My medical education

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified doctors specialized in their respective departments. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Our course runs under the CBME curriculum, which stands for Competency-Based Medical Education. We have continuous class tests here. They are often very difficult.

Government Medical College, Thrissur.

Faculty: Each department has a number of faculty members who are well-experienced. Apart from teaching, they also provide individual mentorship. The curriculum is very good. They also try to keep us interested in the course. The semester exams are good. They contain both subjective and objective questions. We have to get 50% of the total score in order to pass.

Thrissur Medical College (government) review One of the top 3 medical colleges in Kerala.

Faculty: The teachers are always strict on academics, but they're very helpful. They will always do only what is right for the students. They are all highly qualified and highly knowledgeable. The course curriculum never deviates off the relevancy. It only teaches what is needed for the upcoming exams as well as making the student ready for the higher years. Semester exams are not too hard but they aren't too easy either. A student with bare minimum knowledge cannot pass, only a student with average know...

Review of Government Medical College, Thrissur.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are all well qualified and have good knowledge. They teach through PowerPoint and lectures but for us, all the classes are boring. The course is now modified; details will be announced during admission. The exam will be tough but we can manage to pass it all.

I am satisfied with academics, campus life, and infrastructure.

Faculty: MBBS is a very difficult course. You have to cover a vast topic. Our college conducts frequent examinations to keep up the studies along with the classes. Teachers are qualified and always available to us. We get enough time to prepare for examinations. Our chapters will get finished early. The pass percentage is more than 75%.

Journey and rise of a doctor.

Faculty: Teachers were my first strength. You all know that medical life especially the first year is hard. The year which we first came to the college, teachers welcomed us. They taught in a way like they care for each students. Many of them connected personally and were very helpful for studies and as a life guide providing advices to thrive through this journey.
