The other lecture halls are provided with air conditioning and better seating arrangements. Wi-Fi is available on the main campus, and students can access the internet whenever needed. The labs are equipped with the latest instruments, and students have complete access to the library, which they can use to gain additional knowledge. The hostel is the best part, with nicely-ventilated rooms, and the food is amazing, with a nice menu that is managed by the students themselves monthly. The college grounds are located near RCC, where students can play sports and games of their interest. There is a cafe located on campus where students can have snacks and tea until 5:00 p.m.
Faculty: The college has excellent faculty members with years of experience in medical education, which helps us attain knowledge to improve the health of people. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is set in such a way that students can become competent Indian medical graduates. There will be yearly university exams, which are usually medium-level difficult, and three internal assessment exams conducted by the college.
Other: I chose the MBBS course because I like it, and I think with this knowledge I can really help people and save lives. Our course trains students to acquire knowledge and skills to communicate with and treat people in need. The duration of the final year of the course can be increased. Many arts and sports events are conducted; EUPHORIA is an interbatch festival, and the intercollege sports festival Torque is conducted each year. TMC is undoubtedly the best college in Kerala. It’s graduates are top Doctors.
Placements: The concept of placements doesn't apply to MBBS, but the training imparted here revolves around developing a clinical acumen which definitely lays the groundwork for the best doctors when the students graduate from here. TMC has a plethora of notable alumni.
Infrastructure: The campus is aesthetic and provides all the necessary equipments for studying like proper libraries, Wifi, labs, etc. The hostel, especially the girls hostel, is at subpar, it’s too congested and the food is unpalatable. Besides the Trivandrum climate is too harsh to thrive in.
Faculty: The faculty is well informed and qualified, although some of them are not very approachable. The curriculum is relevant as it is made by experienced doctors. The passing percentage at TMC is excellently attributable to the academic compendiums the union provides. We have helpful seniors.
Other: Variety of events and competitions are held here.
