Good faculty members. Don't expect much on campus life. Good hostel facilities.
Placements: A total of 110 students were admitted to our batch. We get admission in various medical colleges through NEET exams. After completing undergraduate, we can write NEET PG and can do postgraduation. After completing postgraduation, if you are interested, you can write another exam and do a super specialty.
Infrastructure: We have got a good college infrastructure, a good library, good hostel facilities, but the number of classrooms is not sometimes sufficient. We have got a lift, Wi-Fi connections, filter, and cooler, and we also have gym facilities at our hostels. There is a large ground near the men's hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and helpful, and they have years of experience. From the 2019 batch, our curriculum is competency-based curriculum (CBME). First year: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry. Second year: Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology. Third year: Forensic medicine and community medicine. Fourth year: Surgery, Medicine, OBG, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Pediatrics. We have exams yearly.

A nice place to make a good doctor.
Placements: MBBS course in Kerala do not offer any guaranteed placement from the college itself. After passing out, you can work as a general practitioner or go for higher studies like post graduate and specialities according to your wish. A one-year compulsory internship is there after the four years course in which you'll be paid about 27000 per month.
Infrastructure: The quality of hostel and academic block in my college is excellent as they are newly built and maintained well. Wi-Fi facilities are provided both in hostel and college premises. Classrooms are gallery-type classrooms with projectors, boards, and all facilities. The labs, especially non-clinical subject labs, are located in the old block, so they are not as good as the new academic block. In hostel, elevator facility is also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are all well-qualified doctors. The way of teaching is also excellent, but self-study is an important factor in MBBS life. The curriculum might feel a bit congested and stressful to some of the students as there are continuous exams and project works to be done. The final University exams are of moderate level which consists mainly of application level questions. Both multiple choice questions and essay type questions are there. The pass percentage of my college in first year MBBS exam of previous year is 100%.
Other: I chose this course because I love the profession of a doctor. It's more of a service than a job. Even after joining the College my interest and love towards this profession increased. The college campus is active all the time. We celebrate almost all festivals like Onam, Christmas, Diwali, etc. Various scholarship facilities are provided by the state and central government to complete the course.

Overall satisfied with the facilities.
Placements: I'm in 2021 batch which has 110 students, studying MBBS. It is a 5.5 year course. We get to do internship in our own college with starting salary 27000, then after completing internship, we can work as medical officer at various hospital or work as general practitioner.
Infrastructure: College has poor infrastructure, only 2 building, no sports area, wards are congested, only limited number of lecture halls and on top of that nursing students are also using our lecture halls. But hostel facilities are good, affordable and have good infrastructure.
Faculty: All faculty members are good. The curriculum is CBME which provide early clinical exposure but writing works are a burden like logbook, reflection which are of no use. Exams are conducted yearly by the university, internals are conducted by college faculties.
Other: Good college.

Good infrastructure and hostel facilities.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Our students usually do their internships in our college itself; that's what happens in medical colleges. To do an internship, we should clear our final year exams and get the certificates. During the internship we get good exposure to patients.
Infrastructure: Our college has got very good infrastructure. We have both academic and non-academic libraries in college. There is Wi-Fi in our library and reading room. Classrooms have got projector facilities. Hostel facilities are really good. We have got Wi-Fi in the hostel. Mess food is average in quality. There are good chances for extracurricular activities like sports.
Faculty: We have got qualified teachers for all subjects. They are very friendly and approachable and good at teaching. Our university exams are usually quite tough. Pass percentage is approximately 75 percent. We are following the competency-based medical education.
Other: I chose this course since I wanted to become a doctor.

Magnificent faculty and facilities.
Placements: Our class contains 110 students. We have to unnecessarily do an internship for a year in which we have to work at our own hospital after completing the course of 4 and a half years. We have to work in different departments such as medicine, surgery, ENT, pediatrics, etc. Along with that, we have peripheral postings too.
Infrastructure: We have excellent infrastructure as of now, but when compared with other medical colleges in Kerala and the other medical colleges, We have an excellent hostel that provides Wi-Fi, a gym, and other facilities. Food available in our hostel depends upon the contact taken up by the catering services. We have a great library that includes a learning and resource center for students to avail themselves of Internet services along with 20 computers for learning and research purposes.
Faculty: We have highly qualified doctors who are doing dual jobs, both as doctors to their patients and professors to us students, and they are completely excelling in it. We have monthly and weekly exams, such as short exams. But we have internals and university exams at the end of the year.
Other: Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a doctor. For which, after completing 12th grade, I joined an institution that provides courses to prepare us to write the NEET exam, which helps us to get admission to my college. I wanted a better facility at the hospital and to include more PG courses in my college, which is now limited to only three. Extracurricular activities and events and fests are extraordinary in here. No need to improve.

GMC Manjeri: the student friendly college.
Placements: As a medical college, there are no placements. During the internship period, the government provides twenty-seven thousand as a salary. No formal placements are available, but everyone will be placed in some hospital for sure, with a decent salary. It’s one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the hostels are very good. The hostels provide free Wi-Fi, and students can choose between two or three-person rooms. The quality of the facilities, including food, is also very good in the hostel. Our college has excellent infrastructure as well.
Faculty: The curriculum is not very effective as it follows CBME, which is competency-based medical education, leading to numerous exams, including short tests, internal exams, and university exams. The passing percentage is high in our college.
