The infrastructure is good, and it is a proper college for any student.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placements. Various types of hotel and hospitality visit our college to provide jobs for students. Many top recruiting companies of our college like The Oberoi Group of Hotel, ITC Properties, JW Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Novotel, Westin, etc. Roles offered for students are chef, front office personnel, housekeeper and waiter.

Infrastructure is good, but the facilities are poor.

Placements: Only around 20%-30% of the students get placed each year from college. Many students apply for walk-in interviews because few top-rated brands visit, and they also select very few students. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.

College is quite good. Scope for improvement is there but placements are really good.

Placements: The college offers 100% placement guarantee. My batch is still studying but the senior batch was placed successfully in 5 star properties. Each and every student gets internship in 5 star properties either in India or abroad as per their choice. Top roles offered are supervisor, line cook.

Not so satisfied with the infrastructure and for the placement also.

Placements: Till 2018 it was good in terms of placement. But as of now it is not up to the marks. Most of the good companies does not come during these days. Even if it comes it does come with only associate level positions. No management training programme are not being offered by the companies.

Placements of this course is great. Top properties use to hire. Like Taj Bengal, oberoi, etc. Chain hotels, resorts, stand alone hotels, etc.

Gurunanak is a home for students who live in the hostel.

Placements: Only 3% to 5% of the students were placed. The placements were not good at all. Companies like Accor Hotels, Taj, Grand, etc., have visited our college for placements, but they only offered jobs with a salary of about Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 14,000 per month that too outside of Kolkata. If the job location is in Kolkata, then the salary package ranges from Rs. 9,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month. Nobody can survive with such payouts. Working hours are more, and we have to work too hard. ...

Don't take admission in this college.

Placements: The college has very few placements opportunities, and abroad placements are available. Stay away from this college regarding placements. The student strength is high, and there is no awareness about the placements. This college is commercial.

Placements: Placement was not so good for my match but previously the placement of our senior was quite good if we compare it from our batch. 35 percent of placement happened in our batch. Few Hotels like Marriott, Hayat, Taz,4 point by ceretan visited our college for placement. They were offering hotel management, catering roles to us.

Satisfied with this college and with the faculty members.

Placements: The placement is good but not 100%. More than 70-80% students had got the placement from the college last year. The salary offered to the students are between Rs. 15,000 - 20,000 per month at the starting of the job. After that, the salaries increases according to the performance of the student.

Good placement and good infrastructure.

Placements: I am a 1st-year student. Our seniors are placed in 5-star hotels. Every student got an internship in aboard. The stipend is good there, but in India, it is only 1500-2000 per month. In aboard, there is the good stipend, but firstly you have to pay for visa and travel charges, but there you gain more than what you have invested.

Placements: I got placement as a management trainee in Mayfair Hotels and Resorts. The placement is nice and world-class in all properties of the world. There was a total of 100% placement. Cruise and airlines placement is also available. If you are focussing on going abroad to lead a great life, Jayanta Ghosh will help you.
