Review of Government Engineering College, Jhalawar.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, knowledgeable, and interactive. The course curriculum designed by Rajasthan Technical University was industry based and made students industry-ready. The difficulty level of exams was easy to moderate. The pass percentage was 70-80%.

Review of Government Engineering College, Jhalawar.

Faculty: Permanent faculty was helpful to students but the temporary faculty does not help students. This curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not more difficult, you can pass easily. If students want a good score in practical exams then they have a strong bond with their subject teacher.

Our college has good placements and faculty.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are so friendly. They are always ready to provide us with something new and have great practical knowledge. The curriculum of the course is also related to the industry so that we can properly be ready for it. According to the practical knowledge, students have a great chance of getting a placement and gaining all of the knowledge.

It is a good college with good infrastructure, hostel, library, and classrooms are well maintained.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and friendly with students. In our college, teachers are good education qualifications like a Ph.D. degree, master's degree in the appropriate branch of engineering. They had an experience of eight years, and teaching quality was average. The semester exams were difficult, and the pass percentage was 80%.

This college has good faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers were well qualified, but they were not punctual. They don't spend time in the classroom with students. Curriculum was not good, this makes students a little bit ready for industry. Semester exams were very good, and cameras were available in this classroom, where exams were held. Around 80-90% of students pass the exam.

It is a good college with the best facilities.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and help us. They conduct regular classes, and the exams are a deficit. But the teachers give us guidance and help us a lot. This college is affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University, so you get a government college and government university that helps you a lot.

On average, our college is good.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very outdated here. Our university and the college are not taking any initiative to cope up with this problem. Still, students are studying service tax, excise duty and VAT, even after the introduction of GST. The faculty members of our college are very bad. They lack experience and are poor at making anything understandable to students. They were few in numbers. However, some of the teachers were very good and helpful in nature. Some teachers really want their students ...

I suggest you consider the thing this college is under government before you join it.

Faculty: There are good faculty members from IIT/NIT, but they are temporary. If you expect you will have spoon-feeding, then it's not true. You have to prepare for semester exams on your own. Exams have been conducted in the most neglecting manner like there will be a gap of 5-6 months at providing results. Even only 20% of students will pass. Our university will fail the remaining students for extra exam fees, which is very bad.

Our campus is good. Faculty members are also good, but practical equipment is less in our college.

Faculty: Some faculty members here are well qualified like they have M.Tech and PhD degrees. They are supporting in nature for students, but some faculty members are not good. The teaching quality is good in terms of providing theoretical knowledge but not good for providing practical knowledge due to a lack of practical equipment. Semester exams are average. The passing percentage is approximately 90%.

The college is good, but the location is not. Placements are not up to the mark.

Faculty: At the time my batch passed out, only our HOD was a permanent faculty, and the others were guest faculty, who passed out from this college and other engineering colleges. The semester exams are not difficult, and you can pass easily even if you study one night before the exam. The best part is we have semester exams in the same classes where we attend lectures.

Our college is good, but the environment is pathetic.

Faculty: The course curriculum is old here, but faculty members are well educated from IITs and NITs. But they are temporary. Workshops are regularly organised. Some modifications are made in the course, but even some more are required. Internship opportunities in IIT and NIT are available according to your performance.

There are only 5 % chances for placements, and no practical knowledge is provided.

Faculty: Some teachers in our college have good knowledge, but not skills. They know how to give knowledge to students. Practical knowledge is required for engineers, but our college does not provide practical knowledge. They only give written assignments. Teachers here teach only intelligent students.

It is a good college but doesn't provide good facilities. Parking lot is 1 km away from our class.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and knowledgeable. They give their best. Teaching is good, but practical knowledge is not given. Teachers have skills like how to teach students but they give only bookish knowledge, which is not sufficient because engineering is not about studying from books.

The college neither provides placements not practical knowledge.

Faculty: Faculty members are very poor. They ask us questions more than what they teach. Practical training is not provided in labs. May you opt for any branch, but you will have no practical knowledge. The students are never asked about their interests, and they think that every CSE engineering student should learn only the machine language.

Review of Government Engineering College, Jhalawar(GECJ).

Faculty: After the National Programme Implementation Unit (NPIU), the academic conditions have been improved but are not enough. The course curriculum followed by the college needs to be improved. The faculty to student ratio is satisfactory. There is a need to arrange regular industrial visits.
