Government Polytechnic College, Kangra is a very good institute. Teachers are very good and helpful.
Placements: In our college, from the batch of 2015 to 2018, very few students got placements because only 2 companies visited here for interviews. Among which, one company provided placements only for girls, while another company hired only those students who did industrial training in that company. Many academically top and brave students can not get any placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good, and there are well-maintained classrooms, labs and a library. There are also many Wi-Fi-enabled labs in my college. The hostel is good, but the food is not good. The canteen is good, but very few stationery items are available there. Medical facilities are not available in the college, but there is a hospital within 300 meters. Sports and games are played only on sports days and even only 7 days in 6 months.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, very helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very good, and they teach us very well. They make students industry-ready and can provide help in many other aspects. They are very good, and I love my teachers and very thankful to them for teaching me.
Other: In Government Polytechnic College, Kangra view is very good, and we can see the Dhauladhar Pahari view.
