This college is one of the best choices for B.Sc in biotechnology in this city.

Placements: The institute offers placement opportunities for students in various companies across the countries. Since I was a student of B.Sc, in our department, a decent placement record was available with an average salary package of 2 LPA. I have seen some of our seniors of M.Sc or pharmacy get really good salary packages. I did have any placement experience since I did not apply for any placement. Major posts in our course were offered in packaging industries, manufacturing industries, etc.

GNIPST is a very beautiful college with a well-equipped campus.

Placements: Overall, placements are good with proper pre-placement sessions. There are various sectors in which students got placed like production, sales, etc. Still, recruitment completely depends upon the skills and hard work done by students. All students can get an opportunity to attend the interview.

The college has good faculty members, but placements are not good.

Placements: Since our batch is in the 2nd year and the college conducts campus interviews only for the final year students, I can only say about the placements of senior batches. Last year, i.e., in 2018, a small increase was seen in the number of placements concerning the previous years. Many major companies like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Infosys, etc., visited the campus to offer jobs to students. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month, the highest salary offered was Rs. 26,000 per month, and the lowes...

The infrastructure of the college and the playground are good.

Placements: Most of the students were placed in Cipla, Abbott, Nestle, Sun Pharma, etc., with an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. Almost all the students were selected for the marketing field only. Some students opted for pursuing a master's degree in different colleges through GPAT including NIPER.

The college is good in all aspects.

Placements: You'll get pharmacy shop license. You will get a role of drug inspector, and many other jobs by the campus. The campus is good for many other facilities. The faculty members are helpful. The minimum CGPA for the students is 6.0, and I don't know what to say now.

All I Know About GNIPST, a good pharmacy college.

Placements: Placement was fair on my session, Companies like GSK, CTS, Nestle came and took eligible candidates. Some got placed in pool campusing also. Our immediate seniors got placement in GSK, Abbott, CTS, Apollo Pharmacy, Dr. Lal Pathabe and was well off. There are options for off campusing also. The faculty members are very keen on having all of their students placed in satisfied jobs.

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology review.

Placements: For the last three to four years, the placements are going well from the campus as of I have seen and heard. Other than that, new companies are coming, and day by day, the number of companies are increasing. Not only the placement of bachelor courses are well, but also masters courses are going well.

The infrastructure, faculty, and environment are good enough for the B.Pharma.

Placements: Well, the college affiliated to WBUT, and there are no big pharma industries in Kolkata and the outskirts that's why the students usually get placed in marketing. The placement in research and development are rare from the college. Though, the academics of the college are strong the plenty of students pursue the higher education with the good GPAT score.

Satisfied because of the faculty and dissatisfied because of bad placements.

Placements: The placements offered in our department was not good. There was few pharmacy based company, and they were hiring only for the medical representatives. As a biotechnology student, why should I go for a job which is not satisfactory for me and my course? It should be fixed soon.
