The unfiltered experience in GCE Keonjhar.
Placements: Placement opportunities at this college are poor. In our course, only 20-30% of students were placed. The highest package was 4-5 Lacs, and the lowest was 2-3 Lacs. Internships are not available on campus. If you want to do an internship off campus, you must get permission from the HOD and the Training and Placement Office.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi in the library and in every block of the hostel. There are several classrooms and labs in every department, and the college also has a library. The food is now good to eat, and the hostel is a good place to stay.
Faculty: There are several teachers in every department, and all are M. Teach qualified. Some of the facilities, such as the HOD and associate professors, have a Ph.D. background. The course is relevant to the field, but the college does not prepare students for industry. The semester exams are average to difficult, and previous papers are repeated each year.

I'm satisfied with the placement opportunities and faculty members are supportive.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. Most of the students get placed in a campus placement drive. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Vedanta and GMDC are the top recruiting companies for our course. Every student secured internships in our course and different mining sectors. Top roles offered are a manager and in charge in the mining sector.
Infrastructure: There is a free Wi-Fi in the campus and hostel. There is a undergoing construction for the central library. Every classrooms has attached smart boards and green boards. Quality of food is good and available in canteen. Hostels are not in good condition. Medical facilities are also available. College has great facilities for sports, games, NCC, and NSS.
Faculty: Teachers are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable but they don't teach us in an effective way for better understaning. College environment is peaceful, student-friendly, and pollution-free. Semester exams in our college are not so difficult. Most of the students pass successfully.
Other: I chose this college because of the several placement opportunities in our course. Best thing about the college is placement in our mining department. College infrastructure can be better. College and department organize different events and fests. Scholarships are provided to all the students. Many extra-curricular activities are organized.

This college is okay for some .
Placements: In our class only 40 students are there. And not only in our branch in all branch almost strength is same. The average package is 15 Lacs per annum yes, you should know English any of your coding language python, cc, Java. And good knowledge about your course. 40 to 60 percentage of students got internship from the companies .
Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi connection is there in classrooms, labs are having simulation, and library is also there. But less students are going there case know every one is using chat gpt. Hostel is overall good and food provide is good now previously before 2 month food quality was not good but now new catering have come INDIGO and they provide proper hygienic good and good taste. And sports are also there in December month like chess, carrom, kabadi, tug of war, badminton, volleyball and so on.
Faculty: Teacher are good but I am not a good student but I can deliver you the real thing happens in college? The teaching quality is overall good. There are some lectures who are not up to the level but overall is good The semester exams are not to much difficult. I study only PYQ and Go for exam and I got 7.5 sgpa in both the semester and now I am in 3rd semester.
Other: I didn't choose the course I got it from OJEE councilling. Process. The best thing is director is coming to our class for ECA (electrical circuit analysis) and he is very friendly and calm lecture. He is the best lecturer in the college .

College placement is satisfactory.
Placements: Around 60% - 70% of students are placed in this course. Students are placed both on-campus and off-campus. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered around 2 LPA. JSW and Shyam Metallics are the top recruiting companies in our college. No internships are conducted in our college. Their chances of getting placed are not much worth it. The top roles offered in our course are mental testing in companies and manager positions.
Infrastructure: The campus has free Wi-Fi in hostel. The college is undergoing construction for the central library. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Labs are average in maintenance. The quality of food available in the canteen is average, and the hostels are in good condition. Medical facilities are also available. It has facilities for sports, games, and NCC.
Faculty: Teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable, but they don't teach effectively that a normal person can understand properly. Environment is good for students, it's peaceful, with no vehicles or noise pollution. Exams are easy if students study one month before, they will get above an 8 CGPA. College helps in making students industry-ready our course.
Other: I thought this college was better for this course, and my thought was slightly wrong, but I wouldn't regret coming here. The best thing about our course is our faculty members, as they are very supportive and helpful. College organises branch fests, other college fests, and many events and extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

This college is an average experience.
Placements: Around 60% of students in the CSE department get placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the average salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA- 1.5 LPA. There are no internships provided by the college. If you want to internship at any company, you must first get permission from the college before applying.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good, with Wi-Fi available only for administrative work, but not for students. Sufficient labs are present for the current department, and classrooms are quite good. A larger central library is under construction, while a smaller one is already available inside the college. Hostel provides decent facilities, although the Wi-Fi worked better in the initial days. After a few months, the Wi-Fi started facing frequent issues. In my opinion. Water facilities provided are not entirely hygienic and require timely sanitation. Additionally, during the summer, there can be a scarcity of water in the hostel. Quality of food in the mess and canteen is not very impressive at the moment. Hostel is located 3-4 km away from the hospital.
Faculty: Teaching is quite good, and the course curriculum is relevant. However, it cannot be said that it will 100% make students industry-ready. Some effort is needed from the students themselves. Semester exams are not very difficult, you just need to understand the basics of each concept. Pass percentage is currently maintained at 33%.

The college is good, but not as much as I expected .
Placements: Around 50-60 percent of students were placed in this course. The students are placed in both on-campus and off-campus. The highest package is 6 Lacs per annum, the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum, and the average package is around 4 Lakhs per annum. TCS is the top recruiting company in our college. No internships are conducted in our college. Your chance of getting placed is not worth it. The top roles offered in our course are web-developed.
Infrastructure: The Campus has free Wi-Fi in the campus and hostel. The college is undergoing construction for the central library. All classrooms are attached with smart boards. The quality of food available in the canteen is average, and the hostels are in good condition. The medical facilities are also available. It has great facilities for sports, games, and NCC.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and are qualified from NITs and IITs and other state government engineering colleges, and they're knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students ready for their professional life and industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not too difficult, and if a student studies hard and attends lectures, they can pass the semester exams. The pass percentage is around 85 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of computer science and engineering and their placement, but it doesn't meet my expectations. The people and staff of this college are the best things. The placement would be better or improve in my course, and many companies should visit our college for placement and internship purposes. The campus organises many fests, events, and extracurricular activities. The campus also has government scholarships for every student. The surroundings are surrounded by many mountains, and the view is worth it.
