Totally satisfied, best private college for engineering in Punjab at a low price (according to me).

Placements: Most people who are serious about placement get placed. Maintaining a good CGPA, knowledge about your core subject, and confidence will definitely get you placed. So far, the highest package is INR 17 LPA in Z-scalar, and the average package lies between INR 3-5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. You get more than what you pay for, considering our college takes less time than other private colleges in Punjab. Every class has AC and Wi-Fi. The library and labs are very good. Canteen, medical, hostel, sports—everything is available.

Faculty: 99% of the faculty are very well qualified and concerned for students. Teachers are very helpful and try to solve every student's problem. Each student gets a mentor with whom he or she can share every problem, be it academic or personal, which is very helpful. The course curriculum is prepared according to industry needs. The college also organizes industry visits regularly.

Other: I took Information Technology because I had always been a techie guy and wanted to gain more knowledge and get a good placement. The council and the Department of Student Welfare organize events on a regular basis. Scholarships are available for students with 90+% in 12th grade, for two siblings studying at the same college, and for SC/ST students. There is basically everything a student or parent expects from a college.

Very satisfied with the institute and what it provides to the students.

Placements: 80% of students were placed from my college. The lowest was Rs 2.5 LPA, a lot was offered 3 -4 LPA, but the highest was Rs 8 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, etc. visited for placements. Roles like software engineer, developer, senior developer, etc. were offered.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are in decent condition. The buildings are also nice. They do provide basic facilities like free Wi-Fi, water cooler, parking, benches to sit and canteen too. They also have a huge library, and a seminar hall, multiple computers labs.

Faculty: The teachers in this college are very nice and kind. They are very helpful, well educated and knowledgeable. They help every student in the language they are comfortable with. About 85 per cent of students pass the exam. The curriculum help the students in making them industry-ready.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and facilities, but it has good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: I have recently seen that many companies arrived in our college and many students got placed. Still, many companies are arriving for campus placements. Irrespective of the placements and the packages offered, I found it very low and there is a bond period of minimum of 1 and maximum 3 years for that low package. The highest salary package offered as of now is 11 LPA. But only for 1 or 2 students. Majorly packages lie in between 2.75 LPA to 4 LPA. Recently package offered was 8 LPA as well. These are the small companies majorly from Chandigarh and Mohali. If I give a rough estimation, around 25-30% of the students got placed in companies like Biz Merlin, Iron Networks, Zscaler, etc. Roles offered for the job were frontend developer, backend developer, web developer, QA, and cloud services.

Infrastructure: There are labs, cameras, and projectors in the classrooms and library also. Wi-Fi is restricted to the lab only. Mess food quality is worst, and the canteen is somewhat good. We also have a basic medical facility. Sports and games are held at a very small level and no student gets timely information about what is happening in the sports, games, and events. Only some selected interested students are offered a chance to play.

Faculty: I would rate teaching as 50 out of 100 marks because not all teachers are knowledgeable or qualified, but only half of them are. I have seen there are biases in helping and opportunities provided to students. I have been topper there but the opportunities and support were major to the students who are known to head and teachers over there or they have some relations with their parents or anything from backstage. They are trying to make the curriculum industry-ready. But still work is in progress only. The exams I found are normal. They are not that tough or not very easy though. You can clear with the basic study. The majority of the students pass.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in computers and the digital world.
