Absolutely satisfied with this college because of the good faculty, environment, and placement.
Placements: In our college for the MBBS course, after 4 years, there is an internship in which you are given shifts in the hospital to work with doctors, and they pay you a monthly stipend of 15,000. People here are asking to increase the stipend, so we are hoping that it will be done soon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average, and basic hygiene is kept. But in the first year, you don't get a room; they give you a dorm in which you have to adjust with 16-20 people. Also, they don't provide you with an almirah and beds; you need to bring your own. But no need to worry, they are working on it and will be done with it soon.
Faculty: No doubt this college is prestigious, and it is also a very old college. All the faculty members are super supportive; they clear all your doubts. There is also a committee for anti-ragging, as it is strictly prohibited in this college, so you can call anytime and seek their help if needed. This is a plus point for girls.
Other: The events and fests conducted here are so energetic. There is a fest named Aura every year; it is a 5-day fest in which you will see competitions, flash mobs, comedy nights, and star nights. Also, there is a sports meet every year, and there are lots of extracurricular activities like the gym, swimming pool, and many more.

This college is maintaining its 100-year-old legacy with a good program and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost everyone is placed in different colleges and hospitals in India as well as internationally after clearing foreign graduate examinations of respective countries. There is also the option of doing postgraduate studies after giving the NEET PG examination every year in May or June.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, with a legacy of 100 years that is well-maintained and regularly checked for any disruptions. All basic amenities are provided, with great cleanliness and greenery in the surroundings. The hospital is also clean and well-maintained.
Faculty: The MBBS program is of five and a half years. For the first four and a half years, there are classes and practical and clinical tutoring. In the last year, there is a compulsory rotary internship for which every student is paid ₹15,000 per month, enough to meet their own needs. The course curriculum is relevant.

The goods and bads of GMC Patiala.
Placements: In this college, a batch comprises 250 students that are taught all at once. MBBS is a 4-year undergraduate course (the final year is 18 months, so in total, it is 4.5 years) and is followed by 1 year of mandatory internship that every student has to undergo. There is no such thing as placements in the college.
Infrastructure: Students are taught in big classrooms all at once. These classrooms are called lecture theatres. The LTs have comfortable seats and are fully air-conditioned. There is also a decent library in the college. The hostel conditions are nice; one can opt for AC or choose a non-AC room. Rooms are good, and mess food is also decent (better than the food at other colleges).
Faculty: The faculty does a good job of clearing each and every subject. Every subject has a qualified faculty member. The course curriculum is designed to divide 19 subjects into 4 academic years with 8 semesters. There are mid-semester exams after the first semester and final exams after the second.

The facility and college are good.
Placements: In MBBS, there are 4.5 years and 1 year of internship. In every year, there are 250 students. Almost 100% of students get placements, and the top role offered is MD, which allows you to become a specialist. Interns have to do their internship in Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.
Infrastructure: The hostels are not that good; they are quite old, and dogs wander in the lobbies. There is one canteen with reasonable prices, but the bathrooms are not very clean. The food tastes good, and sports like badminton, volleyball, and basketball are available. A gym is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and highly knowledgeable; they are professionals. The course curriculum is relevant, and the first-year subjects are anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. The exams are moderate, and you cannot pass without studying, so you have to study.

I am satisfied with this college because it has a good campus life and many events.
Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is Rs.300000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs.60,000 per month. There are no recruiting companies. Students get placements in either private or government hospitals. Every student gets an internship from our college only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not good previously, but now, new buildings, super specialty blocks, and parking have been made on the hospital and college campuses, so the infrastructure has improved much more than in the previous years. The food served at the mess is average and sports facilities are also average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful as they tell us how to study during exams. They are very knowledgeable. Semester exams are not too difficult and students who start studying 1, 2, or 3 months before the exams can pass easily. The passing percentage required for students is 50% and almost 80-90% of them get through.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor and save lives.

One of the best medical colleges in Punjab.
Placements: As this is a medical college, there is no such thing as placements after MBBS. More focus is given to NEET PG or USMLE exams for better aspects of growth and income. But since this college is very well reputed due to it's alumni, one is counted upon.
Infrastructure: A new institute building has been constructed for various departments and classroom courses to be held for all professional years recently. Nice multistory library with a good atmosphere to study in. A new hostel building for boys and a sports complex are also under construction.
Faculty: The teachers are really nice and helpful. They may also assist you in research work. But it's the self-study that matters and you can't rely on them. Obviously, this course is worthy enough for your noble purpose. Semester exams are not tough if you study barely 2 hours a day, which is more than sufficient. A minimum of 50% is required to pass.
Other: The length of the course allows you to explore yourself, try different things and live college life a little longer. Aura is our college festival, which occurs every year in October. Those are the best days you'll probably enjoy. Seniors are quite hilly and helpful enough, guiding you through every aspect of college life and related problems. Hostels are fun to stay in. It's a great journey to embark on.
