The missing unforgivable days of my life.

Placements: The college tried for the best placements options, but I don't choose any company for my personal reason. But those days were awesome as I really enjoyed with my friends. The faculty members are good at teaching, and they are cooperative. Especially, if we contact them at any time, they are always ready to help us.

Absolutely satisfied because of the environment, infrastructure, and faculty members.

Placements: Around 3-4 companies come for the campus placements. The placements are rare in our department. At my time, the companies like Wipro and Jacobs interviewed. The training and placement committee has promised to invite more companies and get us placed, so let's see what's happens. Anyhow, they put great efforts to send us for training in our 6th semester, and these two companies are also good.

Very good infrastructure with well-qualified faculty.

Placements: The placements in GEC, Gandhinagar are nearly zero. There is no any facility to provide placement opportunities in GEC Gandhinagar. No any action is taken on making a placement cell in the college. The students have to find jobs on their own after the completion of studies. There is no support from the college regarding placements and industry.

Satisfied with the faculty members, good infrastructure, facilities and cleanliness maintained.

Placements: Many well-known companies like Infochips and TCS come for placements. The placements are based on some tests like aptitude, group discussion, etc. For sitting in placement, a student should have 6.5 CGPA. Approximately, 3-5 lacs per annum is offered to the students.

Good college for engineering. There are good facilities.

Placements: In this metallurgy department of this college, some students are placed in well-known companies. Essar steel Pvt. Ltd. and some multinational companies are visited. The salary package given by the company ranges between Rs. 20,000- Rs. 30,000 per month. All the students got an internship at the college.

Good college for those who don't get high rank and want admission in government college.

Placements: Placements of our college are very low which is about 5%, and the companies come here are 1 or 2. Off-campus is there in nearby LDRP from our college, but it doesn't depend on that. Make your road clear by yourself. Those students who come here also don't think about his/her future. Also, the faculty does not support the students, I think so, and it is the overall fault of the students' faculty and management system. There is also no placement cell in our college.

The review about metallurgy branch in Gandhinagar.

Placements: In our branch, the placement is more than other branches. Our teachers mainly focus on-campus interview. 4-5 companies come to campus each year. I was pursuing last year, and it is India's biggest ceramic company comes for placement, it was a nice experience. Other companies are also coming this year.

The best college to enhance your knowledge and creativity with minimum amount of money.

Placements: The college has good placement record, and it is average compared to other colleges in Gujarat. Last year, Essar Oil, Jamnagar visited the campus for placements and hired 11 students. This year, Torrid, Baroda also visited our college for placements. So overall, the college has average placements as around 20-25 students got placed in the campus placements.

Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.

Placements: Here, 100% placement is given to the students, and many multinational companies like Amazon, L&T, Wipro, etc., were coming for placements in our college. MNCs come here and take away the talented and well-skilled engineers for their company. Also, they give satisfying salary to the students who were doing the internship with that company.

I am not dissatisfied with my college, but it can be improved with time.

Placements: As it is government based college, so the placement is not good here. You have to struggle a lot to get the perfect job of your choice. Most of the placements are off-campus. The companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. came to our college & take freshers with the placement of 3-4 lacs per annum packages.

It is the best college to study.

Placements: My college is good regarding placements. Last year, in my college, there were good placements. BE (IC) placement is 7%, and BE (CSE) placement is 20%. Big companies visit the college to recruit the students. Last year, the highest package offered was Rs. 25,000 per month for BE (IC) students.

Satisfactory for the scholars if they are regular to the college, otherwise, none cares for anyone.

Placements: The college is providing a good opportunity to the students with handsome packages. They often used to call for the campus interviews as well job fairs, so kindly, it is very beneficial for the students to take admissions in this college. The scholar student will have the priority for taking a job.

Absolutely satisfied because of no attendance.

Placements: Students do get placements as it is the only government college in Gandhinagar and also 3rd government college from Ahmedabad. They do get placements in private companies like Infotech, but I don't know much about the salary as I am still in the fourth semester.

You get more reward on paying less.

Placements: Well, last year, Essar came for placement and picked 11 students from the personal interview. This year also, Toreside Vadodara came just a few days ago, 3 students got selected from my class including myself. So all in all, in my college, metallurgy department has good placement records as compared to other departments of my college in last 5 years.

Satisfied with faculties. But college lacks on placement, industrial exposure, sports and canteen.

Placements: In my department, no company have come for the placements. Although we had two pool campus placements, one of Wipro which was IT-related and the other was E-info chip which was EC related, but the salary offered was very less and 3 years bond will be signed. The salary offered is not more than 3 LPA. Out of 120 students 4 have got placed. Don't expect much placement in EC department. As far as the internship is concerned, the college won't provide internships. So, it depends on the individual to...
