It is a very good institute, with good faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 100% of students are placed in the MBBS course. The average salary offered is 60,000 per month in MBBS. 60,000-70,000 is the salary offered to PG students. All the students got internships within the institute itself, ranging from all the branches of medicine and surgery.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. All the required labs are available. Wi-Fi services are not available in college premises and hostel. Medical facilities are available. A canteen is available with good quality food. An indoor stadium is available for games and sports.
Faculty: All the faculty members are brilliantly educated and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and prepared by the National Institute. All the professional examinations are difficult to pass. The passing percentage is 50%.

Review of Government Medical College, Jammu.
Placements: In our medical college, there are no placements. Every MBBS student must do an internship in the hospital for an MBBS degree. After that, there is NEET-PG examination which decides the next course of medical students. Moreover, to become a doctor, it takes many years. So, students should study approximately for 11 years to become good doctors.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are a huge auditorium, one NMCN hall (a smart classroom), 2 huge examination halls and a huge library with many good books and journals. Generally, the library is the only place where many students used to study for long hours, so the library should be good which our college provide to us. Hostels have less facilities, and there is a very small room for two students in the girls' hostel. However, in the boys' hostel, there is a single room for a single student. But the improvements are constantly being made for infrastructure. The construction work of new hostels is in progress. The food served in the mess is also good, and a proper menu is followed for each week. Hygiene maintained is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very good doctors. They help us and make us understand the medical subject more easily. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The curriculum for medical students for the whole year had been designed by NMC, and our college follows all the guidelines.
Other: I chose MBBS to become a good doctor and help others who are in need. I had an interest in this field and to earn a good amount of money. The best thing about our course is that it is a continuous learning process about the medical subject, and a doctor should always be updated about new drugs and methods to operate. There is much field experience with patients. There should be an improvement only in the infrastructure of our college. The core subjects should be more detailed, and our college should not make students study just for passing the exams. So, the study should be about gaining deep medical knowledge to treat the patient. Many extracurricular activities are organised in our college like singing competitions, dancing competitions, seminars and debate speeches. Many sports activities are also held live cricket, kabaddi, football, etc. Various tours are also organised in our college.

There are excellent placements every year. Faculty members are good to make excellent doctors.
Placements: There is almost 100% placement rate as it is a medical college. The lowest salary package offered to students is 6 LPA, and all government and private hospitals recruit students from our college. All students do internships at our college only. Our college offers UG and PG medical courses.
Infrastructure: There are a Wi-Fi facility and academic block, but the Wi-Fi facility is not available in the hostel. There are air-conditioned classrooms and a well-furnished library with all possible facilities. Laboratories are well-equipped, and dissection hall is also well-equipped. There are 6 cadavers per batch, and maximum cadavers are available than in any other college of the division. The quality of the food served in the mess and canteen is very good. Indoor stadium and outdoor games are also available. From time to time, sports tournaments are held.
Faculty: All the teachers here are very concerned about the students, and they are well qualified, i.e., they are at least postgraduates. Their teaching quality is A+, and no one can question the quality of our teachers. The course makes you a doctor and able to get placed in any hospital in the world. Many of our seniors are getting high salary packages in countries like UK and US.
Other: MBBS is the best course, and any course couldn't be better than this. All extracurricular activities are super actively conducted in our college. Programmes like Euphoria and Pulse are also held in our college.

    Dream of every medical aspirant.
Placements: After qualifying for the NEET exam, those who cross the cutoff line will get admission to MBBS. All the passed-out students are eligible for internships, for which they get Rs 12,500 per month. Then, after their internship, they have to qualify for the NEET PG exam to get admission in the MD course of their choice, for which they will get Rs 50,000–1,00,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and libraries are equipped with ACs. Practical labs are available for each department. Sports Week is held every year in the months of October and November. Food is good in hostels. Rooms are available for sharing with two people or rooms. We can install our own AC in the room if we want to!
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and cooperative. Interactive classes are held through smart classes. Three terminal examinations are held, followed by a university exam in which passing marks are 50 out of 100 for each subject. This course curriculum is relevant as it allows the students to prepare for the university exam in a better way!
Other: My batch consists of 180 students and the course consists of 4 years of theory and 1 year of internship. Getting admission to MBBS was my dream. Through this course, we can save hundreds of lives. Every year, cultural fest, sports weeks, and NMO camps have been held!
