Overall, it's a good college, but education here is not up to the mark like in Nirma, DDIT, etc.

Placements: I'm currently in 1st-year of B.E (computer engineering department). The highest salary packages are offered to the students of the computer engineering branch. Almost 40-60% of the students get placed through on-campus or off-campus placement drives. There are very fewer chances to get an internship here. Our seniors who got placed were offered a maximum salary package of 6-7 LPA. The placement cell of the college is not very active. However, professors would help you if you have good contacts w...

The college is good except for its faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities as they collaborate with GTU itself and provide really good exposure to students studying in this college. Companies visit the college to interview the students who got good results and the students who are talented.

The college has good facilities, placement cell and qualified faculty.

Placements: Companies visit the campus for recruitment. The teachers, placement cell in charge and individual department representative have contacts with the companies. In the previous years, the companies like L&T Technology, Wipro, Torrent Power, Kadana Hydro Power, IMDC, etc., visited the college.

The review of Government Engineering College, Modasa.

Placements: There is no placement cell in our college. Many small or local companies visit the campus for placements and hire a few students. Reputed or any MNCs doesn't visit the campus for placements.

I got a wonderful experience at this college.

Placements: The placement coordination is better than other colleges which are under GTU. Many famous companies like TechnoLED, ERDA, ElCOP, Snider, etc., visit our college for hiring the fresher trainees. The information given by our placement cell about companies' profile, start-up, and the annual package is accurate. Other college students come to our college for job recruitment. The college gives excellent information about the placements in our college.

The college is good for hardworking students and tough for lazy students.

Placements: According to the recent stories, frankly speaking, only a few companies are visiting the campus for placements. We have to do our own for that as our faculty just share company requirement to us. Talking about an internship, the students mostly select UDP (user-defined projects) as they are not aware enough of IDP (industry-defined projects).

A review on Government Engineering College, Aravalli.

Placements: The placements are not good as per the requirement. Only a few students got placed on the campus placements. Around 10-20% of the students got placed on the campus placements. The salary package offered is in between Rs. 8,000-15,000 per month. The roles offered to placed students are management and sales servicemen. Around 40-50% of the students got internships from the college, and this is very useful. Most of the students from the college go for internships. Some students go to Canada, Austra...

Our college gave the best facilities to its students.

Placements: This year, my seniors got placement on the campus. Maybe 45 to 50% of the students got placed with the highest salary package of 3-4 lacs per annum. The reputed companies visited our college in which some companies offer us jobs. Maybe 80 to 90% of the students got an internship in my college and various companies.

Very nice college to study. But there is no cricket ground in college.

Placements: No placement in other branch but in EC department, every year 3 or 4 companies are coming to select the students and last year 24 students of EC got their job in matrix solution. And many more company come and select the students. And there is no industrial area near college so it is difficult for students to find their desired job.

Typical Govt. College who trying to get attentions under new management till now all working nicely.

Placements: The college doesn't provided proper placements, but if a student has good potential and academics got worthy projects for DE as well as a Final project this always helps anywhere. In addition there is different placement officer per branch if you got efficient professor for that then you have increased your chances for placement at great extent. Awareness for internship and other information related to it is very reliable and quick.

GEC Modasa- very good infrastructure and bad for internship.

Placements: Placement in our college is moderate. 20+ companies visit our college. On an average, 40% students are placed. In this, the highest salary package is 4.2 lacs/annum. And the lowest is 2.2 lacs/annum. Many roles take like a developer in Java, PHP, .net, Android, iOS and Python were offered. Also, management roles were offered. Internship in our college is very less, approx 20%. The stipend is as per the company. The highest stipend is Rs. 8000/month and the lowest is Rs. 3000/month. ...

A good government college in Arravali with good facilities.

Placements: In our college, placements are few but some companies visit for hiring the students. Reliance, L&T, GVK, GMRI, etc. are the companies that visited for recruitment. They give a maximum of 3.2 lacs per annum. Generally, they took the students for floor working. In my college, no students go for an internship.

Best college in Aravalli district.

Placements: Many companies visit for recruitment but take 3 to 4 students only from every branch. The average package offered by the companies is 2.5 to 3 lacs per annum. Students who have 8+ CGPA get placed easily. Companies like L&T, GVK Emri, Reliance, torrent, etc. visit for placement.

Good place to gain lots of knowledge and at the same time fun and sparkle.

Placements: The placement was indeed amazing. There were 86 students who gathered for the placements. The role offered was automation. The minimum amount offered was Rs. 7200 and highest Rs. 15000 per month. There were group discussions, written test, personal interview. After all these selection processes, they hired the students.

A genuine learner can make out the best from the college.

Placements: HFFC company visited for placements. It is a financial home loan company and recruited 3 students from the civil department. It has basically 2 rounds. In the first round, the participant has to face GD (group discussion) and in the second round the candidate has to face PI(personal interview).

Excellent government engineering college in Gujarat. Highest return of investment (guaranteed).

Placements: Being a government engineering college, very few companies visited the campus. Indian Army came for campus recruitment drive during that year. Professors assisted in getting internships in several good companies. Indian Railway was one of them. ONGC, PEASS Industries, TATA, Reliance Petroleum, Atlas Copco, Sandvik Coromant, Cutting Tools Limited, etc. were the companies which came for placements. Students were offered the roles of trainee engineer, junior engineer, intern for the jobs offered o...

A good government college with average faculty and facilities, but will have to struggle for job!

Placements: Placements of our batch and previous batches did not take place by the college because our college didn't hold campus drives. About 30-40% students from the last years batch got a job. About 99% (true figure) students of our batch haven't received a job or call letter despite being in the final semester. The ones who received jobs roughly have Rs. 15,000 salary on average. The students joined as product developers and tutors mainly. About internships, there were no internships either...

Absolutely good for civil engineering among Gujarat because of its faculty and response from them.

Placements: Actually, you are talking about the placement but the fact is that I had never seen any type of placement during my 4 years of engineering and also not heard about it from my seniors or the students who were passing out from it. But actually, it is a college which deserves to get placement from well-known companies.
