Best faculty, extremely good infrastructure and good atmosphere.

Placements: The placement is average in our college. The big companies don't come here but medium-scale companies like Argusoft, E-infochips, etc. are coming to our college. Approximately 30% students got the internship from the college. The stipend is 10-16,000 approx and the salary is 2 to 4.5 (annual) lacs approximately.

Our college is one of the best examples of "Dream big. Start small. Act now"

Placements: There is a very good scope for the campus placements since years, especially for the CS, IT students and also for the other departments. More than 60 students only from the computer science department have the opportunity to be selected on-campus every year. And the company gives the good packages to the students. The students get the opportunity to get selected in one of the companies like Infochips, Quick heal, IBM, L&T, Infotech, Tata, Argusoft, Tech Mahindra, etc., according to their skill.

Nice infrastructure and good location.

Placements: The placement rate is average but not so bad because companies like TCS, Argusoft and QuickHeal are visiting. Many students are placed. The average salary is 2.9 lakh. Generally, a 7 CGPA is necessary to sit in placements. The eligibility criterion is decided by companies. All notices about placements are declared on notice boards and students are informed via email.

Average in terms of placements and learning. Best in terms of fees and facilities.

Placements: There were no placements at all. The students were trying their luck in off-campus drives. After 2013 batch, there were some cases of placements but hardly 2-3 companies came. Generally, it's a regional college so you cannot expect the TPO to do some sort of work. Students have to try on their own. In the city, many companies are present but the TPO is so irresponsible, he will never approach any single company.

Good placement in 2013-14, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The last placement in the department batch was the batch of 2013-14. 10-11 students were placed in the various fields. 80% and above percent were placed and that is a good result for placement. Network security, software and hardware companies visited the campus. 15000 to 23000 were offered by the companies.

An excellent college for engineering.

Placements: Placements of this college are good. In our batch, almost 25-30 students were selected. There were too many companies that came for on-campus interview like Tech Mahindra, L&T, TCS, IBM, etc. If you are smart enough to crack an interview, this can be the best college for study and decorating your career with wings of success.

Good facilities but dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: Last year (2017) 2-3 companies visited for placement in metallurgy engineering at Government Engineering College Gandhinagar. The first is GIFCO which is a government company and they did not select any candidate from our college. They offer 24-25000 salary per month. But they took no candidate from GEC Gandhinagar. The second is Essar Steel- Surat. They offer 17,500 per month and chose 12 candidates but their criteria for the written exam was deferent like 175 cm height and 60kg weight with onl...

Good infrastructure, moderate facilities but knowledgeable faculty.

Placements: Placement in GEC Gandhinagar is moderate. In Instrumentation & Control department, companies like L&T, Essar, Yokogawa, TCS and many more recruit the students. Annual package offered ranges from 2 to 3.5 lakh. Many other companies such as Quick Heal, eInfochips, Tech Mahindra, Argusoft are the major visitors and recruiting companies of the campus.

Placements: Placements for our batch were pretty good enough. Around 20-25% students were placed. The highest salary offered was 3 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. Companies like HCL, E Infochips, Elitecore, SOPHOS, Wipro, etc. visited our campus. Also along with campus placement, many companies conducted pool interviews and many students were selected through the pool interviews.

Really good faculty, very well-maintained amenities and a very beautiful campus.

Placements: The placements of GEC Gandhinagar, in particular for the electronics and communication branch, are sort of poor. I am in the final year of EC and in our batch, there are only 4-5 students who were shortlisted for a single electronic company 'E-Infochips'. However, the concern of placement officer Mr. Ketan Acharya is good. Overall, unlike other government colleges of Gujarat, the placements are very poor compared to LD College of Engineering and VGEC Chandkheda. As far as internships are concern...

Placements: Among the total students in the college, 30% of them are placed in companies like Google, Wipro, Atmos, TCS, Infosys, LnT, etc. which were offering a salary of 8000 per month to 18000 per month initially, according to the interview and placement. The students were hired as a general manager or a trainee, instructor manager and an employee. Almost every student got an internship from the college in different companies and the stipend offered was from 5000-10000 per month and that was appreciable....

GECG has the best and the worst in everything.

Placements: Out of 10 for campus placement, I would give 4, ie below average. Out of 63 students, about 5 students got jobs from college placements. Companies like Essar oil and gas, Flowchem forging, Nawal cast, Hi-con castings came for campus recruitment. Students were appointed for quality control, process control, melting supervisor, etc Salary offered per annum ranged from a maximum of 3.36 lakhs to a minimum of 1.5 lakhs.

Best Infrastructure and resources but utilization of resources is not much good.

Placements: For my senior students, the placement was very good. Salary ranging from Rs. 2 lacs per annum to Rs. 4.5 lacs per annum was offered. Many companies including TCS, Argusoft, TatvaSoft, eInfochips, Quixom etc. visited the campus. As per ability of the student, 3 to 6 month internship or direct placement as developer or designer is offered. Only few students got stipend on their internship.

Placements: GECG college gives a good placement specifically in metallurgy department. Till now two companies have visited our college and one student got placed with a package of 1.8 LPA. Our placement cell staff is very kind to us, and they have helping nature.
