A nice place to make a good doctor.

Placements: MBBS course in Kerala do not offer any guaranteed placement from the college itself. After passing out, you can work as a general practitioner or go for higher studies like post graduate and specialities according to your wish. A one-year compulsory internship is there after the four years course in which you'll be paid about 27000 per month.

Good infrastructure and hostel facilities.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Our students usually do their internships in our college itself; that's what happens in medical colleges. To do an internship, we should clear our final year exams and get the certificates. During the internship we get good exposure to patients.

Overall satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: I'm in 2021 batch which has 110 students, studying MBBS. It is a 5.5 year course. We get to do internship in our own college with starting salary 27000, then after completing internship, we can work as medical officer at various hospital or work as general practitioner.

Magnificent faculty and facilities.

Placements: Our class contains 110 students. We have to unnecessarily do an internship for a year in which we have to work at our own hospital after completing the course of 4 and a half years. We have to work in different departments such as medicine, surgery, ENT, pediatrics, etc. Along with that, we have peripheral postings too.

Good college for studying UG, faculty shortage, really good hostel facility.

Placements: The college does not provide any placements, but it does offer an internship program. After completing 4.5 years of coursework, students are required to complete a one-year internship. During the internship, students are assigned to different departments for specified periods of time, which helps them gain practical knowledge. The internship provides a stipend of INR 26,000.

GMC Manjeri: the student friendly college.

Placements: As a medical college, there are no placements. During the internship period, the government provides twenty-seven thousand as a salary. No formal placements are available, but everyone will be placed in some hospital for sure, with a decent salary. It’s one of the best colleges in Kerala.

Really good college with good academics.

Placements: About 96% of the students from a batch of 110 students pass each year (after SAY examinations). Courses provided include MBBS, MD, B.Sc. Nursing, and General Nursing. The fee for the MBBS course is the same as other government medical colleges in Kerala—27k. After five and a half years, a student will receive an MBBS degree certificate, which allows them to get jobs in India.

Our medical college is academically very nice.

Placements: Almost 100 percent of students got placement. Because it is a medical college, it can cost almost 1 lakh per year, including all the expenses. As soon as the degrees are complete, we have a 1-year internship programme. In that case, we will start working as full-time doctors.
