Journey of Gurucharan College
Placements: I am studying in 2nd semester of B.Com degree course, but I have knowledge about the placement provided by our college. Last year, Tata Consultancy and Services (TCS) company provided placement to more than 10 students who passed B.Com from Gurucharan College. The highest package provided by TCS last year was 40,000, and the lowest package was 19,000. In our college, there is no internship program, which is quite bad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facility in our college is quite good. All the technical tools required to pursue the courses and teaching are available in our college. The Wi-Fi and labs are available in our college. The classrooms and the library are well decorated. The library situated in our college is a central library, and all types of books are available there.
Faculty: The faculty in Gurucharan College is very good. All the faculty members have very friendly behavior with their students, and they provide very good marks to the students in every exam. All the faculty members are NET qualified, and almost 10 to 15 teachers have a Ph.D. degree. They are very highly qualified.

Our college has a ray of hope for all students.
Placements: Our college provides very wonderful placements. I can see the light of our future. The salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 5 LPA. Top companies visit our college to recruit students for their corporate needs.
Infrastructure: The inspector of the hostel is to voted the left classroom library and also in a very well sound position they openly help provide us by giving runs of plan pages types of game we play a very good games when thay help us by giving them a all games at all.
Faculty: The security at our college is very good. This positive environment helps us improve our communication, learning, and understanding skills. It is important for a company to focus on enhancing the quality of its services.

If you're willing to stay in Silchar, you should definitely go for GC College.
Placements: Gurucharan College doesn't offer placements for students most of the times. If they do, it's not that much, and it's in some local company or something. So, for a job, you have to learn skills along with your graduation and apply for jobs and find it yourself because you won't get much help, or I would say no help, from the college.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of the Commerce department aren't that good. Talking about Wi-Fi, there isn't any Wi-Fi for students, and don't think about good food because you won't get any in the canteen. The canteen only offers packaged foods, i.e., chips, juice, soft drinks, etc.
Faculty: The teachers of the Commerce department are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They will help you, but talking about the course curriculum, I don't think it will make you industry-ready. You have to learn skills all by yourself and have to make yourself industry-ready. About exams, you'll have to sit in two exams: first is internal exams (1st UT)/mid-sems, and the end semester exams.
Other: My reason for getting into this college is because it's the best in the town, though it has some issues, and I hope the college authority will resolve them.

Review of Gurucharan College.
Placements: I know that only TCS comes to our college for placements, and the highest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting company is Tata and around 10% to 12% of students get the opportunity to receive an offer from TCS. Tata offers placements in their Kolkata branch.
Infrastructure: Gurucharan College provides excellent infrastructure, including labs, classrooms, digital classrooms, a library, scientific equipment, and all the necessary accessories that a college needs. College also has a playground that is used for various programs, cultural events, and activities such as cultural nights and other cultural programs.
Faculty: All the faculty members at our college are qualified and knowledgeable. They provide support to every student at each step of college life. However, I feel that the curriculum is not up to the mark as per my expectations. I am a commerce student and was hoping for more practical papers during my studies, but instead, they only provide theory-based papers.

Best college in the entire Barak valley .
Placements: Placement is not bad as compared to other colleges in Barak Valley. Many high-established companies also come and provide placements every year, and if the students have done their degree sincerely, then they have a lot of chance to get placed in such reputed and high-paying companies.
Infrastructure: Very well developed facilities are available; buildings are well designed; they apply paint to the walls every year. Water filters are also scrutinized each week. Food that is available in the canteen is just like home-made food because of the staff's hygienic nature.
Faculty: Teachers behavior is very friendly, and they always try to teach the students in the easiest way they can; they explain one thing repeatedly, and because of their friendly nature, students don't hesitate before asking any questions more than once, twice, or three times.
Other: Too many fests and events are organized every year.

Good college in silchar with good faculty .
Placements: The college does? T have a placement cell and does? T offer any placement on campus but students get placement sometimes from outsourcing companies the college is affiliated under Assam University which has a placement cell where companies come and the students of the college can also participate .
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with modern labs and classrooms and libraries and few of them are even air conditioned but lacks well-equipped hostel facilities
It has a hostel but it is not worth staying with not proper sports and games and medical facilities .
Faculty: The teachers of the college are the best thing about the college and one can definitely say that the faculty is one of the best in the town
The course curriculum is diverse and in depth with the latest study patterns and it makes a student industry ready
The semester exams are moderate tough with a 70%+ pass percentage .
Other: I chose mathematics honours and the best thing about my course is the in-depth knowledge of mathematics that I received from my teachers
The only thing that I want them to improve is more of practical classes
Our college hosts yearly fest and events with various extracurricular activities including cooking competitions and dance and sports events.
