Q:   Does GNIPST offer better placements than other BCDA College of Pharmacy and Technology?

A:

GNIPST has a superior placement record in comparison with BCDA College of Pharmacy and Technology. Both placements statistics for these institutions are quite impressive but GNIPST seems to have an edge in terms of its strong relationship with major pharmaceutical industries as well as its good name. Additionally, GNIPST has a robust alumni network which dates back many years; therefore attracting top notch pharmaceutical recruiting companies.

Very good college in 2024.
Placements: There are so many companies recruiting for jobs, but having a B.Sc. degree, you can have many options to go, like switching to fields like Sales, Marketing, and other job options. You can surely have these opportunities studying in this college, definitely if you are eligible.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well ventilated, with one side open to the beautiful green campus and a source of light and wind too. Seats are well enough, and some classes have smart classrooms. Labs are also good enough, but for Pharmacy and Post Graduation, they are fair enough.
Faculty: If you are ready to learn something, you can definitely make the students industry-ready. Faculty is very strict when you are giving exams, with strict guards and CCTV installed almost everywhere, and they are in working condition and supervised. The lab is also good.
Other: I would suggest going for autonomous-run colleges, but if you are opting for B. Pharma, then GNIPST is the best for Pharmacy among the private colleges in Kolkata.

GNIPST is one of the best private pharmacy colleges.
Placements: I completed my D.Pharma course, and on campus, I got a job at Apollo Retail Pharmacy with a package of 1.72 Lacs. I suggest all the students take admission in GNIPST as they provide good education with placement. You can check last year's placements in GNIPST AC website.
Infrastructure: The labs of the college are well decorated and scientifically correct. All equipment and chemicals are held in their specific labs. Wi-Fi is not available for all; specific education areas provide passwords. The hostels are not bad, and the canteen provides good food. After college, all students can play football, cricket, badminton, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Every teacher is different. Some are very strict and angry, while others are friendly and casual. But all the teachers are very helpful. If any student needs help with studies at any time, even on holidays, all teachers try their best to help the student. Exams are difficult because the guard is very strict.
Other: I completed a Diploma in Pharmacy. The duration of the course is 2 years. I got the SVMCM scholarship every year. Extracurricular activities include participating in fests and seminars with or without poster presentations.

Faculty members and infrastructure, both are very good.
Placements: Most of the students are placed here. The highest package offered here is INR 6.5 LPA, and the minimum is INR 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies include GSK, Cipla, Abbott, etc. About 90% of students get jobs from internships, and the rest get them from outside. Top roles offered in the QA/QC industry, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really very good, and students can enjoy the facilities of free WIFI here. Classrooms are larger and have a minimum capacity of 60 students. There is a canteen facility available, and the quality of food is also very good here. Large grounds are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. The only thing wrong is the flip-learning method of teaching. The course is very relevant, and the B.Pharma course is really good. Students are ready for industries like QA and QC. Semesters are moderately good. Students can pass if they study hard.
Other: I chose this course because of the IRIS Chemistry Fest and the available scholarship.

Satisfied with my college and the services it provides.
Placements: Am currently a student in Bachelor in microbiology from Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and technology and my college has a good environment with a healthy teaching experience and great campus advisors regarding job interviews. Internship call includes Nestle and many more companies and about 99% of students are placed from my college with teachers taking a great responsibility in it. As a microbiologist, top roles offered for me is quality assurance and quality control.
Infrastructure: My college has a lush green campus with the motive of saving energy and reducing environmental hazards. Our hostel facilities are recently built and are under construction while few rented houses are available. The food available in college hostel is healthy. The classes and labs are equipped with modern day instruments and chemicals are available.
Faculty: The teachers available here are trained to teach their respective subjects and take care of each and every student personally and assessments are conducted on a regular basis to judge the academic growth of every student. Moreover the training internships make the students industry ready at a very early stage in their career. The college have a strict monitoring over their semester exams which only helps and benefits the students.
Other: I have chosen B.Sc. in microbiology because all my life I had a keen interest in and it was a strong subject which I was well versed at. As a microbiologist till now I personally don't feel about any change in the curriculum. Moreover our college hosts Iris, its annual cultural fest which attracts many people and is well known in the event circuit too. Many games and sports are there too which helps every student to prosper in their own way.
