Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: There were no placements in 2019 batch only 2 students out of approximately 145 of mechanical engineering department were selected at a package of 3.9 Lacs from job fair organised by Gujarat state government. The internship opportunities are not provided by college you have to find it by yourself.

It is a good college with optimal infrastructure and teaching staff members.

Placements: Hardly 3-4 students were placed from the mechanical department. The salary package offered is 1.3 to 1.8 LPA. There wasn't any reputed company for campus placements, and barely one or two local company visited here. Campus placements are very less in this college. Most of the students who are working on their own as the college placements are negligible.

GEC Valsad is average college for average students.

Placements: I don't know exactly but 2-3 students were placed for package of 30000/month in Vapi Gujarat. There few chances of placement due to less companies are connected there. Student those have cleared entrance like GATE have good chances of placement in outer side of college.

It is a better option to get enrolled than going to any other private college.

Placements: There are no directly placements in our college. They arrange some written tests from companies like Reliance, but the next selection procedure conducted elsewhere at companies place. Some students from our college got placed, but the package information is n't available. This year, the college committee had taken the initiative for campus placements. There is a new rule, according to which each student have to spend one semester in an internship, so now all students will get an internship.

This college is good for studying and gaining knowledge, but there are no placements.

Placements: There are no placements for mechanical engineering students. Not even a single company visit the campus for placements. In the chemical engineering department, a company conducted the interview and hired a student for the job. They offered a salary of Rs. 22,000 per month. There is a placement cell available in our college. It provides training for the placements.

The college is good, but placements are not provided. The infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: In the current scenario, no companies are visiting the college. Other departments like mechanical and chemical have a few placements. No job fair is organised in our college. Most of the students got internships, but they are not offered any stipend during internships. Only a certificate is given for internships.

GEC Valsad provides step towards success.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. The number of placements has increased gradually for streams like chemical, electrical, civil and mechanical. Students who are highly talented always get the opportunity to prove themselves. It can be said that Valsad is hosting one of the most successful colleges in terms of providing a better platform to rising students.

Review of Government Engineering College, Valsad.

Placements: A very few local companies visit our college for placements, and the response from them is not that good. They offer jobs, but the call letters are not received. Even the placement process is not that quick in our college. There is a special dress code required to attend the college placements.

Faculties are very good, placement record is bad, infrastructure and facilities are excellent.

Placements: In our college, if I'm talking about placement regarding chemical engineering department, there's Richter Themis Medicare Ltd is coming every year & took around 4-5 students. This year buyer came in our college, not for the placement but to provide scholarship to selected students which have cleared the written test organised by buyer. Yet this year there's no big movement in placement till now, one mega job fair at vapi was organised, but out of 8 only 2 companies of chemical were there. From t...

The location of our college is excellent as it is pollution-free and noise-free.

Placements: In previous years, only a few companies used to visit our college for placements. But this year (2018-2019), our training and placement cell is working extremely well for the students to secure a good future. A lot of students from our batch were placed in different companies this year. Their efforts are really appreciable.

Our college offers a good atmosphere for studies, but there are no regular placement drives.

Placements: Every year 1-2 companies visit the campus to hire the students of the mechanical engineering department, and almost 3-4 companies visited the campus to hire the students of the chemical engineering department. Only 10 students were placed from mechanical and chemical engineering departments. There are no placements for other engineering branches. The salary offered is Rs. 12,000-18,000 per month.

The college is good and worth the money.

Placements: Four or five companies visited the college for campus placements last year, and 10 to 15 students got jobs. The starting salary offered was around Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month. So, the campus selections were good. The job roles offered were related to the pollution control board, and many chemical companies were also there for vacancies of environmental engineers.

Placements: According to the records of previous years, the placements are good and useful for the students studying in this college. In order to get placed through placements, students should put some extra efforts. HRs of few companies visit our college for the college placements and scholarship purpose.

If you really want to enjoy college life as well as study it's not good.

Placements: There is no placement available for Environmental branch. But you can go through chemical branch if you're going to take admission. It's sad that among 120 or up only upto 5 students were placed. Salary is upto 15000 provided. But not exactly same it differs. Atul, and nearby of Vapi city industries come. They offer design and plant engineer to them. Very low percentage of students got internship from directly college.
