GRD Institute is the best in all the aspects.
Placements: Placement was not good. Only 20% students were placed. The average salary was approximately 3.6 LPA. There were various companies visited our college. HCL, Micromax, Tech Mahindra, Indian Army, Expressway, etc. came to recruit. The highest package was 5.4 LPA. For computer science 4 students were selected. There were some students who were placed in Dubai also.
Infrastructure: All the facilities on the campus are good. All the labs fulfil the requirement of the experiments. The infrastructure is one of the best points because it's in Dehradun main city. Actually, this institute is very nearby to the queen of hills, means, Mussoorie. So the infrastructure is one of the best.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well educated & experienced. They have a good knowledge to express all the things. All the faculty members have more than 7 years of experience. All are PhD holders. Some faculty members come as guest lecturers. They are IIT's faculty also. The director of the college is a retired general who has lots of experience of life and the army field. All the faculty members are very close to all the students.

My college life in a nutshell.
Placements: In my B.Tech. ME program, I had 24 other classmates, and almost everyone got a job offer from the college or outside. I received two offers from placements within the college: one offered 13,500 rupees per month in hand, and the other 25,000 rupees per month in hand. I did not accept either, as I had other plans. Everyone else got average packages of around 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. DHL offered 60,000 rupees per month; it was a pool placement, and the whole state participated. Only my classmate and friend Tanmay Gautam was selected, but he also did not join the company, as he started preparing for the IAS exam. So, placement was just fine. If you have the skills, you will easily get a job. Most of the companies were IT companies, but there were also mechanical and electrical companies. Companies that offered placements were DHL, Mega Rubber, KP Reliable, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: When I was a student, until the third year, the infrastructure was okay, but not very good. But in my fourth year and after I graduated, the infrastructure improved to top-notch quality. Computer labs are amazing, the library is beautiful now, a few classrooms are somewhat good, and a few are excellent. Mechanical engineering labs are decent, and electrical labs and other labs are amazing. GD halls are also equipped with the best furniture now. Grounds are well-maintained, and so are the courts. The auditorium was under renovation, and the management building is very good. Washrooms are now cleaned regularly, except for one that is usually for college workers. The boys' hostel has turned into a girls' hostel, as it is inside the college campus and will ensure girls' security. The girls' college, which was outside in front of the college, is now the boys' hostel. The hostel has plenty of space, and students have to share a room with two others.
Faculty: Teachers in the mechanical department were the worst; they were not supportive and would give out marks based on who flattered them, not on assignments and academics. They would bully you to depression. Exams were conducted well, but if you failed to pay your fees, it was a problem, and you would not be allowed to take the exam until you paid the fee, even if you had only 100 rupees remaining.
Other: The course had lower fees compared to other colleges, and my house was closer to this college than any other. There was no bullying by seniors, but there was bullying by teachers. The infrastructure was somewhat convincing, as they showed us the management department at the time, which was obviously well-maintained. But now the infrastructure is great. Fests and fresher parties were organized, and the A block was so big that students would plan small gatherings on festivals and have a lot of fun.
