3.4
1Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Our college has beautiful infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement facility available for students. Companies do not visit our campus for placements. Our college does not provide internships to students.
Infrastructure: There is a library for students. Medical facilities are provided to the students free of cost. Facilities for various sports and games are available. The mess food is not good, and it can be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They guide the students for the future. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their domains. Exams are held semester-wise and mid-semester-wise. The pass percentage is around 100%. It does not make students industry-ready.

If interested in making career in core branches then go for it. Be ready to study hard for GATE.
Placements: The placements are not that good. Every year 5% to 10% students get placed that too from mining branch mostly. The highest package lies between 7- 8 LPA. The average is around 4 LPA. College does not provide internships. Students have to find internships for themselves but most of the students do internships. Vedanta, Coal india, Birla group visits campus for placements. There is training and placement cell. I didn't find it very useful. Students try to get jobs in PSUs through GATE. Many try off campus placements.
Infrastructure: Fees is not very high still infrastructure of the college is in good condition. It is located around 6 kms away from the town. The location is very beautiful and peaceful. There are different buildings for different departments. There is wi-fi in campus. Classrooms are good and well maintained. Labs are well-equipped. There are sports facilities available. There is hostel available. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls. The rooms are available on sharing basis. There is mess available. The food quality is not that good as expected from government college. There will be normal infrastructural issues like power failure.
Faculty: There are combination of permanent faculty members and faculty members on contractual basis. Almost all the permanent faculty members are Ph.D. holders, well qualified and knowledgeable. They will help you a lot. Contract basis faculty members are mostly M.Tech. They do not care much about students, teaching, completion of syllabus etc. There will industry exposure as there will be industry visits. The course curriculum is good but not very relevant for today's industry practices, you will need to learn many things when on job.
Other: Campus life is good. There will be cultural and technical fest "Utkarsh". Campus crowd is good. Campus surrounding is very beautiful. Connectivity is not a problem. Bus service is provided by college. There will be scholarships available given by government. There will be extracurricular activities but one has to take interest.

College placement is satisfactory.
Placements: Around 60% - 70% of students are placed in this course. Students are placed both on-campus and off-campus. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered around 2 LPA. JSW and Shyam Metallics are the top recruiting companies in our college. No internships are conducted in our college. Their chances of getting placed are not much worth it. The top roles offered in our course are mental testing in companies and manager positions.
Infrastructure: The campus has free Wi-Fi in hostel. The college is undergoing construction for the central library. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Labs are average in maintenance. The quality of food available in the canteen is average, and the hostels are in good condition. Medical facilities are also available. It has facilities for sports, games, and NCC.
Faculty: Teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable, but they don't teach effectively that a normal person can understand properly. Environment is good for students, it's peaceful, with no vehicles or noise pollution. Exams are easy if students study one month before, they will get above an 8 CGPA. College helps in making students industry-ready our course.
Other: I thought this college was better for this course, and my thought was slightly wrong, but I wouldn't regret coming here. The best thing about our course is our faculty members, as they are very supportive and helpful. College organises branch fests, other college fests, and many events and extra-curricular activities throughout the year.

Developing College with good infrastructure, placements are satisfactory.
Placements: The placements of seniors went satisfactory. Only 5% students were placed in 2017. the highest package is Rs7.2 LPA and the lowest is Rs3.6 LPA. Vedanta, IMFA, Kisco Castings Limited and Tega Industries visited the campus. All were posted to Junior Manager. Almost all students do internships. No stipend has been given in internships. Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is present. Classrooms are neat and clean. Library is not much developed. Medical Facility is not present. Sports and Games are upto students interest. Food quality is not very good. Hostel rooms are clean and comfortable. Yes, due to lack of infrastructure labs were not conducted.

Yes, the course is related to metallurgy industry completely.
Other: Events such as Group Discussion, Quiz, etc. Are conducted by Club Innovare. Utkarsh is the annual Tech Fest of GCE, Keonjhar. Campus is surrounded by mountains and barren lands.
