B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Overall, it is an average college with wonderful faculty members and an outstanding location.
Placements: Last year, the number of students who got placed was quite high from B.Tech CSE. The highest package offered for a B.Tech student was 12 LPA, and the average or the lowest package was 5.5 LPA. Talking about internships, from the first year only, students get opportunities to gain new skills with good companies in their fields, and sometimes these internships come with pre-placement offers, which are very helpful for the students.
Infrastructure: In my course, they provide four computer labs with high-speed Wi-Fi built in for smooth use, and also one very spacious library. Classes are also very good. Talking about hostel facilities, the rooms are good, there is a gym, and for games, there are two grounds. Every year, they organize different tournaments.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They guide students for their careers and try to make students worthy humans in every field. They are also available anytime. Students can ask anything freely without any hesitation. Also, the curriculum is very good, which teaches us the basics and makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, and students do not have to study all night. Plus, the passing marks for students are only 30 out of 100, and for practicals, it is 17 out of 50.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to know and explore different technologies and software. In this college, they teach how things work from the basics. There are different activities organized by different clubs, and also there are two fests every year. One is in October, which is the freshers' party for all the newly admitted students called Abhinandan. The other is in April, which is the cultural fest in which different singers are invited to entertain students, called Antaraya.

About the college GRD PG IMT Dehradun .
Placements: About 70 to 80% of students are placed in the placement drive of the college. The average package is about 4 lakhs. There are many top recruiters like Sun Pharma, Mankind, Himalayas, Pfizer, Dabur, etc. The college also helps students with internships in the industry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good as it is one of the oldest colleges of pharmacy in Dehradun. It is located at a very prime location, which is well connected to public transport. The central library has many good publications. The hostel life is also good, and the food is good when compared to other college hostels.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and very experienced. They are all very cooperative with the students and always ready to help. Choosing pharmacy provides us with huge opportunities in the industry, as the college has made two industry visits compulsory per semester.

GRD Institute of Management and Technology College review.
Placements: If we maintain a good CGPA and have the right skills, we can land a package of 7-8 LPA. The percentage of students placed on campus is 70%. Top recruiters are TCS and Infosys, and the top role is software engineer. The highest package for this course is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. About 75% of students get internships from the college in their chosen companies.
Infrastructure: This course provides computer labs and a Wi-Fi equipped library to study about the respective field. The classrooms are normal and lack special equipment. Hostel facilities include meals three times a day and an evening snack. The food quality is good. A volleyball court is available inside the hostel. Medical facilities are provided in the warden's room.
Faculty: The courses are quite relevant to the tech industry. The curriculum covers almost all the topics needed to prepare for a tech industry job. The teachers are kind of helpful and supportive, and their teaching quality is good. Most of them have a master's degree in their respective fields. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and if we study for 3-4 hours, we can easily pass. We need a 30% score to pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the tech field. The best thing about my course is that it diversifies our approach to all the tech fields and the IT sector. This course also provides a better placement and internship approach for the students. However, the course needs improvement. For example, students should do programming on the screen, not on paper. Also, projectors should be installed in each classroom. Every year, many events such as freshers parties, festival parties, and fests are held. Singers are invited to perform at these events. The campus crowd is good, and extracurricular activities such as sports tournaments are held twice a year.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

My college life in a nutshell.
Placements: In my B.Tech. ME program, I had 24 other classmates, and almost everyone got a job offer from the college or outside. I received two offers from placements within the college: one offered 13,500 rupees per month in hand, and the other 25,000 rupees per month in hand. I did not accept either, as I had other plans. Everyone else got average packages of around 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. DHL offered 60,000 rupees per month; it was a pool placement, and the whole state participated. Only my classmate and friend Tanmay Gautam was selected, but he also did not join the company, as he started preparing for the IAS exam. So, placement was just fine. If you have the skills, you will easily get a job. Most of the companies were IT companies, but there were also mechanical and electrical companies. Companies that offered placements were DHL, Mega Rubber, KP Reliable, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: When I was a student, until the third year, the infrastructure was okay, but not very good. But in my fourth year and after I graduated, the infrastructure improved to top-notch quality. Computer labs are amazing, the library is beautiful now, a few classrooms are somewhat good, and a few are excellent. Mechanical engineering labs are decent, and electrical labs and other labs are amazing. GD halls are also equipped with the best furniture now. Grounds are well-maintained, and so are the courts. The auditorium was under renovation, and the management building is very good. Washrooms are now cleaned regularly, except for one that is usually for college workers. The boys' hostel has turned into a girls' hostel, as it is inside the college campus and will ensure girls' security. The girls' college, which was outside in front of the college, is now the boys' hostel. The hostel has plenty of space, and students have to share a room with two others.
Faculty: Teachers in the mechanical department were the worst; they were not supportive and would give out marks based on who flattered them, not on assignments and academics. They would bully you to depression. Exams were conducted well, but if you failed to pay your fees, it was a problem, and you would not be allowed to take the exam until you paid the fee, even if you had only 100 rupees remaining.
Other: The course had lower fees compared to other colleges, and my house was closer to this college than any other. There was no bullying by seniors, but there was bullying by teachers. The infrastructure was somewhat convincing, as they showed us the management department at the time, which was obviously well-maintained. But now the infrastructure is great. Fests and fresher parties were organized, and the A block was so big that students would plan small gatherings on festivals and have a lot of fun.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good placement in 2015 really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was approximately 95%. The highest salary package was 20 lacs per annum the least was 8 lacs per annum and on average it was 16 lacs per annum. In my course, every student was offered an internship from Slog Rubico and many other companies.
Infrastructure: There was a separate Wi-Fi network for each class, and lab classes were held every other day. The libraries were computerized and well-stocked with books. The food in the hostel mess and canteen was of good quality, and cleanliness was a top priority for the college.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are all Ph.D. holders and provide a brilliant quality of education. The semester exams are not that difficult because the teachers cover approximately every topic related to the exams. As a result, every student, regardless of their course, is made industry-ready and becomes an expert in their field.

Let’s Know Guru Ram Dass Institute of Management and Technology
Placements: Our college provides placement to almost 80% of students. The minimum package is 6 LPA and the highest is about 15 LPA. The placement is given in normal companies, not in high MNCs. Depending on your CGPA, you get the opportunity to sit in it . The placement director is very supportive.
Infrastructure: Environment over here is very good as college is near hills. The area over here has good infrastructure and facilities are very good. The infrastructure of our course is too good; the university is going with the trending technology. Those who opt for a hostel will get a good life for four years.
Faculty: Faculty over here is very good; they clear each and every doubt at the same time. Exams are university-based (UTU) once in the semester; other than this, two times the college conducts sessional exams. The curriculum is set by the University itself; the college does not decide it.
