or go for GATE or CAT. TCS, Wipro and start-up companies visit the college to offer placements. A known guy got placed in TCS, Chennai, for the internship programme through CodeVita. Most of the students graduate without a job in our department, so it's recommended not to depend on college for jobs.
Placements: This college has some very good placement percentage when it comes to textile that is almost 100% but when we move towards technical branches like CSE and IT the placement percentage falls drastically to 60-70% (majorly due to the unavailability of internships and exposure to industry). Major recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys And Oracle (which recruits very few students like 1 or 2 and some times even none). The highest package oncampus ranges about 8-10lpa and average package 4-5 lpa for CSE &...
Placements: Our batch students aren't placed yet, but 83% of the students got placed from our senior batch in CSE. The highest salary package offered overall was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.3 LPA. The average salary package stood at almost 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were mainly TCS and Wipro. Top roles offered were as a junior system developer, junior software developer, programming assistant and senior developer. The lowest salary package offered in our course w...
Placements: Placement scenario is not good in our department, i.e., CSE or IT. Companies like Oracle, TCS, Wipro, and Voltas, etc. visit our college almost every year. But the percentage of students getting placed is not that high. If you pursue APM or TT from this college, you will get placed for sure. There are students in APM and TT who get more than one jobs before the completion of their course.
Placements: There is a pool campusing for the CSE, but for the textile stream, the placement is too good. Since I joined the college, many students joined for the job, and all of them were my seniors. The most of the companies offered 2.5 lakhs per annum, and the position they offered to the student is operator or designer or programmer or software engineer etc.
Placements: I will rate placement as 7 out of 10. The placement was 60-70% that year and the previous year too. The highest salary was 3 lacs and the lowest was 2.5 lacs. Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra and Wipro visited our college and others as pool campus placements. They offered the role of Assistant Software Engineer. There were no students getting the internship from my college.
Placements: About 80% students were placed from my stream. The highest package was 5 lakh and the lowest was 3.20 lakh per annum. Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, CTS, Innofied Solution, Persistent, Oracle Finacial etc. visited our college. They offered the role of assistant software engineer. None got an internship from our college.
Placements: This year the placements were amazing. Although every placement was pooled and some other government colleges attended it too, the opportunities were amazing this year compared to last. Companies like Wipro, Adobe, Softronic, Fusioncharts, etc. came to recruit. Adobe was one of the highest payers with 22 lakhs per annum worth of salary, for female candidates only.
Placements: In 2015, 30 out of 30 students got placed in many companies like Oracle, Raymond, Reliance, BSNL, etc. In case of CSE, placement is entirely headache free. Only four branches are there such as CSE, IT, TT, APM. M.Tech is also done here in case of TT and APM. The average salary started from 20000 to 50000 per month.
Placements: So I am yet to pass out, but apparently companies are coming from this year; about 60% of students in CSE and IT got placed this year, and with an average package of 6-7 LPA with companies like TCS and Infosys coming in here. The placement scenario of textile technology depth. Has always been good. The highest package there this year was 20 LPA, and the average was around 10 LPA, and expect very few students, the majority got placed.
Placements: The placement cell of gcetts is good for those who studied in textile or apparel branch. Almost all student of TT and APM should placed through placement cell . Student placed with the highest package of 18 lpa and avarge package for TT is good and APM avarge package is decent
Placements: Only 5% are placed in our course. The highest package is around 20 LPA. And the lowest package is around 3LPA Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS Only 2 % of students got internship from TCS. But many students do project from NIT colleges and scored very good in GATE exam.
Placements: Top companies for textile technology, such as Trident, Raymond, Aditya Birla, Shahi, and Welspun, are actively recruiting. Approximately 80–90% of APM and TT students secure placements. The minimum package is 2.5 LPA, while the highest package reaches 14 LPA, with an average package of 5–6 LPA. In the 6th semester, many students secure internships.
