Absolutely satisfied with this college because of the good faculty, environment, and placement.

Placements: In our college for the MBBS course, after 4 years, there is an internship in which you are given shifts in the hospital to work with doctors, and they pay you a monthly stipend of 15,000. People here are asking to increase the stipend, so we are hoping that it will be done soon.

The goods and bads of GMC Patiala.

Placements: In this college, a batch comprises 250 students that are taught all at once. MBBS is a 4-year undergraduate course (the final year is 18 months, so in total, it is 4.5 years) and is followed by 1 year of mandatory internship that every student has to undergo. There is no such thing as placements in the college.

One of the best medical colleges in Punjab.

Placements: As this is a medical college, there is no such thing as placements after MBBS. More focus is given to NEET PG or USMLE exams for better aspects of growth and income. But since this college is very well reputed due to it's alumni, one is counted upon.

Prestigious college of Patiala.

Placements: My batch is of 225 students. Being a doctor, you become self employable so the packages are not offered but one can easily fetch 75-80k after doing MBBS from here. Internships are of one year and students get 15k every month. Duties in various departments are allotted during internship months.

Our college is the best in every field and it is a great college for medical science.

Placements: About 90-95% of students get jobs as a doctor in the private or government sectors. The rest pursue their dreams and clear the UPSC examination for higher posts. Every student is given a chance for the internship to make him/her practically enlightened and self-satisfactory for future jobs.

It is the best college in every way.

Placements: There are 225 students per batch from 2019 onwards. We got seats according to our rank after clearing NEET UG. Although after MBBS, you can go and work in any sector of society. Almost everyone gets an internship. The most important thing is the doctor-patient relationship, and it is taught really well.

Overall sneak peek of college.

Placements: As I'm a first year student, I don't know much about placements but I have had a conversation with few seniors. They told us that doing internship here in Patiala is amazing. Large number of patients coming in the hospital helps you to study some rare diseases.

It is the best government medical college in north India.

Placements: It is totally worth it. The admission in the college depends on your NEET PG rank, but you should have all the basic knowledge. It is a good government medical college with a very good reputation. I am still figuring out about the placement part because I am in my internship.

The future is built in this college.

Placements: One thing for sure that I have learned is that after MBBS, you'll surely land a job whether or not you want to go further with your MD plans. I am not quite sure about the other courses and their placements, but I am very confident about MBBS.

It is a good government college for Punjab students.

Placements: Students get appointed as house surgeons or can join civil medical services as soon as they complete undergraduate with a good salary. If you want to go for higher studies, it can help you better. Internships are in the college's own hospital for a duration of 1 year. The junior resident role is offered.

Overall, our college is good.

Placements: Very few students get admission here because admission is based on the NEXT exam throughout India. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month. I think no companies visit our college for placements. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship. Roles like a doctor, senior pharmacist, junior pharmacist, nurse, etc., are offered to the students.
