A good option for those who have cleared their NEET exam & are searching for a good medical college.

Placements: There is no placement provided by the college after the bond system has been removed from this college. 4 years of study and 1 year of internship are provided by the college, after which students have to apply for jobs or can set up their own clinics.

Great college for MBBS but still can get better.

Placements: My college has 125 students per year through the NEET-UG entrance exam. 100% of students get internships from my course at my college, as I am pursuing an MBBS. The top roles offered by my college are those of doctor and treating the patients coming for help.

Satisfactory campus and college environment.

Placements: The placements at our college are quite easy and we have a good package of approximately 70000–100000 INR. The bond option is not available at this college so we can choose a hospital for a job according to our convenience. The roles offered by our course are like medical consultant, medical officer, junior residents and senior resident.

My experience of the college life.

Placements: After completing your final year’s professional examination, there is a compulsory 1 year internship required to be served by the students. The class is divided among groups of 13-14 students who are assigned various departments for posting for clinical exposure. Patients load in the hospital is good with various different cases.

College surrounded by greenery.

Placements: There is no such placement system in our college or in any other medical college. After an internship, we have the freedom to apply in any hospital and on behalf of the interview, they will select you or not, depending on the interview. An internship is mandatory from the college, and the current stipend is 17,000.

Skilled teachers, but average facilities, and bad food.

Placements: 92% of students passed in 2023. Most of them opted for post-graduation studies; some students got posted in distant government setting to complete their necessary three-year bond. The average package after MBBS is around 12 lakh rupees per annum.

The college is great. You will love it here. Infrastructure is also good.

Placements: Most of the students get placed. The average package is around 80-90k a month. There are no top recruiting companies. I mean, we apply for jobs in different hospitals. 100% of students get internships in our own college's hospital. They offer us a physician role. Most of the students get a PG seat in our college.

Fairly academically inclined but needs an improvement in co-curriculars.

Placements: The students got admission in my college based on their NEET score. For general category, AIQ cut off was 597 while state cut off was around 550. This college has a good alumni record as students after completing their MBBS often go to highly recognised institutions for their MD or MS like AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Roorkee etc. In internship, students earn Rs. 17,500 per month. In PG courses, Doctors earn between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month based on which year they are in.

It is the best medical college in Uttarakhand.

Placements: After completing MBBS, you must clear the NEET PG entrance exam, and by securing a good rank, you can proceed with your post-graduation and specialisation. Our college provides paid internships. The stipend offered is Rs. 17,500 per month. Our college connectivity is not good, so you are not restricted to giving service in Uttarakhand. You can practice in any state after completing your MBBS.

The college is good with good infrastructure and facilities but lacks faculty members.

Placements: Around 70-80% of placements are provided. Packages range from 80,000 to 2 Lacs per month. Government hospitals, community centers, primary health centers, etc., come here to offer placements. 90% of students got good internships. Any branch of medicine that interests you can be offered like medicine, surgery, gynaecology, orthopedics etc. Overall, the placements are good.

Our college has good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Previously, in our college, we had bonded with the government for 5 years to give our service in the hilly area of Uttarakhand with a salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.75,000 per month. But now, bond facilities are available only in Srinagar and Almora and non-bond facilities in Doon and Haldwani.

The college and environment are good, but it needs to be improved.

Placements: All students are bound to service. So after the completion of course, we had to join our rural postings. The salary offered is good in the bond job, but the area where we are posted is quite remote, and opportunities for preparation for post-graduation are low. Though we are not satisfied with it, we had to join the service.

A great college with good surroundings and climate in winters.

Placements: MBBS course is incorporated with one year of internship. In Haldwani, you have to sign a bond that includes three years of job under the Uttarakhand government. So, you will get placed in your own district or of your choice. MBBS doctors are still less in numbers compared to the population of this country right now. So, you can get placed according to go to any place as per your interest and practice. Mostly, students study for their post-graduation exams.

It is a good college and I would recommend joining it.

Placements: Our college didn't offer any placements. Students have to get placed by themselves. I got placed as a doctor. Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. The salary offered was Rs.30,000 per month.
