Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc. Programs at Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science and Commerce

Unfortunately, based on the student reviews and feedback, it appears that the college does not have a dedicated placement cell specifically for B.Sc. programs. According to some students, the college shares information about off-campus interviews with students, and teachers may offer guidance and assistance during the application process. However, there is no mention of any formal placement services or initiatives targeted towards B.Sc. students.

Here's a summary of the relevant statements:

* "We have a very good placement cell." (Note: This statement refers to the entire college, not just B.Sc. programs)
* ".many companies visit here for hiring freshers."
* "A lot of competitive jobs are offered here. teachers are supportive for this."
* "Our college does not have any campus placements cell."

While the college seems to have a good reputation and offers various facilities, it appears that the placement scene for B.Sc. students might be limited. Students seeking employment after completing their B.Sc. programme may need to rely on self-initiative and external resources to find suitable job opportunities.

Excellent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement drive is below average as there was just one drive conducted and only 1 got selected. Salary package was not disclosed. Banking sector companies come mostly for placements. Job roles offered are mostly in accounting and finance. Overall experience of placement was good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very neat and clean, air conditioned and library is also open and very useful. Canteen food is very hygienic and tasty. Our college does not provide hostel facility. College has an annual fest called nazrana where every talent is appreciated.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Exams are quite easy if you have prepared and attended lectures regularly. Because of supportive faculty students find it easier to study and also very helpful during the preparation of black book. Teachers provide proper knowledge and guide tgem time to time.
Other: College fests and events are the best memories. Campus is very pretty and worth spending time with your friends. Scholarships are provided for under priveleged students or students wise financial conditions are not good.

Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science and Commerce was my dream college.
Placements: I got placed very soon. My percentage was 83.69%. Almost 80 students got placed. The college is a Sikh Minority college, so they provide Sikh students with many opportunities, but they also give chances to other students who scored less after all the list has been done.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. The college is clean. Cleanliness is maintained well in corridors, campus, and canteen. Sports and games are conducted. The college provides many opportunities to students who want to achieve something in the sports field.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they teach you in a great manner. Their teaching quality is very good. The college has a good curriculum, and they prepare students for their future. Exams are quite difficult, but one can score great marks if prepared well.
Other: I selected this course because I was more interested in accountings.

No language challenge, mostly English is used in campus.
Placements: Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Gates, Icici, etc. Visited the college for placements. The placement cell of our college organises seminars to inform students about the employment avenue which are open to them. Nevertheless very few of our batch students appear for the interviews for those average companies and out of that few got selected.
Infrastructure: The food in the canteen is also good, and our canteen is one of the best canteens in our surrounding college. Our college has taken the best care to provide a wonderful campus that has the best up to date library, labs with Wi-Fi, air- conditioning and startup cell. It has very huge classrooms for all students to sit comfortably.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well versed with specific knowledge. Every day there will be writing and oral tests, and if there is any problem, the teachers explain it on the spot. Many interactive alumni sessions and industrial visits are organised that enable professional and practical skills among students.
Other: Multiple sports grounds & coaching present. Best in NCC. Moderately busy calendar with 1-3 monthly events. Incomplete attendance invites penalties. Students can do whatever they want.

It is an ordinary college.
Placements: Our college does not provide an internship. TCS is a major recruiting firm of the college. The placement scenario is not that good. I suggest you opt for another college.
Infrastructure: The canteen and library are available. The food served is decent. Computer labs are available. Wi-Fi facility is also provided to us. They should improve a bit on the girls' library.
Faculty: The fee for unaided is high. Teachers teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is the same old education. They provide some courses, but they charge money for them.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In college, there were around 4-5 companies who came for placements. In Accounting and finance course out of 100, 60% of students got internships in different companies like TCS, Motilal Oswal etc. Roles offered by the companies was Junior assistant.
Infrastructure: Guru Nanak Khalsa college provides all necessary requirements such as air conditioned classroom, computer lab, library, sports ground, Canteen, etc. Library and computer labs are any time available for students. In college there, there are 2 canteens. The food quality is good and for affordable prices.
Faculty: College has qualified and helpful teachers. All the teachers are so good at teaching and give every relevant information to the students in an easy way. All the teachers are always there to help and guide the students. The curriculum for the course helps to improve students' knowledge and teachers help the students to make them work in the industry very effectively.
Other: All the course which college provides are the best, but I chose Accounting and Finance course because I have a keen interest in finance. Guru Nanak Khalsa college arranges Events and Fest for students. All the students get the opportunity to organise the events and to participate in the events. Guru Nanak Khalsa college has a Rotaract club (Non-profit organisation). College campus is big enough, environment friendly.
